Tracked by clubs like Everton or Chelsea, the International Beninese PSG, Stéphane Sessegnon could eventually soar to Arsenal. Indeed, when asked about the growing interest of the London club for his client, the agent of former player of Le Mans, Kaba Rudy replied: “I think a transfer in January would be difficult because it goes play the African Cup of Nations with Benin. (…) Paris wants to keep him until the end of the season. The Premier League remains his favorite championship. I had contacts in Spain and that in Italy, but England is his preferred destination. If he leaves France, it will be to go there. In addition, all French and African players like to play for Arsène Wenger, but we’ll see next summer. ” (France Football)
Talented 25 year old midfielder Sessegnon has been trailed by Arsene Wenger for some time and to hear his agent state that Arsenal is apparently the Paris St Germain player’s ideal choice will probably start the speculation machine going overtime.
The Benin had scratched around the lower strata of the French football leagues up until last term when PSG brought him in from over achieving side Le Mans and now it appears he ahs set himself a target to move on once again with a move to the Premier League being his preferred choice.
After five years in France one can understand why the midfield playmaker is eager to try out a new challenge and the £11m rated star is sure to be on the Emirates radar.

He’s a good player, when I have seen him in action he has looked like a Muntari type player. Quick footballing brain, quite short but with good upper body strength.
