Shortly after arriving, the Netherlands striker Klaas Huntelaar could leave AC Milan in the winter.
Due to a disastrous start to the season with only 9 points from 7 matches and in 12th place AC Milan could decide to dispense with the services of Dutchman who arrived in the summer for 15 million euros. Those approached to replace Klaas include Russian Pavlyuchenko (Tottenham), Italy’s Luca Toni (Bayern Munich) and Brazilian Adriano (Flamengo) are approached to join the Rossoneri. (Eurosport)
Whilst its a dangerous game to put one and one together, this particular combination of stories does seem to make at least some sense. Tottenham forward Roman Pavlyuchenko, though hard working and a fan favourite, doesn’t appear to have much in the way of a future at White Hart Lane and then we have Klaas Jan Huntelaar who has been something of a flop at AC Milan, on his way out, who was of course strongly linked with a move to north London.
The 26 year old former Real Madrid and Ajax man has yet to score in Serie A this term and the club’s very poor start to the season, coupled with the loss of Kaka in the summer, have led to a lot of unrest at the San Siro and Huntelaar could well be on his way.
Would a swap be of any use to Harry Redknapp though? Having already got three top notch frontmen in the form of Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch, perhaps all they need is a fourth striker in the form of an up and coming youngster of an experienced striker who doesn’t mind coming off the bench.

I agree. Bringing Huntelaar may just replace one unhappy sub with another. Better to go for someone older who doesn’t care about being injury cover.

Huntelaar has had two massive blows in a row to his confidence in the last year , the last thing that he needs is to become a fourth choice striker ,we have 3 good strikers the, 4th spot should go to a young player who we should be developing . As for the enemy who thinks we are a crap team may I suggest that maybe Huntelar would like to come to us just so he can be closer to your mother

Tottenham is nowhere near AC MILAN in stature….. they are a good side….but AC are one of the best in the world …. going through a makeover period…….albeit under a Disenchanted owner(who has a lot ore on his plate right about…. now, than he can chew!!)……and a manager who was thought to be the next Guardiola…
… how FOOLISH of Galliani…..however true winners have faith in themselves and they get going when the going gets tough….. and so should Huntellar…. and hopefully AC would challenge for the CL in two years time….. YOOOO AC.

The truth is, and I am saying this as a Spurs fan, it would be something of a coup to bring him to the Lane – as first choice striker. I really don’t think he would be any happier than Pav. to sit on the bench – but Keaen/Defoe/Crouch is working, so ‘Arry is well within his rights not to take it.
I’m certainly not one of the Keane knockers (Robbie Keaen has man-boobs:-O), but if ‘Arry could entice him to Lane, at the age he’s at, KJH would probably be a better option than Keano in the long run – but his confidence would appear to be shot, and he totally untried in the Prem so it would also be something of a risk.

Huntelaar had his chance to come to us but he choose CL and thebright lights of Milan. Now he cant cut it he wants to come to us. He can feck off and stay on the Milan bench. Pav is a superstar in the making .To all those slagging of Spurs can also feck off and get a life. To take time out to slag of another club ..pathetic.

Huntelaar 4 Pav wat a deal!As a Spurs fan i have seen that Pavlyuchenko is not strong enough nor good enough 4 da premiership.Technically he is good player and wud be good in Italy as it is not as phisical as the premiership. But any real football fan can see Huntelaar is MILES better than Pav.So bring on the Hunter.COMMON YE SPURS!!!!!
