Watching Arsenal demolish their opponents over the last few games with such ease and fluidity gives me pause for joy and concern. Their depth is apparent and their ability to interchange players and still up their game is a great reassurance for the remainder of the season. However, their tendency to concede late goals continues and in tight games, could really hurt them in the EPL. They haven’t met decent opposition in the Champion’s League yet and if they want to win it all, they’ll have to finish far tighter and ruthlessly than they have been doing. Clearly their goalkeeping is superior, their back four and midfield are phenomenal and their attacking play against inferior opposition is devastating. The proof is in the pudding so their capacity to do the same to teams of equal or “superior” pedigree will etermine this season’s high or low points. so far, so good!!!
