Were not going to sign him, how can we as we do not have the funds. However, we could desperately do with back-up of his quality.

We definitely need a back up for gerrard have done for years and unfortunately our young midfielders are more defensive but would rather have someone younger at 31 too old.

Was stankovic ever serioulsy linked with a move to us before this goal, or did you see the goal, like it and use this story as a way of saying “wow what a goal”? I check all the footie rumours daily, this seems to be an under reported rumour.

stankovic is definitely the best midfielder in serie A for more than 10 years, was a champion of Serbia with Red star with only 16 years. he went to Lazzio with 19 won skudeto with Lazzio and already 4 times with Inter, for the third time he took Serbia to the World Cup , only to win the Champions League[ I feel that it would be with liverpool ] and that is definitely becoming one of the best midfielder player ever.
