Here is the draw for the World Cup Play-offs. Clearly many were rightly miffed by the decision to use seeding and here is the result of that decision. Home leg first for those named first.

Fifa is clearly corrupt, they fixed it to ensure France would not draw Portugal

to be honest, that certainly isnt the worst draw ireland could have got!!
france are a very beatable side, especially with that plank in charge.
only Greece out of the seeded teams would have been a better draw, although the atmosphere created there adds its own element.
even from the non-seeded teams its probably a better draw than Ukraine or Bosnia

The best draw for Ireland would have been Portugal who really are a poor side, completely overrated. Since 2004 they have been in decline and I think Ireland would have been too strong for them. They failed to beat a woeful England down to 10 in 2006, were well beaten by a fairly average German side in 2008 and struggled to qualify from the 2nd weakest group (Denmark won it easily which says everything) in Europe. As it is I think Bosnia will knock them out anyway. Still I prefer France to Russia. They have a maniac in charge and although they have great players they look very weak in terms of team spirit and belief. Russia have the best coach in the world and the best forward in the world. Greece would have been ok, but I would have been worried that the two sides would cancel each other out and would have need a shoot out. Overall France isn’t too bad, just wish it had been Portugal…

you guys are so naive, fifa will ensure france qualify in any way possible. the seeding was simply the first step.

i reckon Ireland, Bosnia and Ukraine will all go through. which will make a mockery of the seeding…
