Funny how the Citeh fans are now all really cockey because they have a rich owner.
Benayoun is a great footballer and a good professional who by all accounts has snubbed the interest.

Rafa's love of Lucas is really annoying in the first place. The boy should only play against the lesser teams to get the experience he need. After last season, i can't imagine how Lucas starts before Benayoun. Could part of the reason why Rafa bought the injured Aquilani so Lucas could get a run in the team

Yossi, isnt he the turtle from Mario Bros, dont think he will cut it for City.

Like someone else said, we have bigger fish to catch, never mind an Israeli turtle, we already got rid of one in Ben Haim so why would we want another?

You can keep him and we will keep our money.

Yossi Benayoun's agent insists the Israel international is 'very happy' at Liverpool – and poured scorn on the idea his client would be interested in a move to Man City.
The 29-year-old, who signed a two-year extension to his contract with the Reds in July, has been in mercurial form since the turn of the year – prompting reported interest from down the M62.

"Naturally a player playing well at Liverpool will always have other teams interested in him," said Benayoun's agent, Ronen Katsav.

"It is a great compliment that there is interest from high level teams across Europe, but Yossi is very happy at Liverpool and only in the summer agreed a new contract for another four seasons."

Oh dear. I agree that Yossi should start every game but it is also important to have players on the bench that can make an impact. Yossi can make an impact when he starts or when he comes on as a sub. Our bench is very weak so had Yossi started against Chelsea for instance, who was on the bench to come on and make a difference? Yossi starts his fare share of games in my opinion. Does anyone think that he would play every week at City?
