As usual an excellent topical sketch from our friends at Studs Up in relation to the will they/won’t they issue of the England 2018 World Cup Bid. In all seriousness though, why has it taken so long for the country to successfully lobby FIFA to host the showpiece tournament of world football? By the time 2018 rolls around it would have been over 50 years since 66′! Am I being too cynical by suggesting that football’s governing body is simply Anti-English?
