anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 7:16 pm
Think Kaka should be higher, definately Top3
villa should not be in to top5, plenty after him who are better players
few question marks after the top 10… ferdinand at 12? cassillas the highest rated keeper? forlan in the Top 25?
just scanning up the list there is a few raised eyebrows… Alves? Mascherano? Pato?
RAMOS?! i presume this is Sergio Ramos? wtf?
Pique? Cheilenni? Cassano?!?!
anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
Fabregas should be higher !
Top 10..
What do you think of Moussa Dembele (AZ + Belgium International)
RaNE - October 13th, 2009 at 8:46 pm
ano 7:16
why shouldnt forlan be in the top 25 he is a goal machene in la liga and does actually score more goals than aguero
i like both forlan and aguero but aguero hits the headlines more because he is younger
anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
torres should be where villa is….
anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 9:27 pm
Thye fact essien isnt in the top 10 makes this list a joke!
anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 9:44 pm
Barclays Premier League legend Ryan Giggs. on 95 totally crap i think even lil bit*h can make better list than this bit*C
anonymous - October 13th, 2009 at 10:42 pm
Ronaldinho over Wilson Palacios, Santi Cazorla, Mario Gomez etc? FF2 is havin a laugh on that one.
Other than that, good list.
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 12:13 am
agrreed with the list. i think kanoute shd be in top 20, xavi 2nd ribery in top 10
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 1:45 am
Gerrard higher than Kaka?!? FourFourTwo has just lost its dignity.
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 9:50 am
Evra higher then Terry hahahaha!
Get Fabregas in the top 10 and fuck off iniesta
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 10:08 am
So Old fat Ronaldo still makes it into the list at Number 100?!
Retryboy - October 14th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
Think ribery should definitely be top 10 berbatov is not consistent enough to make the list giggs at 35 is used sparingly explaining the low position good to see mascherano and reina getting the respect they deserve alongside gerrard and torres.
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 1:42 pm
evra before clichy??? wtf? and fabregas shud be in top 10 and arshavin
RaNE - October 14th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
ano 1:42 i just want to say and this is out of the blue are you a arsenal fan by chance because its hard to tell.
on to business i dont see why (fat) ronaldo shouldnt make the list he has rekindled his career at corinthians and did really well there
as for underated players
NO.37 GOURCUFF
he basically won bordoux the french title he was basically man of the match and his international career he is now in the first squad all in one year that should surely be higher than the likes of ashley bloody cole
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 6:35 pm
Im not really surprised, the lad behind it must be a spaniard as they look alike, and by the way what is the yardstick used to rate 1, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Torres are all rubbish where they are, majority will not pay to watch them, And by the way they are not original talkless of where you put them, you fugacy.
Iskled
Retryboy - October 14th, 2009 at 7:09 pm
As the list is so obviously based on last season (van der saar hasn’t played a game this year and ferdinands been shocking) why are city’s fans raving about bellamy based on last year stephen ireland and given should be in. Doubt there are many around that could compile a real world list though
anonymous - October 14th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
Henry over Mascherano? You know nothing.
anonymous - October 15th, 2009 at 4:04 am
messi should not be number one cristiano is he shows it all the time and people complain for cris diving when messi does the same thing just runs into people
anonymous - October 15th, 2009 at 4:10 am
there are just too many things wrond with this they need to just put the top 100 and not rank them it causes too much contraversy, and after me doin my homework statistically speaking van der sar is better than julio cesar and cech, and i agree that messi dives in a diff way also
anonymous - October 15th, 2009 at 4:11 am
WTF!!! why is henry on here
anonymous - October 15th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
I don’t agree with the fact that Messi is regarded the best player. I think Cristiano Ronaldo has unbeatable athletic qualities than any other player at the world stage at the moment. He really deserves to be the No. 1 player.
anonymous - October 16th, 2009 at 11:53 am
Motta is vastly overated,
anonymous - October 16th, 2009 at 2:26 pm
Should the wo ronaldo’s be on female top 100 list?
anonymous - October 19th, 2009 at 2:30 pm
Ribery should be in the top 10 at least. Real
wanted to buy him for even more than they
did for Kaka!
anonymous - October 20th, 2009 at 10:37 am
wait
no tim cahill!!!
FUCKING BULLSHIT
anonymous - October 20th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
i dont concur with this spurious bloody list,in overall ability i would say ronaldo is allrounder impeccable;messi just has ball control.
anonymous - October 22nd, 2009 at 5:31 pm
Torres should be third, xavi and iniesta are not as composed, ronaldo should be number 1 , messi number 2, and gerrard should be around 4 -5 and maybe kaka 4 or 5. Drogba should be where ibrahimovic is and maybe vidic should be a bit lower ;p
anonymous - October 22nd, 2009 at 6:01 pm
for pure, natural football ability, Kaka surpasses everyone on this list.
most naturally gifted footballer of my generation behind zidane
anonymous - October 27th, 2009 at 6:50 pm
99% of the people commenting here have no idea about football. You are just English teams hooligans, not capable to make a fair judgement.
anonymous - October 28th, 2009 at 11:20 pm
hahaha, MESSI OVER RONALDO, what a joke, and xavi at number three hahahahaha, xavi barely ever does anything but make pretty good passes, so that gets you into the top 3 nowadays!!!! this is absolute BS, kaka over rooney, thats another cracker!!!
anonymous - November 6th, 2009 at 6:21 pm
what about Ashely Young?
what about A.Valencia?
what about quaresma?
FAT RONALDO STILL IN TOP 100 HA HA WHAT A JOKE!!

anonymous - November 7th, 2009 at 5:28 pm
Ferdinand should be nowhere near 12, gerrard should be 2 behind messi- i would love to see gerrard mark ronaldo as he would destroy him even though he isnt a defensive midfielder and mascherano should be in the top 15!! Where is Aquilani? Don’t even let me start on giggs in that list ! And Adebayor in the thirties!!!!!
anonymous - November 24th, 2009 at 9:29 am
Vidic should be top 17!!!!!!

Evra should be top 20!!!!!!

anonymous - November 24th, 2009 at 7:23 pm
where is puyol?!
anonymous - November 30th, 2009 at 8:49 pm
Seriously, Xavi has more than passes. Best ball control in the world, top of the line on set pieces, really good shot and lovely crosses. No wonder he made 34 assists last season. He dictates the pace in every game he’s in, and him winning the Euro 2008 which the likes of Gerrard and Lampard didn’t even qualify to + copa del rey, Champions League and La Liga shows for what a good player he is. And I’m not even a Barcelona fan, I am just a quite objective football fan.
Maybe not the third best player in the world, but maybe he is. It’s hard to decide. He’s a really, really capable player though and I think we Englishmen have a tendency to underrate players outside of the PL. La Liga isn’t that far behind, they have better teams in the bottom half although we have better teams in the upper half, except for Barcelona and Real Madrid who would compete really well.
anonymous - November 30th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
And I reckon Puyol should definitely be on the list, what an underrated player.
anonymous - November 30th, 2009 at 9:19 pm
waaaaaaaaaaaah why doesn’t anybody think about hugo lloris he’s quality and in my opinion one of the best keepers in the world and the best young keeper in the world (22 yrs old) if akinfeev can get in to around 90th, lloris can get to at least 75th (not dissin him he’s gd but just not as quality as lloris). Although i am half french so i cud be biased as i support france. Plz reply to see if any1 agrees or disagrees. BTW i agree, im shocked puyol isn’t on there, and also i agree xavi shud be there but i haven’t really noticed ppl saying he shudn’t be there, just ppl not talkin about him in general.
anonymous - December 2nd, 2009 at 6:47 am
u guys obviously don’t know what you are talking about if you think villa isn’t the best striker in the world. his stats show all
anonymous - December 4th, 2009 at 6:17 pm
I keep going over this list and still cant find Puyol?
Wheres Puyol? Did Pepe really have a better season than Puyol????????
anonymous - December 6th, 2009 at 12:26 pm
u would think that if buffon is the best keeper in the world then he would be higher than 34, ibra should be higher and im an arsenal fan but arsh isnt a better player than ribery. also navas is in the top 20 players in the world, the fact he has anxiety issues shouldnt restrict his rating on the international ratings
anonymous - December 29th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
You can see that most of comments are from UK(or people who only watches Premier League, FA Cup and UCL. Still wondering where is PUYOL?? or even Valdes should have make it to this list. Another thing is that Defensive players are truly underrated on every competition and listings. And Where is Albiol, IMO he is better than Pepe. And Where is Hyypiä dominating at Leverkusen. Or why is Zanetti on this list ? So many differend opinios and so much to say.
Top 5 should be :
1.Messi
2.Xavi
3. C.Ronaldo
4.Gerrard
5.Iniesta
