Liverpool New Boy Aquilani Scores 30 Yard Screamer (Video): Something to Look Forward To!
by Mad Dog and Glory on October 12th, 2009 84 words | 14 commentsJust weeks away from his first game in a Liverpool jersey, it seemed a good time to dig this fantastic 30 yard strike from the video vault. When he does finally don a Reds shirt he will be under immense pressure to justify the price tag and lengthy wait and I am sure Rafa Benitez will hope that the gamble of signing a player with a long term injury doesn’t backfire.

Wow, yeah great story. honest. Thought ya meant he’d scored for reserves or something, but in typical caught offside style its all headline, no purpose.

Evening all
One thing i’m not looking forward to is that if he does play badly people will go “He sucks” or “waste of money” when he will need time to adjust to the English game first.
However goals like that would be really handy and is he going to be back by the Man utd game in about 2 weeks time?

That was a scorcher however i now for a fact he won’t be amazing on his first game but then agin i could be wrong!
They said that he’ll be back in a few weeks time like 2 months ago so is there any actual date when he’ll actually play a game?

To anonymous above, did someone force you to come to this site? The headline is hardly misleading is it? It does exactly what it says on the tin, get a life mate!
Back to the subject in hand, great goal, hopefully he will be a great asset for the club, but we must not expect him to gel instantly.

He probably cant kick the ball 5 yards at the moment. However, I do look forward to you posting a clip in 6 weeks time showing some crackers for Liverpool
