Toon Army complete loan deal for Dolphin lookalike.

Football - SV Hamburg v Aston Villa UEFA Cup Group Stage Matchday Five

Newcastle United have completed a loan deal for Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood, BBC Newcastle reports.
The 30-year-old will go into the Magpies squad for the trip to Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday.
Villa signed Harewood from West Ham United for £4m in July 2007, but made just one league start for Martin O’Neill’s side in that time.
Harewood has fallen out of favour at Villa, his last appearance came against CSKA Moscow in February’s Uefa Cup tie.
Newcastle have been struggling for strikers following the departures of Obafemi Martins to Wolfsburg and Michael Owen to Manchester United, while Shola Ameobi has also been ruled out due to injury.
Meanwhile Harewood’s first team opportunities have been limited following the form of England duo Gabriel Agbonlahor and Emile Heskey, Norway international John Carew, as well as the emergence of talent such as Nathan Delfouneso. (BBC Sport)

Marlon Harewood is a much maligned figure in football, kind of like Bobby Zamora and Dave Kitson, he is a striker in name only. At Aston Villa, where he was brought in for a fee of £4m, a fee that should surely be looked into by the Fraud Squad, he had very little chance to prove himself and to be fair to the lad he could well do a much better job in the Championship where he may be more suited. You know what, I am going to place a bet that he scores 15 goals+ this season!
