This is what Football and the EPL are all about! Spurs attacked with a character and force that scared many an Arsneal fan but the Gunners were well worth the price of admission, as they took charge early on and dominated proceedings from one end of the pitch to the other. Would they have done the same if it had been at Whiteheart Lane…quite possibly, as they moved witha fluidity and grace that overwhelmed the rather feeble Tottenham defense. Gomes made a fanstastic one handed save off a shot by Van Persie early on or the scoreline would have been embarassing! How Arsenal fare against the other top 3 teams from now until the end of this season will determine who wins the EPL and the FA cup. So far so good…..

sorry mate i’m a fellow gooner but that whole comment was tripe! spurs attacked without ideas and looked to just pump it to crouch every time. but THEY not arsenal dominate the game for the first half. they rarelt threatened us but had the same amount pof chances. and before our 1st goal we were really starting to get pushed off the pitch. our pasing became erratic and both song and diaby looked like they were about to completely give up.
also we have done very well against the rest of the top four in the last couple seasons but it has had no bearing on our trophy cabinet come may. its letting west ham come back form two down that costs us.
harry got his game plan spot on but while they controlled mid field they had nothing up front to worry us. they missed kodric and lennon but of course with these players included they’d have loosened their grip on midfield and we’d have hammered them anyway – maybe just without the clean sheet. that is our superiority.
but i think every gooner was getting a little uncomfortable at our lack of reactiuon to there control of the middle of the park, but as teams full of technical wizzards do – we found a way. after cescs entry for goal of the season it was game over. spurs gave up in midfield and continued mto offer nothing up front.
i’m very happy at our progress this season. we’ve yet to really string a few top top performances together, but the victories – and goals – are rolling in! good times. with rosicky, denilson, theo to come back, and hopefully first contributions from vela to come its looking good.
liverpool are now under big pressure for fourth place and we can free ourselves from that usual battle and push for the top.
