Barcelona will offer Yaya Toure and Bojan Krkic to Arsenal in order to clinch the signing of Cesc Fabregas it was reported today.

The Arsenal captain has long been linked with a return to the club he left as a 16-year-old, and reports in Spain suggest a deal will be completed in the summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is determined to hold on to his captain but Barcelona believe that offering the two players, who Wenger is known to admire, plus cash, will be enough to sway the Frenchman.

Both Yaya Toure, the brother of former Gunner Kolo, and Krkic have fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona.

Fabregas has made it clear he has no intentions of leaving Arsenal, but despite this the rumours linking him with the Nou Camp refuse to disappear.

It has also been reported in Spain that Real Madrid could come in for 22-year-old Fabregas with an offer approaching £50m. (Independent)

Barcelona continue to attempt to unsettle Arsenal skipper by making rather clear tapping up attempts to lure back their former youth team graduate but on this occasion they do at least have the decency to make a decent offer for the Spanish midfielder.

The two players that the Catalan giants are willing to offer both have the potential to be of interest to Arsene Wenger but are still not likely to encourage the Gunners boss to even consider selling up the club’s prized asset.

Bojan Krkic is a hot prospect who has the footballing world at his feet. The 19 year old is a full international and whilst on the periphery of the first team picture at the Nou Camp still appears to be a legend in the making. Yaya Toure is a player who has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Emirates as many have seen the defensive midfielder as a logical player who would greatly suit Wenger to play alongside Cesc Fabregas, giving him more time and space on the ball.

Essentially I don’t think any move for Cesc Fabregas boils down to money I simply do not see Arsenal ever considering selling their captain and a move would only occur if the player himself pushed for it and I don’t see that happening either regardless of what the Spanish club have to offer.
