West Ham’s new Mexico striker Guillermo Franco only signed on Thursday and is unlikely to feature.
Alessandro Diamanti may make his full debut, while Kieron Dyer (hamstring) returns along with Herita Ilunga whose cheekbone injury has healed.
Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has recovered from a pelvic injury gained on international duty.
Fabio Aurelio has regained full fitness, while Nabil El Zhar has also recovered from a knee problem.West Ham

Three straight wins since the Aston Villa nightmare have steadied out ship somewhat and we are creating loads of chances every time we take the field, unfortunately against Debrecen we couldn’t finish off the moves put together by the likes of in form Gerrard and Benayoun.
West Ham will be a tricky team to overturn on their own patch and whilst they only have one win from their four games this season it is worth noting that three of those have been away from home and that they have played pretty decently this term.
My Prediction: 1-0 to Liverpool

Torres needs a rest we need a back up 2 him for the season ahead would play reina, johnson, aurelio, carragher, skrtel, mascherano, gerrard, riera, benayoun, babel, kuyt with benayoun just behind babel centrally and kuyt on the right resting insua too
Think babel needs to be given a shot up front with his pace and shot and yossi and stevie g playing him in could save ourselves 20 million on a striker and if torres gets injured through the season we are in trouble

The time has come again for the players to lace the boots and hit the battle field. For the benefit of those who are watching the game at home, or those who will have to rely on text updates, here is a link that may [ or may not ] interest you.
I hope it does, As I would like see you there.
