Will Manchester United Striker Rooney Be Punished for This? (Video)
by Mr Neutral on November 9th, 2009 89 words | 9 commentsI have to say that I have every sympathy for Man United over the way they were essentially handed a defeat by the officials at Stamford Bridge and I think that Wayne Rooney’s response, see below as he mouths “12 men” on camera, was pretty calm when compared to Didier Drogba’s insane rant following Chelsea’s match with Barcelona last season. Thanks to the excellent Republik of Mancunia for bringing this to our attention.

Well at least he was saying the truth. The performance of the referee ( if you want to call him that) deserved nothing else. Referees should not be allowed to get away with that sort of behaviour. You could see that he was Chelsea’s 12 man. 2 penalites not given and a goal which was not a goal. What else can one say *Great Performance* I think not.

It should be a shame for English FA that they have only one good ref, the only good one is at Nigeria, what a shame.
Now tell me who’s right, Is it Ferguson or the referee
1. same referee officiated united vs Portsmouth [FA cup]
2. same referee officiated united vs sunder land [premier league]
3. now Chelsea vs united and all the referee’s officiating were so poor.
I think the FA board are incompetent because they employed an incompetent referee.
the should watch the match again , bow his head in shame and resign.

Chelsea deserved to win this match. Man u just can’t stand to loose. I didn’t see them crying in the Manchester Derby when they scored in the 97th minute.

Why do all Man U supporters fail to mention Evans malicious attack on Drogba, which didnt get him a red card and a penalty to Chelsea?

Scum face Rooney and his drunken manager are the worst possible examples for common deceny, bad news for England and Scotland, all the years the officials have assisted them in winning trophies, hopefullly that has now come to an end.
