Arsenal Ready for Shock Move for £16m Sagna: Juventus Want Talented Right Back

Juventus have laid eyes on Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna as they draw up plans for the right side of their defence.
According to Tuttosport, Sagna is on top of the hit-list at Vinovo and director Alessio Secco is reportedly very keen to land him.
The Gunners man has all the qualities Secco is looking for in Turin with his experience and defensive prowess, but he is unlikely to be cheap.
It is said that Arsene Wenger could consider a sale, but the price is likely to scare off the Bianconeri. With that in mind, Juve are also looking at alternatives. (Yahoo)
Since his arrival at the Emirates two and a half years ago French international Bacary Sagna has been a model of consistency as Arsenal’s first choice right back so it is no surprise that potential suitors are looking at him with a view to a hopeful opportunity to sign him, but how likely is it that Arsene Wenger would let such a talented player leave?
The 26 year old former Auxerre man was hardly a household name when he arrived at the north London club and indeed he didn’t receive his first senior international call up until he made the move to the Premier League club so you can see just how much the move has benefited the impressive full back, so would he turn his back on the club now?
This source is correct that it would take a large fee to persuade Arsene to even consider selling the £16m rated Sagna and personally I don’t think it is even a question of how much they could get for Bacary, I just don’t see the club thinking about such a move, and surely the player himself would show utmost respect for the club who made him what he is today?

I agree. There is no way Arsene would allow Sagna to leave but would the French full back demand a move if we fail to win anything this season

16million for Sagna? A full back who bombs forward but can’t cross worth a damn or finish in the box? Hell yes. Eboue is not as good defensively, but for 16 million I can live with Eboue being the starting right back.
With the depth we have in lineup and reserves, if we can ransom other teams in Europe to grossly overpay for our players, by all means.
