granted he is not the best goal scorer, but he works unblelievebly hard and can be very clever. he is one of our best players if not the best.

voronin …. wat a joke. when hes on the pitch he looks clueless. he never seems to be in space from where he can actually create a chance, on the rare occasion he does he shoots like the nets 2 meters wide and his first touch can be compared to a baby elephant. release him please.

in my oppinion bringin in pav on loan coudnt be any worse than keeping on voronin. granted that pav hasnt been prolific since joining tot he still has scored some clever goals and has been unlucky with how thigs have turned out for him. at worst hell come to us and be a flop, still wouldnt cost us much, weve nothing to loose anymore.

we should keep babel, hes been showing some promise of late, dossena should go for 5-6 mil, i rate aurelio good left wing back, lucas very average at best a fringe player if that and sell agger ! yes hes good but hes so prone to injury get some dosh for him !

i love the idea of van der vaart he is quality but i doubt hell come if were in this state in january. not so happy with the thought of cole dont rate him but i thought the same of crouch at this stage when there was talk of him, but was proved wrong. i just hope we can turn this around cause its breaking my heart.

Having thought this over i think that we should not bring any players in ,in this up coming transfer window, but instead, tough it out and use the players that we have(After selling players like Babel and Voronin). Review the team at the end of the season and make our moves then ….. I worried if we don’t we will end up with more players like Voronin and Babel ……..

he was an attacking midfielder and he hasnt lost that abilty, its there bubbling waiting to shine again, but now he has added a new biting dimension to his game , i actually believe he will become the complete midfielder if given a chance, and maybe this has been rafa s plan all along, work on the inferior side of hs game til gerrard is past it, i truly believe lucas will be in the top three prem midfielders within two years and potentially the best within four or five

as a square peg in a round hole lucas has adapted pretty well to breaking up play and tackling , he has become quite good at it, something very positive i would think in his longterm all round development, and it does speak volumes that he can adapt to a new psoition so well and make mascherano someone whose game is styled as adefensive midfielder look inferior in this position, i d love to see him get a few goals and explode onto the scene properly
