The two protagonists of the last meeting between these clubs – Arsenal’s Eduardo and Birmingham defender Martin Taylor – both miss out through injury.
Eduardo, who suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle in a tackle from Taylor, has a thigh problem.
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is fit, but Manuel Almunia remains doubtful with a chest infection.
Birmingham forward Cameron Jerome returns, but Christian Benitez missed his flight from South America.Arsenal
Suspended: None
Doubtful: Almunia (chest infection), Clichy (ankle), Nasri (fitness)
Injured: Denilson (back), Djourou (knee), Eduardo (thigh)Birmingham
Suspended: None Doubtful: Tainio (knee)
Injured/unavailable: Benitez (missed flight), Bent, Queudrue & Vignal (all hamstring), Fahey & Parnaby (unspecified), Murphy (knee), Martin Taylor (ankle) (BBC Sport)
Whilst I am indeed confident that we can ease past at determined Birmingham City side tomorrow I would remind any suffering complacent thoughts that home bankers are not quite so bankable these days for any of the Premier League ‘Elite’.
I am glad that this international break is over and no doubt so is Arsene Wenger who would’ve preferred not to have a ten day break off the back of six straight wins but hopefully the time off will not have an effect on our good run of form. Alex McLeish has instilled a good defensive backbone at the club and thus far they have not conceded more than twice in any of their ten league and cup games this season and they arguably didn’t deserve to lose either of their really tough away trips thus far, losing to solitary goals at Old Trafford and White Hart Lane.
My Prediction: 2-0 to Arsenal.

I am an arsenal fan.I just want to urge our boys to win the 2morows game.I in the past they had a tendency of loosing points to small teams hence costing them the league title. They should make sure they win so that they cover up in case they loose to big teams.
