Egypt Vs Algeria: How Did FIFA Allow This Farce To Occur?

You just knew it, everyone in the stadium knew it, everyone watching from home knew it, everyone who has any interest in the game of football knew it, so why the hell are FIFA seemingly doing nothing about it? What am I talking about? I am talking about the goings on ahead and during the crunch World Cup encounter between Egypt and Algeria. You know, the one where a third of the Algerian team took to the pitch in bandages having come under attack the moment their team coach left the Cairo airport.
Let’s forget for a moment the fact that if such an attack had taken place for example in England then you would expect FIFA to come out fighting with angry rhetoric and more than likely a fine or some sort of ban or perhaps a bit of both, lets concentrate instead on the fact that the referee officiating the game between the two hated rivals, South African Jerome Damon, decided to add six minutes of injury time for no apparent reason.
There were no long stoppages, hardly any time wasting and yet in an act that would have made Sir Alex Ferguson wince, the fourth official held up a board that stated six minutes, but might as well have read “Keep playing until Egypt score otherwise there will be a riot”. Oh did I also mention that the goal was offside with two perhaps even three players, coming back from an offside position before the goal was scored, presumably the linesman was not to keen on waving his flag for fear of reprisal or perhaps he honestly failed to see the plethora of red shirted players clearly ahead of all Algerian defenders. If you want to see just how OFFSIDE the goal was CLICK HERE.
Quite what will happen when the two sides meet again on Wednesday, this time in Sudan and this time playing for keeps. Its sure to be a titanic struggle but you do have to wonder why nothing appears to be being done about the way in which this farce was allowed to happen. FIFA as an organization has for a long time been considered an impotent governing body who is only able to offer petty fines rather than upset any leading international football association, by the way ever wondered where those fines go? One big jolly for Sepp Blatter and his cohorts no doubt.
It’s laughable how it appears no one will be punished for the way in which the visiting Algerians were treated on arrival on Egyptian soil, almost as laughable as the attempts by some to claim that the attack on the coach was in some way fabricated. Some had rather obtusely stated that the attack on the players had actually been staged and that the rocks had been hurled from the bus itself, this of course defied modern science on about sixteen different levels for how the hell, or perhaps more importantly why, would they fling rocks within the coach and how then did they injure themselves? Oh yes, and how do you account for the hundreds of Egyptian supporters ahead, behind and to the sides of the coach who were clearly throwing rocks at the bus (as evidenced on many videos that can all be found on a little website called Youtube CLICK HERE to see just one such video).
The final indignity, although perhaps this one is purely coincidental, is the location for the tie breaking match between these two sides. Have you taken a look at a world map recently? If not, look for a nice picture of the continent of Africa. Stick a pin where Algeria is, then stick a pin where Egypt is then place one in Sudan and tell me which country will find the trek to Omdurman on the outskirts of Khartoum. Here is a world map to help you CLICK HERE.
I think you will find that whilst Sudan lies directly to the south of BORDERING Egypt the Algerians will have to make their way from Algiers a distance of 3743 Kilometers away. Now the team could decide to stay in nearby Cairo but no doubt the security implications of doing so would be horrendous so they will have had to return home and then set off once again on a trip to this crucial match which is significantly longer than a journey from London to Moscow.
One can only hope that when they arrive in Sudan the Algerians will be greeted warmly and that on this occasion the officiating will be impartial, balanced and in no way favour either team in any fashion. One too can only hope that FIFA investigates this whole mess and deals with the whole fiasco in the way a governing body should.

Fantastic article. Spot on. Couldn’t agree more. Why is the decider being played so near to one country and so far from another? Surely that is blatantly unfair?
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:32 pm
You really should have watched the match before making such wildly inaccurate comments about the extra time. 6 minutes was the very least that should have been given. Watch the match again! The Algerian goal keeper got a yellow card for time wasting. There is nothing wrong with time wasting strategically. The Algerians would have gone through if the 1-0 score line held to the end. Egypt would have done the same…
Your poor, inaccurate writing about the extra time is only surpassed by your comments about Sudan. Of course it is better for Egypt to play in Sudan, compared to Tunisia (which was Algeria’s choice!). It was a draw and Egypt won. No need to make it look like a fifa conspiracy..! Stop posting such rubbish and do us all a favour!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:33 pm
I only agree that the goal might have been offside. It’s difficult to tell by the youtube video. It was close that’s for sure. But before you say that it was SURELY offside, you have to know the rules. You clearly do not. Firstly, it doesn’t matter if anyone except the goal scorer was offised because noone, except the goal scorer interfered with the play. Also there were 2 algerian defenders running back. and from the camera angle, it is not possible to be 100% sure that this was offside when the player hit the ball to the goal scorer.
The other thing is, how is it clear that the Egyptians were throwing rocks? That video isn’t clear at all. You cannot see anything. You can only hear people screaming. You see some people outside the bus walking but again, it’s difficult to be 100% sure they are throwing. FIFA centainly did not think it was a big problem, otherwise they would have acted better. They have better credibility that you and me because they were there investigating!
About picking the country, this is random and was picked before the game was played. There is no conspiracy, especially not in favor of Egypt… did you by any chance look at our world cup qualification record? I don’t think there is a conspiracy, otherwise we would have made the world cup more often. Or not gotten difficult groups 4 years ago and 8 years ago…. Maybe there is a conspiracy against Algerians.. but i don’t know about that…
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
You are stupid idiot? I don’t care if Egypt goes to world cup or not, but the Algerian don’t deserve to go any where! you know why because they are ignorant hatred like you.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:39 pm
Sudan (Egypt’s choice) was chosen as one of two options in a coin toss. the other was tunisia (chosen by algeria). take a look at the same world map to find out where Tunisia is in relevance to Algeria. So stop the whining. if what the attacks had truly happened, why did Algeria go on with the match. why did it insist on playing with allegedly “injured players”. you do have substitues… you know?
it would’ve been also nice to mention that the egyptian team was not welcomed at belieda in the first leg, not to mention the incident when an egyptian player lost an eye to a fellow algerian player in a previous match
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:49 pm
Ban all all terrorist sympathisers
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:52 pm
How Egypt can still be allowed to continue after their supporters threw rocks and drew blood from the Algerian players is beyond human comprehension. Surely they must be punished for this cowardly and hateful act.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
My heart is with the Desert Foxes – 3-0 Algeria for the win!!!!!!! No matter what people try to say or do to these players, they will be strong and fast.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
incredible ho people can deny that the algerian players were attacked. it i the behavior of a people that unfortunately lives under a strong dictatorship and used to brainwashing nu surprise there. Those are sports people how ca the be treated like that? it is extremely sad and something has to be done we can’t even try to accept the argument that they did it to themselves what proof do people need??
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:10 pm
no matter who is writing this article,……… but it’s the truth that the goal was offside….
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
well sir with all due respect…….
i have seen the videos from different angles……
the first goal was definately not offside……
and the second goal was scored by the only onside egypyian player…….in the box…..
the refree could have given offside as the ball was directed to 3 egyptian players..
but it would be harsh as the 2 hu were offside didnt interfere with the play……
it was a direct header…
but fifa should have awarded the match to algeria as the players got stoned.
i am from asia……to tell the truth i would like to see both egypt and algeria in the world cup……both teams are such a treat to watch……
TrueBlues - November 16th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Let me summarise the whole article.
FIFA are a bunch of cheating cxxts.
They only punish british related clubs.
They just sxxxs.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:40 pm
Algeria deserve to go to the world cup,the fifa is responsible for this mess.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
I watched the game and there was barely any time wasting by the Algerians at all. The Egyptians claiming that their players were poisoned in Algeria are just liars. Come on Algeria beat the scum!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Great article, well written and totally correct. The only thing i would take issue to was the coin toss for the neutral venue, knowing the Egyptians they probably cheated to win that as well. come on Algeria!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Egypt are cheats
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
Dear Sir,
With all my respect to your opinion and this wonderfull article, my opinion is that you are the dumbest person i see in my life,
how the hell you could say that 6 min extra time is not fair was you watching your mother cooking while algerian players sleeps at the ground and acting with the refree only smiling and waits untill every single player gets up again,
and where the hell were been when the line man was talking very bad desicions , i think either you are stupid or stupid.
and for that stupid vedio in you tube , i have to laugh becuase all the people beside the bus was walking not running to follow the bus you stupid guy, and why the one who holds the mobile didn’t shot any one with a rock and where is the blood ,
finally i will give you an advice stop writing because you are very stupid to write anything.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 1:59 pm
I think the most beautifull thing at the match is the algerian girl at the end of the match, if all algerian girls the same as this one, so all algerian girls is fukin hot bitches
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:08 pm
A THIRD OF THE TEAM? THERE IS ABOUT 25 PEOPLE THAT PARTAKE TO REPRESENT A COUNTRY ONLY 3 PEOPLE GOT INJURED THE FOURTH WAS ON HIS RIGHT ARM HE ONLY HAD A BAND AID. IF THREE PEOPLE IS A THIRD OF 25 THEN I AM A RETAERD. 6 MINUTES ADDED TIME FOR NO REASON? THE ALGERIAN WERE FALLING ON THE GROUND LIKE RAIN DROPS AND TIME WASTING WAS EVIDENT AS THE KEEPER EVEN RECEIVED A YELLOW CARD FOR ATTEMPTING TO DO SO…. I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT THE ARTICLE TO BE REVIEWED AS IT IS PROMOTING WRONG FACTS!!!!!!!!!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:09 pm
Why Egyptian media did not show the videos? How come Algerian players would hurt 3 of important players? The bus driver who gave a stetement on Egyptian tv was not the real drive it’s clear that was another person, plus why would a minister and a consular stetment not taken in consideration and believe a liar who the Egyptian media paid to give a fauls stetment? This is realy desapoiting but the truth will come out shortly as big French Canal plus were there and have everything filmed, will see then your fanatic reaction
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
The Algerians flew direct to Sudan. The location was selected by a toss by FIFA. The author should check out the video clips of this and other previous games where Algerian players were caught on tape cutting themselves so they can cancel this and other games.
For anyone this sounds ludicrous but unfortunately it’s absolutely true, the players would actually hurt themselves to call off the game than play it.
The game itself was clean and you can watch the match and see if there was any violations during the game.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
What a terrible, biased article… You are truly a journalistic and intellectual pygmy.
As an Egyptian it saddens me to see this tension between the two countries. May the best team win on Wednesday… If Algeria go through, I will be supporting them over anyone else in the world cup – I’m sure they will make us proud if Egypt doesn’t make it.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
come down guys .. i think algeria team, media can have better chance in cinema than worldcup .. i advice
1) try to remove the hate from you.
2) focus in playing not spend 90% of ur time showing how other hate you,
3) we all know how education level of Algerian so i advice improve education system as sport system ..
4) Algerian fan starts with saying bad words and actions ..
5) stop this teasing actions and you get respect from all
i really hope to all the best..
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:39 pm
Is any sane person seriously denying that Egyptian fans threw rocks at the bus? If you deny this then you are an idiot.
Someone earlier stated that the player who scored the header was onside but two of his teammates were offside needs to learn the rules of the game. The two who were offside were clearly interfering with play as they would have blocked the view of the keeper and also occupied defenders attentions when they were in fact miles offside.
I watched the WHOLE game, Algeria didn’t time waste anywhere near enough to allow six minutes of time added on.
Anyone who disagrees with these obvious points is clearly biased. Egypt were the better team on Saturday that was clear but it is also clear that an Algerian team who has had two players with serious head wounds prior to the game is going to have a disadvantage, the game should have at least been delayed by a day to allow the players to recover.

Sir, I propose you change your name from Mr. Neutral at least for the purpose of ensuring any validity pertaining to this “quite neutral” article.
- Sudan was picked by a coin toss but hey maybe FIfa and Egypt are in cahoots
- There is not one clear video that shows how much rocks were thrown but eventhough why would the coach play the three that were supposedly injured
- The injury time really? So the Ref inexplicably gave the Algerian GK a yellow card for nothing and all the Algerian players who hit the grass after every Egyptian attempt on goal in the last 20 minutes of the 2nd half were justified.
Further you should read into the first round game as well as the 1989 double clash before you check why the leaves are rotten you are adviced to examine the roots.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:40 pm
Egypt cheated simple as that. But no matter they will lose on Wednesday. The whole world wants Algeria to win as they deserve to represent Africa and Egypt do not.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 2:47 pm
Egypt didn’t cheat… Both teams played very well. The ref was poor but understandably given the buildup. He had bad decisions against the Egyptian players in the 1st half (at least the linesman was)… This is expected and is fine. Algerians wasted time and the goal may have been offside… The head injusries of teh Algerians were not serious, but the Egyptians are wrong to let this happen in the first place.
I don”t think the world wants Algeria to win… Look what they did to Marseille.. Look what they are doing to Egyptian businesses in Algeria! Both sides look very bad in the eyes of the world.

I really feel sorry that a just game turn out to be a political between two respected countries. what make it even worth that bouth egyptian and algerian governments started accusing each other using their medias. wake up people (Egyptian & Algerian) and don’t let your governments use you and brain wash you. did we librated our occupied land ??? tell your presidents open the border to fight our real enemy instead of sending thousands from both country to Sudan for free.
may Allah help us all. AAAAAAAAAAAAAMMEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNN.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:07 pm
What a ridiculous article. Did you even watch the game?
How on earth was the 2nd goal offside? The only Egyptian players who are deemed offside, did not interfere with play, whatsoever. The guy who scored, WAS NOT OFFSIDE – hence the decision to let the goal stand!!
With regards to the stoning, no one actually knows what happened – thus its stupid to take sides, the video shows NOTHING, just screams and bad filming! Also, if you know anything about the French and Algerians, you’ll understand why a FRENCH company (the reporters were probably originally Algerian).
With regards to the players – why on earth would Algeria play such an important match with injured players. Why, in one of the videos, does an Algerian player have blood ALL over his head. with none on his shirt – and why is a medic not treating him? These guys ARE still prof football players.
At the same time – have you not heard what the Algerian fans have done to the Egyptians. Attacking Egyptians and Egyptian companies in Algeria, burning of the Egyptian flags (in Marseille) – and lets not forget the Algerian hacker who placed a star of david in the place of the Egyptian Eagle on the Egyptian Football Association’s website. Ridiculous!!!!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:10 pm
(Egyptian boy) Say what u want about Egypt , insult it as u like , we have treated u very well and u all know that very well , but wanna cover ur defeat in Cairo Stadium and prepare to cover ur next defeat which will be in Sudan ,18 , Nov
i say to u , do u forget what u made in ur country ,first match ?
Egypt is better than u and u know so , so for me we have equal chance , and the better side will win and go to South Africa , i hope Egypt win , but if u won , i will support Algeria in World Cup . Enough plz , it`s enough .
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
the egyptos have blood in their hands. they will get a taste of their own medicine, mark my word.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:31 pm
as an egyptian if we cheated we wll cheat again as anyway if we win u wont have any other excuses. Not beeing able to use ur matchballs by winning against rwanda more than just 3-1 and now not beeing able to bring home a 2goal lead over egypt weil well well u had missed ur 2matchpoints now we are on a run and nothin can stop us we didnt fight back from 3rd in the group to loose now. But egypt wont waste such chances algeria stay at home in sudan we will be even stronger
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:41 pm
This is a shame!
First, the president of the egyptian federation encouraging on TV the fans to do “whatever they want to the algerians (players and fans)”. He was well seconded by their most famous egyptian journalists. This is a clear violation of the FIFA rules. Those people have responsibilities, they have to go by deontology and the rules from FIFA but they decided to behave like hooligans!
The egyptian authority took an active part in the coward attack as they simply did not protect the players and fans in spite of the warning from the FIFA a week earlier!
Then, those who think this attack didn’t happen, you really have an issue to take care of! The media around the world who are for noone couldn’t believe it and were stunned by egyptians saying it’s a conspiracy.
As for such a game, 90% is in the head of the players. How did you want the algerian players to be fit after what happened to them. Many independent football consultans (most of them former professionals) are shocked and said this game should have been played! They all blamed the FIFA for doing nothing but also the egyptian federation and authorities. This is cheating! It’s a crime!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
From the comment above, read:
independent football consultans (most of them former professionals) are shocked and said this game should have NEVER been played!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Drogba once said:
“When you play in Egypt, it is not a football game, it’s war…”
egyptains play dirty tricks before the game to get an advantage. They are cheaters!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:48 pm
FIFA, where are you?
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
Fifa is corrupt organization under the influence of Egyptian bribes.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:56 pm
I had always suspected Egypt was rigging African competitions and games because they influence CAF, but with this debacle in Cairo of violence and cheating: there is not a bit of doubt in my mind FIFA is supporting Egypt and they are both cheating their way to the world cup 2010.
Sickening, Egypt should have been banned/suspended for at least two years.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 3:58 pm
I am from Ivory Cost and I agree: Egyptians are cheaters!
Go Algeria!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
That part of the world is packed with hypocrisy. They call each other brothers but slaughter one another at every opportunity and hopefully this event is going to change things in Algeria. We are closer to Europe than to the bedouin twats still taking confort in their 4000 years maconnery. There will be 20.000 algerians in Sudan ( I saw some of them leaving and they seemed of the worst kind ) so grab your popcorn. I think they know it’s all over and they wanna be disqualified with a bang. A bit of Millwall in there.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Why did you mention that the Algerian burned the Egyptian Flag and Egyptain Team Jersies in Algeria. You also failed to mention that Egyptian teams were beaten by fans and Algerian Police many times. Do you remember Mediterranean tournament ? Did the picture of the Algerian girl at the end of the game remind of something.
Six minutes were a lot less than the time the Algerian player wasted.
I think you are a sore looser Algerian. Do you remmeber Baloomy and his court case?
I hope another win this week will shut people like you up for good.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:17 pm
Egyptian, this wasn’t the first time u stonned fans u have done b4 against other African teams, I don’t know why can’t u pull ur hands up and admit ur hostility against Algerian players and fan…..
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
I think Egyptians should stop adding comments on this article. It seems that this guy wrote thie article to attract us to answer and make his article popular and that how he makes money.
He gets more gooogle adds on his site and wins. If we stop commenting will deaft him on his own game as we deafteed the Algerian.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
Algerian players were harassed by Egyptian fans and played the game, and will do better in Sudan trust me they gladiators and u all will witness it
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
egyptians think that attacking fans & players is part of the game. All teams going to egypt complain about that: ask Tunisia, Zimbabwe, Ivory Coast, etc….
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
Yeah true u won ur game by cheating and u can’t even justfy it.. Coz ur corrupt lol go to hell cheaters
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 5:27 pm
I am beyond disgusted whith what the Egyptians did to our people! How dare they go as far as MURDER?? Don’t they know what they just started? Don’t they know how crazy Algerians are? They messed with the WRONG people! as if cheating wasn’t enough…I wonder what they would have done if they actually lost (as they should have). What would they have done then??
This is supposed to be a GAME! Talk about taking it too far! I will NEVER see Egyptians the same way..Now, it will be with disgust!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 5:48 pm
Anyone who still in denial of the attack on the Algerian team should watch the following video.
Go straight to 1:40 and look at the big rocks flying on the top of the bus.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msMQ1JGnwSI
The Egyptians cannot win any other way than by cheating, just look at their position in the olympics. 80 millions of good for nothing retards.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 5:50 pm
Did you see all the police that were securing you guys the whole time you were in Egypt, yes we egyptians hate you fucks because of all the shit you say like this. Your acting as if we were soo welcomed when we went to algeria. were we..?? The ref was a dick on saturday he called so many fouls on us that were bullshit and even the linesmen, you really think they helped us. 4 of ur players were all faking being so hurt during the game getting off the pitch taking their sweet ass time, soo much time wasted, we definetly deserved 6 mins. You guys are just sore losers seriously. and we definetly gave you the security you needed trust me, 20 algerians injured.. out of 2000?? their are so many conspiracies about the video but actually no one knows shit… if there wasnt that many security forces up your ass all the time wherever the fuck you go. there would of been a massacre believe me.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 6:14 pm
what a load of crap!
the Algerian fanatic propaganda is pathetic, they are losing it because 3 months ago they thought they already qualified but now Egypt did climb the mountain and the Algerians were terrified and knew they couldn’t win this in the field after Egypt gained massive momentum so they made the most silly play ever…the imaginary stone throwing attack….forensic investigation proved that the bus glass was broken from INSIDE the bus…..and the three players with concussion played the game 2 days earlier
)) shame on you
with this childish play they were desperate for a decision to move the game to a neutral country because they knew they had no chance in Cairo stadium and they were right, the Egyptian fans should be credited with this magnificent yet difficult win for they didn’t stop supporting their team until the very last second….and i am proud i was one of those supporters last Saturday

anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 6:30 pm
Good day guys,
As a person of half Algerian and Egyptian roots it saddens me to see all that is happening and being said because of a football match, even if it is for a spot in the WC. Firstly, I would like to say that there is no need for people to be cursing each other out, as it does not draw us any closer in any way.
Now for my comments on the situation at hand. The problem is that people write things without fully knowing the facts. So here, to the best of my knowledge are the facts.
1. FIFA asks each Federation where they would like to play a decider, if one was to be played. Algeria chose Tunisia, while Egypt chose Sudan. Then they chose, out of a hat, for a lack of a better statement, one of the 2 countries that were picked by the teams. Egypt happened to win, so Sudan was chosen as the venue. Had Tunisia been chosen, Algeria would have had a way greater advantage than Egypt has playing in Sudan, as Tunisia is virtually part of Algeria. So, there was no FIFA bias involved.
2. In the qualification for the 1994 WC, Egypt won a game against Zimbabwe in Cairo. The victory put Egypt in the WC. However, Zimbabwe protested that there was fan interference at the time of the goal, where fans were throwing rocks. FIFA decided to replay the game in Lyon, France, and the game ended in a tie, hence knocking Egypt out of the spot that they had previously claimed a couple of weeks back in Cairo. There for sure wasn’t any bias there.
3. In 1989 (for the 1990 WC qualifiers), in Cairo, Algeria and Egypt played a game where the winner booked their ticket to the WC. Egypt won that game 1-0 and won their place in the 1990 WC in Italy. After the game, the Algerian team ran towards the Egyptian ‘dugout’, and a brawl ensued, where an Algerian player threw a bottle which resulted in the Egyptian doctor losing an eye. This player ended up having an international warrant for his arrest, which was only resolved years later through diplomatic means.
4. In 2001, in Algeria, Egypt and Algeria clashed again, with Egypt having more at stake, as they had a berth to the 2002 WC at play (it was the last game in the group, just as the game this past Saturday was), while Algeria had nothing at stake as they only had a mere 2 points in the group In about the 60th min Egypt was awarded a penalty, which was converted. At the time of the goal Egypt were through to the WC. However, as soon as the goal was scored, the game was stopped for over 20 mins because Algerian fans were pelting the field and the Egyptian players’ dugout, which cause a few injuries and a couple of people on the Egyptian required stitches. FIFA rules state that if any game is stopped for more than 15 minutes due to fan violence the referee should stop the game and award the other team a 3-0 victory. This did not happen. Whats more, Algeria ended up tying the game and Egypt were consequently knocked out of the WC. Egypt appealed to FIFA, but that appeal fell on deaf ears as FIFA rejected Egypt’s protest. Again, this is not a sign that FIFA is/was siding with Egypt. In addition to this, the Egyptian bus was totally destroyed. I am not going to put a link, but for those who are interested feel free to google this. A final point about this, at the time I was living in France (my wife is French) and in all the papers before the game, an Algerian player, who I won’t name, made assurance to his Senegalese teammate that all would be done to ensure that Egypt would not advance to the WC and that they would do all in their power to make sure that Senegal would be the team to qualify from their group. Senegal had an easy game at the same time against Namibia.
5. Finally to the supposed incidents of last Thursday. I can’t and will not say that there was no violence and that a handful of Egyptian fans destroyed the bus carrying the Algerian team and delegation. There were Algerian players that were or looked injured, and I actually could deny that some fans in Egypt would actually do this. However, like some of the post suggests, the video is inconclusive. It does not show any great hurling of rocks onto the bus, so nobody can say that from the video you can for sure tell that that is what is happening. Again, I am fully behind the fact that some Egyptian fans would be capable of doing this. However, this was over 48 hours before the match, and unlike the incidents that happened on the field in 2001, in Algeria, that directly affected the match, what happened had no direct effect on the match that was played last Saturday. Again, I am by no means condoning what took place, if indeed that is what happened, but the outcome was played out on the field. Now many people on this post are ‘disgusted’ by what happened and say there should have been a ban or change of venue or whatever, but if we look at FIFA’s record they have very rarely if ever have done this, and in one of their rare incidents that they did do it, it cost Egypt a place in the 1994 WC.
6. The ‘disputed’ offside goal. I don’t have to go very far in history to give an example of a goal that was somewhat similar to the 2nd Egyptian goal that was scored on Saturday. 2 Sundays ago, my beloved MU was playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, where John Terry scored a header that gave Chelsea a 1-0 win over MU. The first argument is that it shouldn’t even have been a free kick. Secondly, from different angles it appeared that Drogba was offside. Third it looked like, if he was indeed offside, he interfered with the play. And finally, he also had fouled Wes Brown which should have resulted in a free kick the other way. My point is that it could have, should have, would have been called, but it wasn’t which resulted in Chelsea winning the game by that margin. This is a game, a sport and things like this will happen; sometimes the call will be right and sometimes it might not be right, but we have a referee on the pitch and he has to make the ultimate decision, agree with it or not. And sometimes it will go your teams way, and sometimes it will not (like Chelsea’s goal vs MU for me), but we have to accept it and move on. There is no need to cuss and whine and fight about it cause it will not change the decision.
7. About the additional time. I have to say that Algeria did waste time. Now whether it was 6 minutes worth or not, only the referees know (the head official and the 4th official on the sideline). The only issue that should have been stated was that if Egypt was given more than the time that was given on the board initially, which they didn’t. They scored in the time that was given (in the 5th minute of the additional time). Had they scored and there were 7 minutes gone and they had only given 6 then there would be a fair argument. So let’s say that the referee was bias to Egypt, how did he know that by giving Egypt 6 minutes that they would score. After all, they couldn’t score in over 90, official time 88 (after scoring in the opening 2 minutes). Had he awarded a penalty or something then maybe there would be something to talk about.
For me it is quite difficult, because I had my pops on one side of the couch and my mom on the other side of the couch cheering for opposite teams, and believe me it was quite awkward at the end, but hey they each have another chance to see who is the better side, and on Wednesday we will see who that is.
And after all that was said, I bet all of you think that I am cheering for Egypt, well keep guessing. I just try to be open minded and honest about how the situation is.

Extremely one-sided article, and one devoid of any knowledge of the history of this rivalry. Are you aware of how many times FIFA has turned a blind eye to Algerian violence at Egypt’s expense? As we speak, Algerians are attacking Egyptians and destroying Egyptian offices and buildings in Algeria: http://www.filgoal.com/English/News.asp?NewsID=61608
2001 – The Egyptian team bus was viciously attacked in Algeria ahead of a 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier. The match itself was stopped on three seperate occasions due to fan violence, namely hurling projectiles at Egyptians on the pitch in the form of bottles filled with urine. FIFA didn’t help Egypt.
1989 – Algerian player Lakhdar Belloumi took the Egyptian team doctor’s eye out, leaving him half blind. An incident so severe that Interpol got involved. But FIFA again ignored justice for the Egyptians.
1984 – Algerian players beat-up Egyptian players on the pitch near the end of their 1984 Olympic Games qualifier.
Know the facts and the history of this conflict before making such silly, sweeping statements.

Awesome article! Right on! I’m still shocked by the whole thing. Algeria had the adventage (2 goals and 3 points ahead) the Egyptians knew that they couldn’t win on the field so they decided to help their team win by other means and unfortunately it worked. They left the Algerian convoy with no security in front of thousands of crazed hooligans. It was reported in the egyptian media that the head of the Egyptian soccer federation asked Egyptian fans to use all means to intimidate Algerians! Anybody who’s been following the events before the match will understand that the agression was premeditated. It sickens me to see the FIFA do nothing for this while they banned Maradonna from coaching for months just for insulting comments he made!
PS. if u followed the other matches u’ll understand that it’s not the 1st time Algeria gets robbed and Egypt gets helped by referees. watch the match between Algeria- rwanda where the referee refused like 3 Algerian goals!

WHAT KIND OF COUNTRY WELCOME A TEAM LIKE THAT LMFAO EGYPTIAN IDIOTS!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 6:56 pm
To the writer of this article: Thank you for stating what a lot of us are thinking. you will have a lot of egyptians here putting you down . They will also accuse the other side of violence just like they accused the Algerian team of beating up each other and injuring themselves. It’s all propaganda to make themselves look like the victim.
I invite you to do research about egyptian history with other teams. They beat up Tunisians, Moroccans, Algerians and other Africans every time they had to play a decisif match in their country! as the French coach of the Ivory coast said” it’s a habit for egyptians to intimidate the opposing teams. However this time they went TOO FAR! Shame on the FIFA for letting them get away with it every time!
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
I will be honest, I am from one of these 2 counties, reagardless which one!, I think everyone is giving this too much attention, both teams whoever wins will go and get beat as usuall from the first round, so why are you guys fighting over it, it is really sad to see how we can fight eah other over minor BS,

honestly its a waste of time arguing with you guys over t his, whoever wrote the last comment needs to relax, as these 2 teams suck! lol. this is a joke

If anything, FIFA should have cancelled Egypt’s game in Algeria after the Egyptians were poisoned at the Algerian hotel. Unlike Algerians in Cairo, 2 players missed the game and 2 others played while ill.
“Farce”? You mean the staged play the Algerians orchestrated? Forensics already supported the Egyptians’ story. End of story, liars.
If only FIFA cancelled every game because a team smashed its bus windows from the inside, cut their scalps and put on bandages. Nice one.
Algerians came with their own chefs. A non-precedent behavior. They know what they did in Algeria to the Egyptians.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 8:28 pm
fucking egyptian traitors. Guess who will be president of egypt next.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 8:36 pm
I will not comment on the match nor the article….
What I need to say is, I believe the real conspiracy is what happening now between Egypt and Algeria on political level and -the most annoying- on popular level.
To the hell the whole football world, to the hell FIFA, World Cup and even all football players and coaches and managers…
Wonder about who could benefit from this clash? come one…Money is everything nowadays….I bet you could guess it…
Simply, who dislikes Egyptian growing business in Algeria?….in telecom and construction fields…..I am sure France has a lot of worries regarding that….
Today some Algerians call for boycott towards Egyptian products and services in Algeria….see how things relate to money and the bloody business competition?
Viva Algeria…Viva Egypt…..Viva Arab….Viva Islam…..
Go to hell other bloody colonialism nations and their supporters…..we got enough from your “Neutral” reviews….and fake sympathizing with democracy and justice and anti-violence and all such UN-and-US-like political shit…..!!!

There were no rocks thrown on algerian football team. There is no way that egyptians kept throwing many rocks to hit algerian team, and the police just kept watching what is happening. If any person throw a rock, the police will move quickly to catch him, especially that there are special police for these circumstances. The truth is that algerian team broke the windows of the bus from inside with the emergency hammer, the driver reported that he tried to stop them but they hit him. They did that because they were afraid from the egyptian match, because from 20 years they played in cairo stadium in the last round for world cup qualification and they lost from egypt, and egypt qualified to world cup. They wanted the FIFA to cancel the match in egypt as a result of violence and make algeria qualify for the world cup. This is just acting from algerian team to win sympathy from the FIFA and if it didn’t work, they would win sympathy from the refrees in the match. This video shows the algerian team breaking the windows of the bus from inside. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwTlqHnntBw&feature=related
Please make sure of the real truth before writing anything.

I’m from the states but i love soccer and i did watch the game between egypt and algeria. Honestly, the egyptian team put quit a performance and they deserve winning that game. from reading the comment above i feel that the algerian are just finding excuses for losing the game, and there was alot of wasted time in the second half there is no doubt about that. Best of luck for both of you in Sudan, it will be a furious game but rather enjoyable. I put my bets on egypt just because they are a better team.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 8:49 pm
I do agree with the author . And I want to add that the FIFA representative did inspect the smashed bus and saw the bloody rocks that unjured the Algerian players .Even if just few were phisicaly unjured the psychological one was greater .This untimidation premidited or not did pressurised the players negatively and this is not the fist time the Algerian blood had been spilled on the Egyptian soil the first two were in the Sinai desert where Hundreds of Algerians died amongst their brothers Egyptians and Arabs during the the two wars against Israel .Proud of the first ones but not of the last . NO HATE we are still BROTHERS.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 8:57 pm
i am egyptian, and i want egypt to win in sudan and qualify to world cup. But if algeria won, i will wish them best luck in world cup. It is just a football match, it is not a war. WE ARE BROTHERS.

I have already made a nasty remarks about egypt, now I shall add ONE more . TO ALL OF YOU SUPPORTERS OF ALGERIA , remember that even when we were fighting for our independance the bloody egyptians ( who were supposed to be our brothers) were grudging us for having a good football team . REMEMBER ALGERIANS : THE EGYPTIANS REFUSED THE GLORIOUS FLN FOOTBALL TEAM TO PLAY in cairo for fear of economic reprisal from France . EGYPTIANS ARE COWARDS . DO NOT EVER BE FOOLED BY THE FALSE (BACKSHISH) SMILE . “ALGERIANS DIE STANDING” FOR JUSTICE AND THEIR COUNTRY.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 9:38 pm
I will not blame the idiots and stupids bunch of voyous from cairo BUT their sha-(yet)-hata, the smelly shahata who asked the egyptians fans “DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH THE ALGERIANS” did anyone heard before in the football’s history a coach or a sport minister adding fuel to make the game turning in war between 2 teams? did the egyptian sport minister or the governement take action against that man? What about the wedding in the same hotel? what about the B-noise with their cars near the hotel where the Algerian Team stay? isn’t all these things planned and and have been done with premiditation? stop your theater you idiots fans, you’re played with your head and think just to celebrate the next Emperor, the Pharoah, the next Dictator of egypt the son of your Pharaoh, gamal moubarek Pharoah Jr…. OREAL want to pay billions $ to your dictator mobarek to knew the secret of keeping his hair BLACK at the age of,….. 38?!?! is pharaoh mobarek 38,48,58…or…71,81,91 year/old?
So, now make a deal with l’OREAL and leave the football for the sportplayers and for the foot’s fans, …. a corrupt governement, a dictator president, 60% uneducated egyptians is enough! its not me, its world buro of statistic against the corruptors and pharoahs…. one and two and three continu ya misry ya wah e-dab! allez va, voici la reponse puisque tu est un idiot illetre: 1-2-3..Viva Algerie!

FIFA was there and found that the incident was not that serious to cancel the game and very likely took Algeria’s infamous history of violence into consideration as well.
Algerians are obviously not able to control their temper but easily cry foul once they get a piece of their own medicine.
Sure Egyptian fans shouldn’t retaliate in kind – but what really counts is that Egypt’s team fought brave, played fair and never abandoned hope.
The victory is a very much deserved one – and no I am no Egyptian I am from Europe.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 9:55 pm
it is clear that you forgot our real enemy, think who has the advantages of making a struggle between egyptians and algerians. It is ISRAEL, all arabs must be one hand to save Palestine and Iraq. We should not struggle with each others, WE ARE BROTHERS.

Unfortunately, the world is full of a lot of stupid people who believe what they want to believe. Egypt won their home game like they should and if you think that Algeria would have won that game, you must be stupid. The Algerians knew that well and the Whole world knew that. Those teams come to Egypt and lose and try to find an excuse.
And why do you think it is hard to believe that soccer players injure themselves to avoid playing a tough game like that. Especially when we see how them cheating on the pitch. How many times did we see players fouling, elbowing, pulling jerseys, and faking injuries. Do you think that cutting themselves with a piece of glass from the windows they smashed is not possible to get the game canceled or moved to another country. If you think that is not possible, you must be… you do not know what humans are capable of. Why did they show us in their little fake film the rock throwers. In addition, they said. it was rocks not rockets.
At the end, the better team won. the African champions. and by the way they won that title in Ghana not Egypt, so you can not say we cheated. Idiots.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 10:22 pm
So sorry to read all this hate. Your article lacks complete objectivity. Algerians have brought alot of hate across North Africa and Europe. They are very hateful vindictive people and have just attacked Egyptian players in Sudan.
Egypt deserved to win, the players fought hard and never lost focus on scoring and winning the match. All this hate is taking the players miles away from the spirit of the sport, the team that is spreading all this hate has lost focus.
Sudan was picked based on a toss and the Algerian picked Tunisia which didnt come in the toss if it is luck then luck is usually on the side of those who deserve it.
An Algerian player blinded an Egyptian fan in 1989, I cant remember anything worse.
Stop coming up with lazy lame excuses.
Egypt will win on Wednesday because they deserve it.
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 11:00 pm
Sales Algeriens, tricheurs !!! There should have been 10 minutes of injury not just 6 with all the comedie your dirty players throwing themselves on the grass and pretending to be hurt to waste time … Dirty players don’t deserve to win…
Just look at what you are doing in France… Dirty people and dirty players giving a bad name to Arabs eveywhere .. Filthy Algerians
anonymous - November 16th, 2009 at 11:10 pm
I am Algerian and more MACHIAVELIC than an egyptian you die. I surely measure my words as I always back them up with tangible proof such as this video shut by AL HAYAT TV station showing an interview in Arabic language of the bus driver set to chauffeur the Algerian Soccer team from the airport to the hotel. For the Anglosaxon readers, the video is an enigma actually showing one REAL chauffeur or coach driver and a Fake one claiming he was the one driving the Algerian soccer team and how he witnessed the ransack of the bus by the Algerian soccer team! Unbelievable indeed. The fake chauffeur is the one with the mustache while the real chauffeur, by what ever luck, was interviewed just before the Algerian team arrived. Therefore, the Egyptian secret service who mingled this affair fell into its own trap.
Now back to the whole issue. Egypt won, fine, but what bugs me are two things, 1) why when FIFA saw that the Algerian soccer team was massacred did not do anything, not even a yellow card to the Egyptian soccer federation, and 2) why those Egyptian road killers behaved in such a way when just few weeks before their own team was welcomed in Algeria with roses and dignity. So, I ask any Egyptian to show me a single of their brethren who might have been injured while in Algeria, show me a single player of their team complaining being stoned to the head and leaving behind droplets of Egyptian blood on the Algerian soil or just describe what they have suffered with while in Algeria. I mean, we welcomed your national team, your journalists and even offered Mechoui which is an Algerian specialty of roasting lambs etc.. so, why, why didn’t you even show a slight respect to reciprocate.
I rest my case and I end by saying that I will never, ever ever visit Egypt and I ask any and all Egyptians if they are men and women to never set food in Algeria. I have never felt hate in my life, but this time I honestly felt it toward those 2 cowards, FIFA and the Egyptian government, both HYPOCRITE, they smile and say sorry at your face, and then destroy you when you turn your back away. So, thank God that video evidence shut by many Algerian fans while in Egypt unmasked your government tyrannic behavior.
Algerians are no longer your brothers, and please keep in mind that if next time there will be a 12 day war, rest assured, don’t count on any Algerian to shed blood for you as we did it during the 6 day war.
Avec Amertume envers les Egyptiens de moins que rien.

I think that match analysis should be based o WATCHING the match…clearly, you didnt watch it ….all the points you make are of your damn mnd… it was sooooo obvoise that the match was charged with hate and anger during the whole 90 minites..for both teams.. which caused lots of mistakes and fauls, it was only 2 min. befor a faul occurse from one of them..again n again..so.. 6 minites were so fair to make up that lost time…on other hand, the last goal was NOT an offside, the played who scored it, EMAD METTAEB was covered by 2 or 3 algerian players the moment he scored…so, its a 100% GOAL
…talkin about bad behavior.. eveeeeeery one, just like you said..even those who watched match at homes, could see that rude algerian gurl who was clearly sayin inproper words, and makin F signs to the egyption fans…also, you can see the reaction in algeria after the match… they made what could be imagined in the world of SPORT, terrifing egyption citizens in thier homes..threatenin them with killin if they left thier homes…roppin n destroyin thier properties…. but, why i am not surprized?? coz that how algerians always been.. never respected anyone..nor any law…even in france, the reaction was far horrible .. makin fire at in streets, n destroyin anything related to egypt..thats not a SPORT any more…its a war… but they are so fools to make all bad behavior, instead of supportin thier team .. thats why they will lost, n they will loose again in SUDAN..
i dont know who gave you a pin , or a keyboard to write such report on the match…. all i can see, another one hate EGYPT
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 12:21 am
NOW THERE ARE NUMEROUS REPORTS ON INTERNET THAT DURING THE TOSS TO CHOSE A THIRD COUNTRY, AND IN THIS CASE SUDAN WAS PICKED, the two small papers had SUDAN written on them, and poor Algerians fell into the trap thinking Sudan was a real toss landing a final 3rd country as a choice for the rematch. WEll, well, what a master mind indeed. I wished the Egyptian government was as spirited as in faking a toss and find a solution to its economic misery rather than waiting for our US dollars to feed the “Egyptian poors”, oops sorry, I mean the Egyptian corrupt nomenclature. Now, the son of their president is their future destiny to 100% misery and dictatorial rule. Hence, occupying their youth in mundane stone throwing rather than teach them values and civility, but again who wants its students to turn against its rulers! Not Mubarak of course, so go do more lynching in Sudan, this is your prosperity indeed.
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 12:24 am
First of all, thank you for this article, but the blinkered Egyptian supporters who could only see their country being given another chance which
incontestably they don’t deserve just like every country who does similar act forgetting true meaning of FOOTBALL, alas FIFA did not act fast enough to punish such unacceptable misconduct and rightly said if it was another powerful country interventions left right and centre would have taken place along with the powerfu western media making necessary arrangement requesting STRONG SECURITY in order to save their own players!!!
Yes there was too mcuh tension but for the Egyptian to seriously believed that the Algerian team STAGED such incident funny that one comment stated the players being scared, professional players with footbal career in England-Germany-Italy-France can do such thing!!! wake up and accept that act of intimidation was committed leaving Algerian players shell-shocked. PS I do not hate Egypt or the Egyptians but or though you want your country to win and qualify but not like this……..
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 12:28 am
I can’t believe how stupid this article is. It only makes sense that it had been written by an Algerian official. It appears that Algeria can not play under pressure away from home, and really couldnt deliver in crunch time. I didnt really finish your article after reading your criticism of the time added. I really believe that 6 minutes were not enough compared to all that whining and breaking down on the field, waiting for strechers and so on. Om el Donia will show you cock suckers in Sudan.

Hello all,
Both Algeria and Egypt are signatories to the FIFA rules .Any other time the game would have been at least postponed .FiFIA making egypt write additional security garranties is stupid .There is already rules . Now then since everyone including the ones in the cozy chairs of FIFA knows that there was no security for the Algerian team .
If nothing is done by the “governing “body ,Hope your national team is not going to face such a horrendous situation .And for that why have FIFA?
AS we say lead ,follow or get the hell out of the way .We will know what FIFA is all about in a few days .Are they going to fine the Algerian team from being late from the Airport ? maybe they should just qualify the teams they want just as they pick the countries to host the games .
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 1:34 am
Dude,
The root cause of what is happening is the Egyptian’s complex towards all arabs not Algerians only. They are still living the 40’s and the 50’s; Egyptians believe they are number one and they refuse any competition. Will tell ya one thing; wake the hell up…Egypt is far behind most countries (Tunisia, Syria, ..etc). Egyptians should take a look @ the mirror every morning and spit on what they see…It is a shame what happened in cairo.
FIFA also proved weakness and lack of management. Look at the 2nd goal, it was after 96min and offside…Unbelievebale…
PS: I am not Algerian but my heart is them on wednesday in Sudan…Algeria will win 2-0 min and you will see.
This score is calaculated by a Montecarlo algorithm out of a computer not a human…. Computers do not lie like Egyptians…
Ciao

as an african myself, i know how high emotions can get during these games. i’ve seen enough to know that people (fans, players, politicians) will do anything to get an advantage. after watching the game and highlights, the evidence supporting the 2nd goal being offside is inconclusive and it won’t be the first or last time a goal of that nature is allowed to stand. in reference to the fan violence before the match, i’m not condoning the acts but let’s not forget that the algerian fans have committed similar actions to the egyptian team in the past and got away with it. the two nations do not get along, that’s pretty obvious and as many other africans know, the game of football in africa is always a passionate affair. i personally don’t mind seeing egypt go through as i feel they may be the better team but in any case good luck to both teams. i’ll definitely be watching on wednesday.

Dude get lost ,
You haven’t even seen the match
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 5:29 am
Only Africans who have previous knowledge of the history of events in the football games between North African countries would understand what this game was all about. I am not condoning the acts that took place before or after the game in either countries however the minorities in each country responsible for these acts shouldn’t be allowed to spoil the genuine efforts of the players in each team who rallied through the qualifications to reach a deadlock. This is a football game nothing less or more. Let the best team win on Wednesday and let’s look forward to the finals in SA where we will definitely see the African teams showing their best on the land of Africa.
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 6:03 am
you’ve got to be out of your mind to even suggest there wasn’t much stoppage time!that is the most ridiculous and out right biased statement I have yet to hear about the game.the better team was clearly Egypt and the better team won plain and simple!Egypt is undoubtedly the best representative of African soccer and deserves to make it to the world cup, though I respect the Algerian team.GO Egypt!
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 6:51 am
In all honesty Egypt displayed outright domination on the pitch from the 1st to the 96th minute, and in pure football terms, they should ve won that game 4-0.
This being said the algerians’ poor show, was the result of a severe trauma caused by egyptians fans using unhuman destabilization techniques that threatned the algerians physical integrity, and in these conditions, even rambo would’ve poorly performed. the hosts, egyptian goverment and football federation, failed to insure the visiting team’s security. Fifa should’ve heavily sanctioned the egyptians by postponing and relocating the match venue. in any case it takes two to tango. and i think the egyptians just found a sparing partner……
Tahya al Djazair and justice will prevail

Attention to all Algerians and Egyptians, the guys who wrote this articles is an Israeli Mossad agent his name is Mark Apostolou. Just Google his name. Yesterday he has his name posted, today he removed his name so he cant get exposed. This strong evidence suggest that Israel is trying to ignite relation between Egypt and Algeria. I really don’t exclude that Israel is behind stoning the Algerian bus. Don’t let them to fool you!

Eqypt played in Algeria and there was no trouble at all. Inshallah Algeria will win- if not, it will be one of the saddest occasions in Algerian history as when your players are attacked with stones it is injustice for the perpertrators to be allowed to be victorious. FIFA did nothing- can you imagine if Ronaldo was hit with a rock, or Rooney…that would not escape punishment. Even the World cup set up is unjust…. How many European teams qualify, campaired to African teams? Many African people have absolutely miserable lives – the world cup means everything to them. I’m Irish and I will never forget ITALIA ‘90…
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 10:22 am
You got it wrong for the choice of Sudan but for the response of FIFA I think you are right. For comparison, I just wanted to say that Maradona, very recently, was banned for 2 months from soccer and fined $24000 for talking harshly to a journalist. The Algerian team was stoned, players injured and supporters killed but FIFA did absolutely nothing! Poor Algeria!
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
Sooo typical
:):) Whenever Arabs fight among themselves (what they usually do) they blame it on Israel.
Is it really so difficult to play fair and deliver good performance in a soccer match? Why does it always have to be a drama?
Nobody was killed and the injuries did not prevent Algeria to play so what is the fuzz all about?

F A C T S
========
1- Algerian football supporters are so violent, EVIDENCE: 120 football matches in Algerian league were played without audience due to fatal violence and murder accidents.
2- Algerian football players are so violent and lack the sports spirit, EVIDENCE: an Algerian player hits an Egyptian football supporter in 89’s football match in Cairo and caused him a permanent disability (the guy lost his eye!!)
3- Egyptian football team faced illegal harassment and fireworks during the match with Algerian team in Bleadah and FIFA did not do anything about that, EVIDENCE: watch the match tape!!
4- BUT NO EVIDENCE supports that troubles and harassment met Egyptian team in Bleadah was planned by Algerian authorities, it could be done by the violent Algerian supporters.
5- Algerian football team bus glasses are smashed in Cairo and Algerian players are injuried, EVIDENCE: videos on youtube.
6- BUT NO EVIDENCE supports that this smashing is done due to stoning by Egyptian supporters
7- Egyptian football team bus glasses are smashed in Omdurman by Algerian supporter, EVIDENCE: reports from Sudan’s police
8- Algerian newspaper (Al-Shorok) reported murder accidents between Algerian supporters in Cairo, EVIDENCE: newspapers web site and editions
9- BUT NO EVIDENCE about a single murder accident for any Algerian in Egypt as already stated by the Algerian ambassador in Egypt.
10- Egyptian families in Algeria face violent actions now from violent Algerian supporters, EVIDENCE: Algeria’s police reports.
11- Algerian and Egyptian people are real brothers, EVIDENCE: Islamic religion orders and historical relations between countries and people.
12- Egyptian investments is the first foreign investments in Algeria, with value of about 5 billion dollars.
——————————————————————————————————
Conclusions:
===========
a- Algerian football supporters are violent due to political depression on all levels domestically and internationally.
b- Egyptian media highlights the match importance hysterically, of course to cover on public political depression in Egypt on all levels domestically and internationally.
c- Algerian media (Al-Shorork newspaper) LIES on Algerian people with NO EVIDENCE and makes up war between Algerian and Egyptian people in the favor of a bloody football match leads to world cup, THIS IS THE ULTIMATE CRIME EVER in this situation.
d- The intent behind this dirty bloody conspiracy is simply to:
– Move away Egyptian investments from Algeria for the benefit of France
– Trying to show Egyptian people to Algerian people as supporters for Egyptian government approach in the last events of GAZA war, by this breaking up the sympathizing between Algerian and Egyptian people.
– Trying to show Algerian people to Egyptian people as cheaters and violent that could do anything for winning a football match.
SO SIMPLY: To hell the match and the competition and championship………WE ARE BROTHERS AND WILL STILL BROTHERS……stop allowing other nations from cutting us to pieces!!!!
Whoever team will win in Omdurman ALL ARABS will support (As Egyptian did with Algeria in 1986’s world cup against Germany, remember Algerians???!!)
Any notes or comments are most welcomed….
I LOVE EGYPT AND ADORE ALGERIA

The writer of this article must have been watching another game on another planet. Obviously his knoweldge of football is ZERO.
The Alegrians treated the Egyptian team badly (as they always do) in Alegria and their media has been psycho.
Look at what the Alegrians did in France after they lost the game. Burned and destroyed and went on ariot. And France had nothing to do with the game!
The Alegrians are a bunch of thugs and the only place they belong is Jail not the world cup.
Get out of our country!
Long Live France!

1. Algerians did not stone the Egyptian team in Algeria.
Egyptians did!
2. Algerians did not wound Egyptian players.
Egyptians did!
3. Algerians did not terrorize Egyptian supporters.
Egyptians did!
4. Algerians did not begin any of these.
Egyptians did!
5. The Algerian bus driver did not lie!
Yours did!
6. Our bus driver is a real one.
Yours is an agent (actually two! Amazing this one!).
7. Algerians do not have an Israeli embassy in Algiers.
Egypt Has!
8. Algerians are not blocking Rafah passage.
Egyptians do!
9. All Arabs are with Algeria.
Who is the culprit?

I went a few days ago to my hairdresser, a nice chap from Morocco. He told me that he is with the Algerian national team and he is against the Egyptian team! I was astonished and wanted to know why? he said : next please! I have to admit that I am bold and he will probably explain to me next time.
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
I am Moroccan, I am hoping to see Algeria in the world cup since my team could not make it. The reason behind me supprting Algerians because they are man enough to represent North Africa, we got used toEgypt cheatting all the time, they will do verything to win and then call their country OUM DOUNIA if Egypt is OUM DOUNIA Almaghrib ABOUHA, they would be the example then. They pay the referee the attack the fans, THEY WILL DO ANYTHING but God is great. Go Algerians im sure all Morocco is with u. Egyptian Fans I can’t wait to see you watching your team playing in Morocco or Algeria. Bunch of belly Dancers.
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 4:01 pm
Algerians will kick some ass in Sudan. They will be watching Belly Dancers. Go Algeria Our hearts with you to the end. You deserve to win Inchallah. Egyptian fans will be crying. I Want to see that happening in

The article is correct except for the venue of the decisive match.
Mr Blatter is the president of FIFA, a federation that has invented FIFA FAIR PLAY GAME. But is Mr Blatter fair when applying the FIFA rules in the first place! Think about it a little bit!
1. The Algerian Football federation was fined $20000 because supporters took with them flares into the stadium when the played Egypt. Fair Enough.
2. Maradona was fined $24000 and banned for 2 months very recently (15 nov) by FIFA after a foul-mouthed outburst against journalists. Fair enough.
3. In cairo the Algerian team bus was attacked by Egyptian hooligans, players injured and supporters terrorised. No decision was taken by FIFA.
Mr Blatter, I suggest that you retire and let your place for someone who has wetted his shirt in a football pitch and knows the real meaning of “fair play game”!
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 4:40 pm
Algeria did never fight Israel, but Egypt did. They lost Sinai and won it back, while the Algerians were watching with their fingers stuck up their asses. They made peace with Israel and created stability and decent wealth for the region.
Whenever Egypt plays Algeria her players are terrorized and beaten up. Before the bus was attacked the Algerian team provoked the Egyptian fans. For the first time Egypt fought back and broke some windows …
Even better they kicked Algerian butt in their stadium.
Ta3eesh ya misr! Omdurman will mark another doomsday for Algerian soccer!

Egyptians are known to be low, cheaters and liars.
Algerians are known to be frank.
Reputations are based on some truth.
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
Despite of the “neutral” article, it is a nice place for me to comment on the Algerians comments !!
I think because of the moderation job on comments, good job!,as Algerians comments in other web sites like youtube are so dirty and impolite.
I know that most of Algerians went or live in France, how come you guys did not learn civilization yet?
You know why?? because simply civilization is not living in France or talking french or walking like a typical french guy!!
Civilization is what I have experienced with a lot of ALGERIANS following the strong Islamic and Arabian traditions and way of thinking!!
Stop mix it up, you are mixing Egyptian government situations regarding Raffah passage and Gaza war, belly dancing (as if there is no Algerian bitches!!), football matches, some idiot hooligans actions like stoning a bus and our brotherhood as Arab and Muslim peoples!!!
What an Egyptian could do for his government political situations? even if he disagrees? Nothing
Are all french people guilty for the french occupation of Algeria? No
What a Muslim Tunisian could do towards his government situation with Islamic HIJAB?? Nothing
Are all Tunisians are bunch of traitors because of their government situation? No
Are all Turkish people secular like Turkish army is? No
Are all Americans guilty for occupying Iraq by US? No
What have ALGERIANS do towards their government situations? Nothing
Stop mixing things, stop hate country and people in addition to governments…
The only people and government that deserve all the hate is ISRAEL, because simply they all made a choice to live in occupied PALESTINE!!
Instead of hating your brothers and give excuses to our enemies to move away Egyptian investments from Algerian economy, stop this hate and stop call Egyptians “Jews” for a God damn football game!!
Or may be you do not give a shit towards Algeria or Egypt or Arab world or even Islam!! may be you simply live in Paris or Leon and simply do not care!!
Stop acting like kids….stop being emotional idiots without strategic view !!!
But I know most of these Algerian comments are not representing Algerians who I have work and live with….Simply true Algerians are not wasting their time insulting their brothers on internet for a football match…!!
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 6:23 pm
I watched the game in Cairo as an impartial Englishmen. 6 minutes was absolutely fine for injury time. In fact I thought it should have been more. The usual timewasting occurred when a particular team is winning. This isn’t exclusive to Algerians, Egypt would have done the same, it is only natural. Secondly the goal was BORDRRLINE offside. This means it could have gone either way, so therefore its not blatant and a very difficult decision for the linesman to make, plus the rules state that if in doubt the benefit goes to the attacker. The writer of this article loses all credibility with his complaint about the venue of the play off. It was a coin toss you fool, or maybe Egypt slipped the FIFA representative a double headed coin!
Thirdly the bus incident, I don’t believe the Algerians staged it and it doesnt surprise me that it happened. Though I would question whether some of those bandages were on show to garner some sympathy.
Saying it shouldn’t have been played is ridiculous. It was one incident and the atmospher inside the stadium, though electric and intimidating was not dangerous. The truth is that all the Algerians had to do was avoid losing by two goals against a team that is anything but free scoring and they ballsed it up and defended to deep. No-one to blame but themselves.
And for Drogba to insinuate certain players are cheats is laughably hypocritical

I am Algerian, and being a UK resident I have the advantage of speaking English. Thanks to the friends of Algeria who have realised the horror of the situation our national delegation has had to go through in Cairo, despite the unfounded accusations of the Egyptian press.
Algerians are not English speakers by definition, we speak French, so the comments you will have on this page, will be biased anyway.
Thanks again for the support…
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 7:16 pm
lol all u algerians are just trying to come up with an excuse for losing…
stop whining and try to put up a fight in sudan, coz egypts gonna win 2/3/4 – nil
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 7:52 pm
Ok…
1- This article is biased and I won’t repeat the reasons why
2- Egyptian fans (200 people that are most probably idiots) threw stones at the algerian team. Why did they do that? What other team in an important game in Egypt got the same treatment?
3- Algerian press lying about Algerians fans deaths in Egypt
4- Some 5 Algerians reportedly died from heart attacks when Egypt scored the 2nd goal
5- Egyptian workers living in Algeria are being harassed
6- Some Egyptian media speaking in a bad tone about Algeria, and some Algerian media speaking in a bad tone about Egypt
So please don’t pretend that there’s no hatred here from both sides and only towards each other. Where did this hatred start is what I’d like to know, and why so much of it?
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 8:13 pm
A politician from the Gulf state once said, in the sixties, that Egypt was like an European country. He was right as in the late 60’s and 70’s Egypt was, economically and socially, a very sound country well in advance compared to other Arab countries. However things have dramatically changed. According to a recent program in Al Jazeera Channel, Egypt should have been, today, a country similar to countries like South Korea, Brazil or India. But, what the program forgot to mention is that its not by stoning innocent people that nations develop themselves!
anonymous - November 17th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
GREAT post, whatever people try to say to defend them Egyptians! Whoever wrote this, you really killed me when you wrote: “a little site called Youtube”, LOL!
Oh yeah, btw, why is the president of Algeria (Bouteflika) supporting the players and fans so much, if ‘nothing’ happened?? The fans/supporters got their visa’s and tickets to the stadium for free and even their plaintickets with discount!
And oh yeah, Sudan is very supportive as well…. Hmmmm very odd… a very wilde guess here: maybe because the Egyptians WERE wrong?!? Guess the ignorant people will never know!
Anyways gonna enjoy the Algerians playing against them agressive savages tomorrow! Screw the hatred for a little while people! Enjoy this thing called: SOCCER!!!

PARIS — The first rock was thrown with such force that it traveled through the bus, smashing windows on its way in and out, Michel Gaillaud, a French doctor, recalls.
Panicked, he and the soccer players he treats dived for cover.
“We were bombarded with stones,” Gaillaud says. “People were screaming. We were lying on the floor. Someone started shouting, ‘There’s blood! There’s blood!’”
And fair play died.
Imagine the outrage and quick condemnations that would have followed had this been a star-studded team like England, Spain, France or Portugal that was attacked by hooligans in Egypt before a vital World Cup qualifier.
Imagine the stern repercussions had David Beckham, Fernando Torres, Thierry Henry or Cristiano Ronaldo ended up, like midfielder Khaled Lemmouchia, with a chunk of glass embedded in his scalp.
But these victims were Algerians. Africans. Nobodies, apparently. Because, to soccer’s shame, the show went on as if nothing had happened. Having to field two players with head bandages, as Algeria did, is no way to play the game.
Not surprisingly, it lost 2-0.
A lucky escape for soccer officials. Who knows how Cairo might have boiled over had Saturday’s result not kept alive Egyptian hopes of qualifying for the World Cup?
Even in victory, tempers flared. Egypt’s Health Ministry says 12 Egyptians and 20 Algerians were hurt in post-match scuffles.
“Letting us play this match was reckless. I scarcely dare think what would have happened if we had equalized. We, the players, would have been in danger,” Lemmouchia told French sports newspaper L’Equipe.
And what says FIFA, the supposed guardian of international soccer and the rules meant to govern it?
Nothing.
It is at a loss to explain why the match wasn’t postponed or moved to another less heated venue after the Algerian bus was pelted with stones two days before the encounter, on a short trip from Cairo’s airport to their hotel.
When called, FIFA’s media office asked for a list of written questions and then provided this e-mailed response: “FIFA is currently reviewing the reports and documentation received on this matter. We are therefore not in a position to make any comments at this time, as the process is still ongoing.”
The 2-0 result was enough for Egypt to finish tied with Algeria in their qualifying group. To decide which squad goes to South Africa next June, they’ll compete in a playoff in Sudan on Wednesday.
Egypt is lucky to get this second chance.
As host, it was responsible for the Algerians’ security. FIFA rules are clear: “Match organizers must guarantee, in cooperation with the local police authorities, the safety of the participating teams and their officials as well as the FIFA match officials during their whole stay, from arrival to departure.”
The violence has precedent. In 1993, FIFA annulled Egypt’s 2-1 win against Zimbabwe in Cairo in World Cup qualifying after Zimbabwe goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar says he was struck on the head by concrete and coach Reinhard Fabisch says he was hit by a rock and had a wound stitched at the stadium. Egyptian officials say fans hurled oranges, not rocks.
FIFA ordered the match replayed in neutral France. The scoreless draw ended Egypt’s qualifying hopes.
This time, FIFA braced for trouble. It wrote to soccer authorities in both Egypt and Algeria asking for fair play.
One might think that Egyptian police could have protected a few players had they put their mind to it. Yet Gaillaud, the French doctor, says he was struck by how little security there was for the team bus to the hotel. He recalls just one police van, carrying four or five officers, traveling with it.
French journalist Guillaume Pivot, who was following behind in a car, says the bus had police motorcycle outriders, too.
“It was the sort of convoy that you get for a League One match in France. It was completely ill-adapted to the situation,” he says.
Lemmouchia needed three stitches for his cut scalp; strips and a bandage were used to close a cut on the left eyebrow of defender Rafik Halliche; a couple of other players suffered minor cuts.
Less visible was the shock.
The first missile, for example, narrowly missed forward Karim Matmour.
“He felt the stone whizz past his head,” Gaillaud says. “He was as white as a sheet.”
Matmour lasted just half the match and was substituted.
“They were physically capable of playing, but were they mentally is a whole other question,” the doctor says. “I doubt that they were at 100 percent of their capacities and, with that in mind, I think things were skewed.”

Fifa becomes blind , they wear a black glasses ,her president was in Nigeria to celebrate the win of his country of the world cup, so i feel sorry for him, cuz his eyes they see only European people, and not African people which are miserable ,he come from a capitalist country, h was learning what does mean money, for i feel guilty for him, cuz he doesn’t know what does mean humanity …..

What a shame… I honestly wish that FIFA decides to promote Zambia to the world cup instead of both Algeria and Egypt. The immaturity of the offocials and the supporters of both team is out of this world… This is just a game – GROW UP!
WHAT A SHAME…
Cherif – an Egyptian ashamed of both Egyptains and Algerians…

Hello all,
Did you notice how the Egyptian fans say they are Assholes and list a landry
of reasons ?
They are so picked on by everyone including their state apparatus . They
always get their asses kicked and they know why and do have a list .
They do have a list of reasons to every thing they do . If now they can find the
GOOD reasons and start compiling the list it would help their sorry lot .
Except they are not capable of doing it …and you know who and what is
conspiring to stop them ..you guessed it the neighbor to the east ..
Fucking Ignorant For Always …

This is very nice article but most of it is not true .It seems that u heard from someone these news u decide to write an article …..but i would like to clarify some points …..
First :
If really there is algerian players that is hurt inside the bus attack as u mentioned why they refused to let the fifa represntitve to check these claims by fifa’s doctor??
Second :
You didnt watch the match cause it is normal to have 6 minutes extra time (goal keeper was staying for 4 minutes on the ground )
Third :
The goal is not offside.
Finally why do u think fifa will be with egypt side ?????
and remember algerian fans is so aggresive and warch the previous matchs
anonymous - November 18th, 2009 at 9:36 am
Let me be frank on analyzing some points:
1. The Algerian players created this farce about being attacked, they themselves came later on to admit that they were not attacked and they sabotaged their bus to make it look like an attack.
2. The Algerian Ambassador in Cairo has time and again denied any attacks on Algerians in Egypt.
3. Today I received a video from an Algerian fan stating that his people will commit massacres in Sudan, France and Algeria against Egyptians.
4. The goal is a possible offside yes, I saw it live, I saw it on Youtube later on, it’s a very close call, Emad Meteab was returning from an offside position in the previous cross, but was he covered at the time the second cross left the foot of Sayyed Moawwad is not clear in the angle from which TV took the shot.
Now, this is going way out of proportion, the press have exaggerated and in some cases they blatantly lied to both parties, I’ve seen photos of “Presumed” dead Algerian fans, nothing in the photos proves anything, someone lying on the floor, could be unconscious, sleeping or just acting for all I care, no blood in the photos to indicate injury and the guy is lying on a carpet, not in the street and not in a stadium.
The press are the ones responsible for this whole mess by playing on old conflicts to create a crisis that only heaven knows where it’s leading.
That’s my sixpence worth anyway.
anonymous - November 18th, 2009 at 9:54 am
I hope the Egyptian team will be crushed by the Desert Foxes in Sudan.
Then there will be a bloodbath after the match. Young Algeria fans who filled forty eight Air Algerie Boeing 767 and a few Algerian more Air Force Hercules C130 did not do travel four thousand kms to watch a soccer match.
When Egyptians went to Blida, the city of roses, in Algeria on June 7thfor the first match they were received with flowers.
They chose to assault and injure our national team and a handful of young men, women, children and elderl in Cairo. Even young women were assaulted.
The bloodbath in Khartoum will ensure an Egyptian will never assault an Algerian again.
By the way, I am all for peace and live, I just think the next logical step is a bloodbath of Egyptians in sunny streets of Sudan, whether we like it or not.
And this is no longer about soccer. What the Egyptians did in Cairo was an act of war and it will not go unpunished.
anonymous - November 18th, 2009 at 10:55 am
Nowhere is the lament more hopelessly inadequate than in Sudan where the most explosive, politically-charged football match to be played anywhere in the world this year will roar into life on Wednesday night.
Algeria versus Egypt was already one of the game’s most bitter national rivalries, a north African feud nurtured over more than a generation by lurid tales of riots and bust-ups, all headed by the 1989 qualifier which ended with the Algerian star Lakhdar Belloumi supposedly shoving a glass in the face of the Egyptian team doctor, who lost an eye.

It is a game football really doesn’t need. “We play the game for fun, not to create a war,” Egypt coach Hassan Shehata sighed. If only the Algerian football federation chief, Mohammed Raouraoua, had been listening; instead, he chose to light the bonfire again last night by blaming his Egyptian counterpart, Samir Zaher, for causing the violence which disfigured Saturday’s encounter between the same teams.
Just what Fifa didn’t need. Nervous as kittens about the potential repercussions tonight, how the governing body must be bemoaning that it did not have the wherewithal to sort out the final African qualifying spot when the teams played in Cairo at the weekend.
Instead, all it got was a match played against the backdrop of players being attacked by fans, governments appealing for protection for their citizens, supporters suffering injuries and violent clashes between Egyptian and Algerian communities spreading as far afield as France. All this and absolutely nothing decided on the field.
For when Emad Meteab headed home in the 95th minute to earn Egypt a 2-0 victory, this astonishingly dramatic finish ensured the old foes were left level on points, goal difference and goals scored. The only solution? The play-off from hell.
No wonder Fifa, in an eve-of-match statement, again appealed for “fair play and responsibility”, a plea immediately torpedoed by Raouraoua’s inflammatory suggestion that Zaher was “the origin of all the events that have occurred, including the barbaric aggression that injured our players.”
Yet what about Fifa’s responsibility to fair play too? It appeared indolent in responding to last week’s hooligan attack on the Algerian team bus in Cairo, an incident which, had it befallen one of football’s glamour teams, would have caused international outrage.
Fifa is now reviewing reports belatedly but Egypt’s football authorities may feel fortunate to have this second opportunity since their basic security was shown to be wholly inadequate.
Three Algerian players were injured by rocks hurled through the vehicle’s windows and had to dive to the floor, screaming. One, Khaled Lemmouchia, left with glass embedded in his head, reckoned the game should never have gone ahead, a verdict shared by their team doctor who said players were in no fit state mentally to play.
“I scarcely dare think what would have happened if we had equalised,” complained Lemmouchia. “We, the players, would have been in danger.”
And not just the players. Thirty-two people were injured in post-match skirmishes while beyond Cairo, the aftermath quickly became even more alarming; in Algeria, Egyptian nationals had their homes attacked and millions of dollars of damage was caused to Egyptian businesses.
Overseas, in Marseille as six boats in the port were set alight, 500 police had to quell clashes between Egyptian and Algerian immigrant youths. So now this most sensitive of play-offs has been placed in the protective hands of Sudan, which will host the conflagration at the rickety old Al-Merreikh Stadium in Khartoum’s twin city of Omdurman.
“We have put all our security forces on their highest level of alert,” declared Khartoum state governor Abderrahman al-Khidr. More than 15,000 police – nearly one to every two spectators in a 35,000 crowd – will try to keep order.
Egypt won the draw to stage the game on its neighbour’s territory – Algeria had wanted it in Tunisia – and yet such is the sporting rivalry between the Sudanese and the ‘Pharoahs’ that, ironically, Algeria will probably be hailed like the home side, with 48 plane loads of ‘Desert Foxes’ fans having jetted in.
In response, Egypt has handed out free tickets to under-30s, as well as free transport and accommodation to 2,000 making the journey south. Thousands will end up heading to segregated camp sites, situated several kilometres apart.
“They beat our wives and our guys in Egypt … we are standing ready to kick their behinds if they do something to us,” one Algerian fan said at Khartoum airport yesterday. “We don’t want to fight but if they come after us we will defend the flag.” Fifa officials must have heard this and simply offered up a silent prayer. Only a game?

First of all – I am not an Arab at all.
Secondly, I have been working with so many Egyptians during the last couple of decade and I tell you the truth – they are the wonderful people. They are the best among all Arabs – and the only ones who live with their hearts!

Egypt is showing the world how to best win a football match. Physically beat the opponents and install fear in their hearts and minds. Then expect to pay a financial fine a few months later after FIFA finishes ‘investigating’ the incidents. Looks like the rule of the jungle.
anonymous - November 18th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
The Cairo contest was played throughout a hostile atmosphere in the Egyptian capital, with the Algerian team bus pelted with stones in the lead-up to the game.
FIFA have announced a review into the final group contest but, with another tense encounter, have asked for calm.
The statement read: ”FIFA would like to once again make an appeal to all football fans and to the entire football family, and in particular to all of those involved in this match, to show a spirit of fair play and responsibility in order to help avoid any incidents.”
what is that all about?

Algeria didn’t deserve to win, Egypt was way better.
Algerians tried to kill the Egyptians by poisoning their food and then tried to make Egypt appear like a racist when they said they thew Stones on them, Egyptians can never, by a way or another do this, the glass is out, if they really threw rocks, the glass would have been inside but the glass is out. Algerians used bad words and cursed Egyptians and tried to interact with Egyptians living in Algeria.

“just a lucky shot. Algeria will be the embarrassment for the Arab world at the WC.

Hey, who ever you are that said this, good thing your anonymous. that’s all i can say. that is possibly the biggest insult i have ever heard. At least the Algerian government doesn’t work with the Israeli government like Egypt. I would really get your facts straight before you says something like that.

I hope that you are pleased with your article now.!! Please be fair and write another article about what’s happening right now. Egyptians are being terrorized in Sudan and some of our key figures are injured , I hope that you mention that in your next article.

Hello All,
Ok a new list of reasons of why they lost is in order for Egypt .
Need to make a reminder for all Egyptians ,not to dance to early and
not to cheat and learn fairplay …Maybe the next time ..if ever ..good
luck suckers
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 1:54 am
“Israel is a better brother to the Arabs then Algeria.”
He is actually quite right. Algerians are Berbers – not even Arabs. Their fans show their true faces being on a rioting spree in Sudan and beating up Egyptians in Algeria.
Egypt lost with dignity and my heart is with all Egyptians today and will ever be. Ta3eeshi ya masr – daiman umm-id-dunia.
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 2:03 am
your article is fantastic. You have asked some good questions but I doubt we will get answers. The only thing wrong is your dispute about the six minutes. I am algerian, I watched the game, I cried at the end. But the six minutes was fair (not the offsides). The algerian team wasted a lot of time in the second half in our attempt to disrupt egypts flow. A strategy we often use when up ahead. I had a lot of problems with the game but not the six minutes. ,Keep writing. just found this site, will continue to follow it.

Hello All,
Its the smart alleck atitude of the Egyptians and it cowardiss that brought them to kneel if front of the better play of the glorious Algerian team .
Now go eat “foul” and “hommos” and stink up the house . No amount of crying wil escuse a coward ,and you have cornered the market in complaining .Stop it be men ,accept your loss and make a better list of escuses.

Hello All,
Here is a word from the scorer af the Algerian goal :
« L’Algérie est une terre d’hommes. »
Every Egyptian should remember that.
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
« L’Algérie est une terre d’hommes. » ???
Nothing against the country – the problem is with the nutcases who are inhabiting her.
They won the game, they qualified for the World Cup. Every normal person would celebrate and be happy, but no – they have to ransack Khartoum Airport, plunder the Duty Free Shop, harass and beat up Egyptian fans.
Sorry but “terre des chiens dangereux” sounds more appropriate as long as they can’t vent their temper without violence.
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 5:21 pm
Hello All,
Don’t expect any nice word from a coward egyptian but to say what he
is..
Takes a dog to know a dog ..Go and get some “Roujla” . You have no
lessons to give ,too late for that .. Maybe in the future when you do not
underhand every part of your lives and learn to overcome your
shortcomings as you have many .just look past the pyramids and tell
us of the squalor around you.
As for the land of MEN ,go around and ask anyplace in all of Africa they
will let you know .It is not just a word it is ancored in the history of it’s
people .Now go eat some hommos and thank your neighbor to the
east for not taking cairo and making you a street sweeper. Ask your
dad he may own up and tell you the truth …maybe not possible ,in his
mind .
they won the war.
ar there too.
.

One Egyptian got stabbed to death and one girl lost her eyesight, hundreds of Egyptians suffered injuries by the Algerian mob who arrived fully armed and equipped by their government and those who didn’t bring a weapon could it buy in the stadium.
And you want nice words? Koz-omak!
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 7:33 pm

Better call it a scumbag – too bad that the French did not clean it out properly

The Sudanese watched while unarmed Egyptians were killed, really gracious hosts!
Remains to be seen who represents North Africa after the killings occur. FIFA should strip qualification from Algeria and award it to Tunisia who alwys played fair and without violent events.
That would teach both a valuable lesson. Investigation vs . Egypt did start already, a ruling on the Khartoum murder will follow soon.

Seriously i’m not even arab, actually american and watched from start to end as i am married to a lovely woman from tunis. Algeria destroyed their own bus, burned the egyptian flag (something israel would never dare do) attach women and children with weapons in sudan and acted like animal… What can u expect from a bunch of berbers.
Egyptians have dignity, algerians on the other hand are terrorists.
And u all wonder y americans think the middle east is fucked up… Well there u go. Muslim brothers attacking each other over a stupid soccer match.
May god be with u Egypt.
And may the world fuck u algeria because u r an embarrassment and the world will see what a bunch of fucks u r in the world cup.
Oh and stop speaking fucking french like a bunch of sissy’s.
Viva L’America…
After all…. We always qualify for the world cup
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 9:20 pm
I actually agree with u. Israel would not dare burn the egyptian flag or attack women and children like the algerians did in sudan. Funny how the jew are better brothers to the egyptians. I’m from tunis. I think fifa should disqualify the match and have a reply without fans behind closed doors or ban egypt and algeria and let tunis go through. As a neighbour to algeria, they have always been aggressive and the world hates them. They wonder why the french want them out of their country, well theres ur answer. France along with the world hate algerians. And so do i. On behalf of tunis, we r sorry egypt for the low liFe algerians
anonymous - November 19th, 2009 at 10:02 pm
OH MY GOD! I don’t believe what I’m reading. This is insane!! Your talking about bad sportsman ship from Egyptians!? Have you heard what Algerians have done to Egyptian in Algeria? Innocent citizens that have nothing to do with football? Families, men and women, children who have no fault in any of this? AND U TALK about the rule of the jungel. This is insane, disgusting and revolting. They’ve been kicked out of their houses into the streets by their Algerian neighbors, their businesses have been broken into, their life has been threatened. And then now the brutal attacks on FANS in Sudan. It’s disgusting, simply disgusting. I don’t know what happened in Egypt, I heard so many versions from so many people, but in the worst case scenario even IF a stone was thrown at the Algerian bus that does not JUSTIFY ANY OF THE CRAP THATS BEEN GOING ON SINC ETHEN ON INNOCENT ONGOERS. Disgusting. Simply DISGUSTING.
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 12:21 am
Hello All,
There you again spreading lies . Is that why sudan called the Egyptian embassador to let him know to quit spreading lies?
As for recalling the Egyptian ambassador to Algeria ,I hope you keep him in cairo ..
Dream on masris !!! … Algeria is bound to the Brotherly South Africa ..
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 2:40 am
savages when you win and savages when you lose you burn and destroy whether you’re happy or disappointed…Desert Rats thats what I call the Algerians….how barbaric..no wonder u were killing each other until very recently…thousands of Algerians slayed daily by their own people….that only proves that you people got no brains cus if u did I’m sure u wouldn’t have had these massacres…modern berbers aka Algeria is just a whole retarded nation….
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 5:59 am
Hmmmmmm
14 ALGERIANS DEAD
400 ALGERIANS INJURED
IN ALGERIA DUE TO CELEBRATIONS.
R u stupid, kill and injur ur own kind and then say shit about egyptians. U r a group of savages. I will not compare u with any animal because animals attack to defend or for food. U on the other hand r below animals attacking egyptians for no reason, injuring ur own players so when u lose its ur excuse. Really its pathetic.
ALGERIANS R SAVAGES, AGGRESSIVE, COLD BLOODED KILLERS AND WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT FOR AFRICA FOR THE WORLD CUP. Disqualify the desert rats
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 6:39 am
Hello All,
I am sure that’s what you have read and heard from the egyptian media .
Here i am going to give some reality.do no believe what your media is
dishing out .Remember the six day war ,your media was telling you the
brave egyptian army is in Tel Aviv .Of course the reality was totally
opposite.
The only thing that’s going on in Algeria is a big party .a celebration for
a well deserved win .Nothing more .As for you calling Algerians
animals ,well coming from a donkey like you it’s a compliment .
Learn to loose ..it’s only a football game .improve what’s between your
ears ,and that’s your brain not your ass ..Don’t get confused by your
fouled mouthed media
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 7:01 am
If you are so brotherly why don’t you celebrate with the Algerians .
sore loosers !!!
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 7:23 am
Who is going to South Africa ?
Egypt ? NO! NO! NO!
Algeria ? YES! YES! YES!
To be repeated 3 times by all our Egyptians Brothers ..
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 7:47 am
Being a European I can’t dig such hatred attitude over a soccer match. Certainly stoning the bus in Cairo was unacceptable. However now a security tape emerged (apparently the bus driver was a secret service agent and shot it) proving that indeed the Algerian team made the whole thing up.
From Sudan reports come in that many (not all) of the Algerian fans just came to hunt down Egyptians and were not interested in the match.
I really wonder about the governments of Algeria and Sudan. How come that Algeria’s media can invent stories of killed Algerians in Cairo and the Algerian Ambassador first refuses to set the record straight and only after Egyptian companies in Algiers are targeted is willing to do so? Definitely Algerians were misled by such propaganda.
Sudan’s Bashir, slaughterer of Darfur and wanted by international warrant apparently teamed up with Algeria and so the Sudanese did not only allow armed fans to enter the stadium they even sold knives WITHIN the stadium. Sudanese security looked away when Egyptians were beaten up and stabbed.
And now Algeria is sending planes with ‘humanitarian help’ to Sudan to say thank you for the ‘great service’ their Sudanese friends had rendered.
Summarizing what happened one has to conclude that Algeria clearly crossed the line here and FIFA’s (re-) action should be to ban Algerian fans from attending international events.
As for the match, Algeria did win deserved and Egypt (who won deserved in Cairo) should acknowledge that their team did not play well. However both teams are among the best Africa has to offer.
It is sad that the players achievements are marred by hooliganism, exaggerated nationalism and even putting an alleged Israel conspiracy on the agenda.

Hello All,
There you go again with your fiction .You will do better writing novel
as the truth escapes you .I am sure it cultural ,the notion of “Oum
Dounia” gives a complex of superiority at your detriment .You are not
smarter than anyone and yes you are capable of lying .
You don’t have to make yourselves to pass for a Tunisian or an
Englishman .
Start by assuming what you say .No amount of “I am Russian and I
tell you that the video was fake and we planted an Egyptian spy ..bla
bla bla”‘
You don’t know Intelligence or have it ..You are only fooling yourself
.Take of the mast and look at the mirror …
Now do you see 2 big ears ? you don’t recognize why ?
Don’t have to ..just repeat ..three times
Egypt? NO! NO! NO! Algeria ? YES ! YES! YES!
All for the name of Brotherhood .. OR you were just faking it ?
The brotherhood … and yes we know you are not that bright..
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 9:24 am
YOU even don’t know how to write proper English, so don’t talk about intelligence, which is obviously alien to your kind. Don’t talk about brotherhood as your origin is not Arab rather than half-bred French with half-bred Berber, i.e. big mouth and small dick
Good luck in South Africa, be assured WE WILL WAIT FOR YOU!
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 12:40 pm
u stupid f*cks. if ur going to comment on something make sure u dig deeper than the headlines. this was all a fuc*ing play to cancel the game. Thats how rats plan to win. yes RATS = ALGERIA. no stoppage time HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA where u watching a different game mr so called algerian neutral? shut the f*ck up and dont talk about something u know nothing about sitting infront of ur plasma tv. I’d love to c ur comments on nov. 18. we were about to be slaughtered if not for the loss. ALGERIA TO ME = ISRAEL at least israel is not pretending to be brothers.
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 2:00 pm
EGYPT DID IT: They ambushed the Algerian Ambassador in Cairo. He showed up in TV and insulted the moderator and accused Egyptian fans for injuring Algerian players. Then they confronted him with the video showing the Algerian players destroying the bus and hitting each other! Totally embarrassed the Ambassador apologized and called the Egyptian his ‘brother’. He almost cried!
So, ‘brothers’ – You can win as much matches as you want, even win the World Cup. It will never change what you are and what you will always be.
But we know who we are and ever will be. Om-id-dunia. EGYPT RULES FOREVER!
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Let face it, Oum Edounia, can simply not bear the idea of losing, Algerian victory is great but it is burning, aching and consuming them profoundly. They keep insulting and calling the Algerian names where I have not seen any of this from the part of the Algerian , all the Egyptian media keep saying the same things nothing new and most amazingly even the High Responsibles (Ministry of this and Ministry of that) insults the WINNING COUNTRY. Israeli keep killing their people in the mist horrible way on the borders, no one speak about that, WHY ? you surely know the answer. Algerians are animals, rats, terrorists…… is this the proposal of a decent country well this only denotes baseness . Algerians have always been known for being very proud, generous and Honnest, they are also known as people who do not accept to be mistreated if you will hit them you will certainly find them and YOU HIT THEM first, all the European newspapers are talking about the disgrace caused by Egyptians when attacking the coach of the Algerian Team , they were in your country under your security why this did not happen to the Egyptian team when they visited Algeria ? if they hate you so much they surely would not hesitate to shout insults at you and beat you in their Territory ? Come on let have some common sense and dont be manipulated by the Egyptian Media, I am not and by not replying to all your insults The Algerians show once more that they are wise and good people.
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Ha ha ha! Mr “Neutral’ !!!! Hey- Neutral boy, after taking your face out of your place where the sun don’t shine, take a look at what your innocent Algerian wackos did in Sudan…wow! knives & swords?!!! These people are pathetic!!! Hope all the Algerian fruitcakes sleep well knowing that they only won by terrorising the Egyptian players…for all the people from other countries who don’t know what happened in Sudan 3 days later, just google the words “Knives, Algerian fans, Sudan” !!!
A big “F” word for you, terrorists called Alegerians!!!
Ananymous flippin’ the bird for Alegerian suckers!

you know what,i was always thought to be naieve when it came to the spirit of “al 3roba”,i always thought that arabs can put behind their disagreements and misjudgments someday and become one,but after seeing what happened from algerians for merly a football match,i couldnt beleive that algerians are that barbaric.what are they doing this?we helped you man to free your country, thats how you repay egytpians?by attacking defensless men, women and children?are you retarded?are you that blind and ingnorent that the urge to destory is the only moving power?
what also seems really hard to blieve after that article is that you say that egyptians attacked the bus holding algerians.well ok if am not an egyptian which i pride myself to be,i’ll look at the fact logically right!so algerians attacked egyptians when we won in 89,with stones and all kinds of shit.algerians are banned from playing in france.france want to throw algerians out of their country coz they were always thought to be agressive and barbaric in their actions.egyptians were ambushed in sudan by algerians fans who were holding all kinds of knives in their hands which you can see in a video on the little website called youtube as you call it.they burned a bible and a quran for no reason.
i’ll let you be the judge of that, what do you think?and am talking to algerians, dont you have no shame in claiming what you are claiming on egyptians?you know what,we shouldnt have raised a finger helping you,you just dont deserve it.
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 5:28 pm
Please please ,hold your bullshit !!! you help us do what? Free our country ?
name one Egyptian that died in Algeria to free it …Go consult your libraries and ask your leaders and historians ..
but the reverse is true . Many young Algerian souls died defending your sorry asses in 67 .Just to see you running pat them..You couldn’t explain the many back wounds to your soldiers than ..you are not giving us this brotherhood bullshit ..You are always with your hand out ..Always for the taking ..GIVE??
that ’s an oxymoron from you ..Learn this three things:
1.Say the Truth .
2.Be a man.
3.Remember history ..
And in the end ,you will be forgiven for bringing a knife to a gun fight…
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 5:53 pm
its amazing how someone could say a lie and just believe it,you are denial fellow.now that mentioned it, btw am not the one who brought the knife mr,look at your honorable fellow citizenes and see for yourself who is the one who would bring the knives into a soccer match, egyptians are not barbaric like algerians ,we dont do that,we never did that and we most certainly never will.
its noticable i must say, how you only commented on that part only?didnt find anything you could debate about the other “claims” .ahh its a shame.so until you find sth useful and maybe beleivable to say, just make us all a big favor and shut it.
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 6:06 pm
You are soooo pathetic…..Why don’t you just go home anD drown your sorrow in foul and m’loukhiya? Algeria won and they deserve it : young, athletic, and professional the algerian players are….You cannot digest that you got defeated by a better team, so you are killing yourself at making up stories and other lies about Algerians and their team. Get lost you foul eaters, algerians are far beyond your reach.. You are the shame of the arab and muslim world …and
WE WON !!!!
anonymous - November 20th, 2009 at 6:08 pm
Normal you are used to be told to shut up /// not used to free speech ,told to follow the line ..the truth was filmed by a French media //go see it for yourself ..
The saying is to show you not to bring a fight but to finish it ..That went beyond your little brain..
You have cornered the market in barbarity and cowardice ..There is no comment to be said ..It in color ,well done by the French media ..And trust me it’s journalism at it’s best not Egyptian fiction …
You lost in every front ..Try again next time ..but be forwarned ..you are
wasting your time ..

El CID says learn French if you want to write in French..According to the Soudanese Government ,there was only petty trouble .That’s why they sent a stern convocation to the Egyptian ambassador to make sure he relay to Cairo that the media lies about any troubles in Sudan need to stop .I am sure your media is saying something totally different .It may shock you if you are Egyptian but anyone anywhere in the world is used to this kind of travesty from government controlled media (Moubarek control). Need to expect from your leaders better treatement ;True information ,but as usual Moubarek wants Gamal to be the next pharow.
The million martyrs are a history fact so you can’t say anything more about that . Don’t worry your little head ,most Algerians speak Arabic ,English and French ..So go ahead and write it in Arabic .You will have a better written Fantasy a nice fable …
Tell me in Arabic who is going to South Africa ..
Ok quietly say it so no one near you hears it..

To all Egyptians, this should teach you a lesson not to mess with Algerians. You should not mistreat our players in your country and expect the proud and free men to stand by. You started the fight, you unleashed the wrath and now you crying and blaming the Algerian players for inflecting wounds on themselves, do you think people are stupid to believe such garbage. Algerians are generous, brave, and very proud people who cannot and never forgive being mistreated by anyone, be it by so called “brothers” or any other power. It should have been a regular football game but you turned it into a war for some internal political reasons. A qualification to SA will make the people happy which will render the succession of Jamal Mubarak for his father as smooth as possible. The government controlled media played their role in hyping this game as crucial and elimination is not to be fathomed. The inevitable happen on November 12 and you did not count on the reaction of all Algerians. You only have yourself to blame for this debacle. I hope you learned your lesson.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 3:20 am
think about it why would the egyptians hurt the algerians when they were in egypt when they won but the papers siad that some of the algerians were killed and then the algerians reacted in sudan all of this is because a paper in algeria started a rumor
think about who would do somthing like this
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 3:44 am
ok, everyone lesson to me, algerians are all full of bull shit, they threw rocks at their own bus n tried to set us up to make us egyptians seem like the bad ones, second of all they were irratating us by fouling us like craz, n thier dumb ass fans threwing rocks at amr zaki, n for the faggots algerians who were standing out side of the game with knives waiting for the egyptians, i mean come one seriously?, u pussies cant fight with out any weapons, cuz if u had noweapons the egyptains would have baically wiped thier ass wih uall
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 4:15 am
Algerians being killed may have been a rumor just like the rumors circulating now about Egyptians being killed in Sudan at the hand of Algerians. The Sudanese government strongly denies that. But Algerian players stoned in Cairo was no rumor, we all have seen that on videos on the internet. FIFA representatives in Egypt attested to that. Instead of acknowledging the barbaric attack and trying to calm the situation, the Egyptian government and media started spreading ridiculous and blatant lies that Algerian players started the whole thing themselves. Wait and see, FIFA will come with final results of their investigation and consequences in December. The Algerian national football team is a dear symbol to all Algerians, what happened on November 12 was an unforgivable affront to the dignity of the proud Algerians and you should not be surprised by their reaction. You should blame your stupid government and media.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 7:49 am
AAR a Dunia the only thing you have left is a big mouth. Please tell me if you have seen any civilized country heating players of a foreign team during a world cup qualification. You are a country of barbaric attitude. You are big in lies and fabrications. You do not belong to the civilized world.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 8:14 am
Look, I feel really sorry for you. You are mad because we are your worst nightmare. We can give lessons if you want. We have lessons in languages and pronunciation (park not bark), faith, civilization, dignity, courage, and football. If you still believe that you are Oum a Dunai we are Oum a Towra. We can teach you how to do more work and less talk as well.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 8:45 am
No we arent mad cause we lost a game, its cause you people are so cheap, the type of people you brought to sudan are some low lifes killers, dose that make you feel proud about your country? You act as if Football is the most important thing in your life, thats why i dont think you have a life, most of your people are homeless and jobless in Europe
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 4:14 pm
You should watch what algerian fans did in 18 Nov. in Sudan
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 4:23 pm
You are the last person to speak about that. You live off American Aid. You lost all your dignity by following intrructions of other countries including Israel. You are really the shame of Arab and Muslim countries. Again the only thing you have is a big mouth. Did anyone kill your people. Please have some dignity. You are in your own bubble. Look at the world outside of your entourage and think. Wait for the FIFA. You hit our players in your country you cowards and you spread lies because you could not believe after all you have done to the Algerian players you still could not qualify. We won a footbal macht and disgnity and you won only trouble.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 4:31 pm
I challenge you to tell us what the Algerian did. Show us proof and not lies. Instead you shoudl apologize for what you did to our players and fan in Egypt. We have proof for that. It is unfortunate that you have no class from your leaders, to the media to actors. You are a nation without wisdom or leadership. Please learn from others.
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 5:48 pm
with all my respect to your opinions, there is no low life in algeria because every single person hlding the algerian passport worth millions of egyptians who got kickded from the arab world for a good 8 years and the only country to help them to get back to the arb world is algeria because they betrayed their close brothers (palestinians) for few american dollars.
about the footbal algeria has a very young players who can beat a bunch of old fat unfit players. my best advise to you is to try to renew the team and maybe keep your manager (good) and stop being jalous from your neighbours and brothers. your media blamed every single one in the world but their old unfit players.
thanks and you will get beat by nigeria and that it is for sure.

Too much Arab depise…!!!!
Egypt is the envy of ALL Arab nations….!!!
and most of worlwide countries…..!!!
In so many ways that no single human being can actually list in a year of research!!!
this makes the weak of heart the low of morals despise Egypt and Egyptians (no matter how much they deny) most arabs know that there mere existence, the reason that they were born free, educated, is because of US and asta3?forAllah from arogance. Yet on every single possible occassion you find weaks of heart that try to diss Egypt or Egyptians just for the sickness for the Inferiority complex that was raised in there sick twisted hearts and minds and grew into Egyptian hatred.
These sick minds cannot go public and say, “Oh we r better than Egyptians!” because they are wrong and they know it as much as they know they have eyes in their face and whoever doesn’t know….. Read your freakin history from a genuine source and you will know!!! its these small occasions that oozes out the darkness of their Inferiority complex in the form of hatred against Egyptians .
We are JUST SAYING ENOUGH IS ENOUGH of this Inferiority complex control and act normal as if we were equal you won a match way to go you have some political stance support it but stay away from Egypt and Egyptians because i had enough and i feel the vibes in my community as an Egyptian enough of this ARAB theory or dream !!! if its really gonna hurt us then to HELL with it ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! i dont give a damn EXCEPT ABOUT MY wife my kids my family my friends AND my EGYPT!!!!!
anonymous - November 21st, 2009 at 7:53 pm
Algerians are so full of it. I am from France and we are watching Paris and Marseille going up in flames again and again. Guess who is doing that?
Now their team finally made it by hook and by crook. What happened in Cairo? The Algerians were scared shitless. They brought some goons and staged an attack on their team. The tomato ketchup was lovely. Too bad it was all caught on tape and FIFA did not listen to their whimpering and begging to shift the game away from Cairo.
Then they cut a deal with Bashir from Sudan, who is a wanted war criminal. He made sure that 48 Algerian airforce planes could bring thousands of goons who terrorized the Egyptians.
People should not get fooled by Algerian propaganda we know them. They cannot be trusted.

Who is the future president? SON OF THE slave of Israel. between us all whole the world does know about it. just make sure u done it,am an Egyptian pure and proud to,,,,,,,,,,,,,one day ya ebn zina
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 2:22 am
El Cid says,
Why do the Egyptians like to assume other nationalities?I am a Tunisian goes one, then I am an American goes the other, the I am a Frenchman fils de chien..Why?do they do that? because they don’t know who their dady is.Mommy lies to them when they ask .She can’t tell the idiot that they are siblings.
The other thing is why do they think they are super sleuth?
Didn’t the penetration of all their army branches by Israel give them an indication of taking it deep ..All the way to the hilt..(that’s why they use pillows to sit on..)
And the previous poster was right ,their next president is “son of the slave of israel” Gamal..
Can an Egyptian know what a piece of shit is ..no ..not even when it hits him in the face..They rather repeat like a minah bird an unbelievable story then the Truth..
Did the Egyptians know the game is over ?The party is done..The players are back with their clubs? The Algerian federation has already scheduled the next players gathering for Angola?
No maybe not ….They still are talking about the game..And all the lies they can come up with it is done….
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 3:04 am
Drogba knew them and as am an Jordanian wish all the best to Algerian team and shut ur mouths Egyptian, enough liars, shame on u, whole the world saw what u done and doesn’t efect. The real pic that u can’t hand it and says sorry,on Thursday we will see the fifa chrges
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 3:28 am
Everyone on this board is an idiot…regardless of all the hooliganism that’s happened from both sides..the fact of the matter is that TECHNICALLY Egypt should be the ones going to the World Cup. After Algeria won the first match 3-1, where Algeria had 3 points and Egypt had 2 (since they scored on foreign land), FIFA changed the rules, so when Egypt scored 2-0, which gave them 4 points to Algeria’s 3 points they should have won and there should never have been a replay game. Egypt was wrong to play the third game in Sudan. So all this crap about bus attacks, offsides (which is not true), killings and cheating, the fact is that Egypt IS ACTUALLY THE TRUE WINNERS and not Algeria. BTW I’m don’t care for either side, I’m just stating the facts of what happened and why this madness is going on.
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 3:54 am

anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 4:08 am
It’s funny how both sides allowed themselves to get sucked into this insanity. All it is is a game….Algeria poisoned Egyptian players in Algeria, so Egypt retaliated…then Algerians went crazy and even though they won..they attacked Egyptians in Sudan…Algerians are garbage and Egyptians are crazy…the fact is that both sides need to give up this bullshit and focus on what’s important. All this name calling isn’t going to do any side any good…it’s just making both sides look ignorant and stupid in front of the world. No one is saying Algerians or Egyptians…what the rest of the world is saying is ARABS and MUSLIMS….so both sides need to wake up and get real…stop making yourselves look like a bunch of barbarians!!
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 4:43 am
I suggest that all Algerians stop respond to these idiots. I do not think they deserve our inetellegence. Leave them in their bubble. You cannot even have a normal conversation with people with a brain of monkeys. Their leaders are best represenation. Read what they are saying about us from the son of their self imposed president to thei leaders in the parlement. Do you see any Algerian counterpart say anything like that? Of course not. . If only you acted 10% of what you have been doing against your so called Algerian brothers against Israel when they attacked Gaza. You are a disgrace to the Arab and Muslim world.
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 11:35 am
Egyptian wanted to show the world are innocent by saying
Algerian too did attacks us to effect a good pic but every one
does know what’s happened to Algerian player’s and they still
Saying fake blood, ,ya awlad Israel grow up.
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 3:16 pm
so what’s the conclusion: EVERYONE who plays Algeria will see his fans massacred regardless whether you win or lose? This World Cup will be exciting indeed!!!
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 6:48 pm
You bunch of barbarian Algerians, you took advantage, using knives, over groups of unarmed Egyptians, including women and children, in Sudan. You were so lucky the real Egyptian Men were not there or they would have kicked your silly asses. You forgot that it was Egypt who made you a real country
Your stupid lying media kept talking about dead people in Cairo, so why the hell didn’t we see any pictures of those dead bodies?, whey didn’t we see any funerals made in the streets of Algeria?, all we saw was a punch of idiots stepping over the Egyptian Flag. the flag of the one and only country who’s got dignity in the Arab world.
and stop talking about Gaza, and the Arab nationality, you can’t even speak Arabic, you are the slaves of France.
You won a football match by terrorizing innocent people. but you did loose your dignity…..you showed the repulsive side of your barbarian society… …
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Haven’t you Algerian seen what happened in the match in Sudan from the terrorism of the masses of Algeria and the instigation of the Algerian football federation? this does not belong to football.
haven’t you seen what happened from the Algerian players before the match and during the national anthems of both teams and terrorism suffered by the Egyptian public before and after the game.
so stop being proud of your victory and feel ashamed of yourselves for turning a football match into a war against the people who’ve done you so many favors in the past…but i’m not surprised you forgot those favors, because only smart and decent people would be grateful to others, and you are none the two types..you are stupid mean people.
anonymous - November 22nd, 2009 at 11:49 pm
Egyptian= ignorance, fabrication, coward, lack of reognition, crying like women, disgrace, treators, no brain, no logic, wayning, second class….etc. the list goes on.
We won and you keep crying. Your life is so empty that a football match has become your life. I really feel sorry for you from your president to the beggers which you have many of them. You country in disarray. You may as well concentrate in making your life better than attacking people who are centuries ahead of you because of a football match. I do not blame you, however. You are brain washed by a failed regime and bunch of belly dancers.
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 12:05 am
Do you really speak Arabic? Think again. Your movies and belly dancers invaded the Arab world and caused only harm to the development of our nation. You are really a disgrace. As far as Gaza, assuming we do not speak Arabic we are not treators. We fought France for 132 years and got it out of our country. We can squize you in a day. Be careful you wyning women. You are speaking to nation of dignity adn a bunch of treators and cowards. If you think you are men why did not you come to Sudan? Our men came and found belly dancers delegated by their Mubarak family. Can you do better?
Our players kicked your ass and showed you that Algeria is a country of men and civilization. A civilization that understands football and plays it. A nation that does not hit the players of a foreign country to get ahead. With all you have done outside football you still could not qualify. As the President of Libya stated: you woke up the sleeping lion. Becareful zebra.
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 12:19 am

Keep crying like bitchs ,u started u deserve it
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 2:26 am
You Alegerian doggs wasted about 10 mins of the game in Cairo and Sudan. This was a dirty tactic and bad sportsmanship. All the Algerian players are dirty and were using dirty tactics to attack the egyptian players on the field in sudan.
Everytime u algerian doggs got a fowled (even though most of them were not deserved at all) u would take your fucken time getting up like little bitches. The game in sudan was one sided and our players felt threatened and under extreme pressure.
ALgerians killed egyptians in sudan and injured hundreds which shows that they are a bunch of low life dickheads and animals. Imagine use lost the game, I wander what would have happened, just take a moment and think about that.
Look Algeria will cop it in the world cup and will be eliminated and finish last in their group which will bring them to an even lower level. Who ever saids the Algerians are men is a a fukwit because men dont do such things and just know If we want to Fuck algeria we will them in every hole.
Some advise to the Algerians going in to the world cup
- grow some balls and play properly
- eat a dik
- book early tickets because use will be ready to pack your bags by the end of the second match
- feel more then welcome to bring knives and bats e.t.c. because this time use will be like bitchesplaying on neutral ground and in a proper country with proper security
Thanks!!!
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 11:44 am
You Egyptian footballers are bad losers and even player like Zaki who should have learn’t from England there is no racism in sport he has a bad attitude. If I were Portsmouth I won’t have with the team because he has not the nerves of a sportman, he only want to win by any means that is fair sport.
Algerian play fair and are just we had nn problem when you went to their country.
After you big liers said that they have given you food that gave you diahrea, you played 90 minutes without nappies.
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 3:34 pm
I am stating ONLY FACTS here.
Do you know the distance from Cairo Airport to the Vermont Airport Hotel is only 3 min by car!!!
Do you know that to get from the Airport to the Vermont Airport Hotel you don’t get into Cairo at all? In other words it is a highway.!!!
Do you know that there is no stones at all in the way from the airport to the hotel?
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 4:24 pm
Whther it is 3 minutes or 5 by car you are playing drama you must be Egyptian.
The fact that international players were injured by your supporters that is not fair and don’t blame it on anyone but the incompetence or complice of the Egyptian
police and organisers. In Algeria your supporters and players were well protected by even helicoptere. You call yourself civilised no-one else is calling you this .The son of your President o your future president I won’t be surprised is calling himself civikised ; is kidding himself. Send your police to North Africa to learn lessons about policing.
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 8:45 pm
with no insults algeria i applause your dirty game you did a good job stiffing the egyptians and putting them in frustration but remember this ………
Allah See what you are doing he knows your intentions fa fawk kol qaderin Qadeer!!!
And by the name of ALLAH the all mighty egyptians will be repented as we have been beforeagainst the jews because egyptians never had bad intentions for anyone……….
and Allah knows who is starting el Fitnah between egypt and algerians and the egyptian media must be excused for what they say they are only reflecting how much the egyptians are frustrated and annoyed for what happened to their brothers and sisters…knowing that if the “other” egyptians were there not a single algerian would have dared to do a thing they did because we sent you civilised people not people of war and angry mobs !!!

anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 9:14 pm
The only thing that is unacceptable is that you say you Egyptians are civilized that you were teaching us Algerians the language and many other things then now you say that we don’t have an identity and that we dont speak Arabic, well I am glad it is the case cause this show you what kind of teachers you are besides if civilized means you treat people like “zibala” (garbage) and rats and terrorist so no I dont want your civilazation as ours teach us how to respect and our original language which is BERBER is surely richer than yours as we can diversify the vocabulary without having to use colloquial or cheap words. As for your Artists, I despise them (not all of them though) they surely need to be taught manners and to use a good register of words, didn’t know they were so cheap, at least we know now that they are fabricated. I am so sorry that Egyptians reached such a cheap level. I am very proud to be Algerian.
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 9:43 pm
if you sent civilized people to Sudan as you say they would know how to talk they would have used a good language, they would have had the correct manners, and besides a footbal match is for the whole “chaab” people not only the Elite, in our country we are treated equally, hamdoulah everyone can afford to go to Sudan to support his team, not only the Artists. So far only the Artist spoke about what happened not one from the public, this is a shame, where is the public opinion? and why you dont want to accept that nothing happened in Sudan, the Head of Security declared that nothing happened so why lying ? think twice before saying anything like that plus use your common sense. besides we are a “mahzala” joke before the whole world.

WE ALGERIANS ARE FAMOUS AND REKNOWNED FOR BEING VERY PROUD, THIS IS OUR MAIN CHARACTERISTIC IN THE WHOLE WORLD, THEY ALL KNOW THIS . I HAVE NEVER HEARD THE SAME ABOUT EGYPTIANS. KHOUSSARA OUM EL DOUNIA REACHING THIS LEVEL OF BASENESS. YOU MUST NOT LISTEN TO YOUR MISLEADING MEDIA, IT CAUSES MORE FITNA THAN ANYTHING ELSE, WE USED TO BE ALL GOOD AND THEN SUDDENLY YOU REMEMBERED THAT WE ARE ALL SORTS OF ANIMALS, BARBARIANS……….ETC. HOW COME IT TOOK YOU SO LONG TO REALISE?? WAKE UP AND TAKE REFUGE IN OUR RELIGION MAY ALLAH GUIDE YOUR SENSES.
anonymous - November 24th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
Show me ANYTHING what you could be proud of! Just show me one thing!
Unlike Egyptians, Algerians have a big chip on their shoulders and because of this inferiority complex they truly believe they are special and the leaders of the Arab world just because of one game of soccer.
Wake up guys! Playing every 23 years at the world cup does not change what you are. Remember that when you fly home from S-Africa after the first round after you’ve made yourself the laughing stock of the Arab world.

El Cid says,
At no point did Algeria claimed or claims to be the Arab nations leader ;That’s left for oum dounia to think it is.
Any Algerian will tell it is only a soccer game ,nothing else; It’s your crazed media that is feeding you all this crap.
Life of Algerians didn’t begin on waiting on Egypt ;The Nasser government Facilitated the location of the GPRA in Cairo ;No Algerian said there was no Egyptian help;It is your crazed media and some lofty in the mind Egyptian that think they have done more than what it really was.
The game is over ,no amount of insults and I am loftier than you is going to change this .Since you are the Intellectuals of the Arab world use it and show us the way .
Egypt is a great nation but some of it leaders have show a lack of gray matter for trying to tie a soccer game to insure a polital gain .Think ,Think again there is no gain in antagonizing Algeria ,nor our leaders nor our people think this more than a game and the fun we had on this blog cannot be paid with the gold of the pharoah..
Have a laugh .enjoy your tea ,breath the air and say to yourself life is a lot enjoyable and greater than a soccer game ..that will tell a lot about Egypt than all the insults ,no matter how hilarious they may be to you, will ..
Egyptians are known for their tempered manner ,but somehow they let a soccer game get under their skin ..too bad maybe than can rectify their mistakes and go on ..Good luck to every Egyptian that shared this blog and I hope you see better days for you first and the Football team next (maybe in Angola) ..
Ila kol el ikhwa fi masr hadiya hakika min djazairi hakik .. moubara riyadhia la takun ibara likol el oukhouwa madhia and fil moustakbal.
Good luck to all …Have fun and take care of your family..

El Cid says,

watch media 1 sat 44 hours ago on a news coverage they got some algerian pig head saying that the reign of egypt as a n arab leader is out and its now the turnfor the algerians and insists on insulting the egyptian civilians by pointing to poverty and grave dwellers i saw him and had a small flag of algeria claiming that this is the flag of the arabs and daring an egyptian to diss it well i think the algerians disses their flag first by burning the egyptian flag!!!
anonymous - November 25th, 2009 at 1:18 am
I am not an Egyptian not I am an Algerian, but what’s fair is fair.. Doesn’t seem like most of the folks in here have a clue!! First, for the ignorant who says “Why is the decider being played so near to one country and so far from another? Surely that is blatantly unfair?”, this was a toss by FIFA.. Algeria picked Tunisia and Egypt picked Sudan; and a toss took place accordingly!
Second.. For those who thinks it was an offside.. Take a look at the reply; the camera did not show the Egyptian player receiving the ball at the same time the pass was kicked; in the reply it clearly shows that it was NOT an offside!
Now, for what “allegedly” happened in Cairo or what happened in Sudan.. both sides been saying so and so injured and so and so got killed and all kind of nonsense! Can someone please show me a video with an Algerian throwing a rock on an Egyptian or an Egyptian throwing something on an Algerian?!!
There are tons of pictures available on the internet for the Algerian players after their arrival in Egypt and prior to the match with no scratch on them!! But yet, the players wanted to look like a victim in the match and wrapped their heads with some band to look like if they were injured!
In my honest opinion, both teams should NOT go to the world cup.. This is ridiculous and really idiotic!
anonymous - November 25th, 2009 at 1:21 am
Could that be the next Egyptian film production ..Movie of the year perhaps ..

terrorists from Hezbollah planning a terrorist attack in Cairo and got busted by the National Security (actually they were busted two blocks away from my home)
later the investigations lead that they were planning this under the name of al ikhwan el mosleemeen of Egypt in a time the nation was being pushed into problems between muslims and christians of Egypt although i never felt this problem except through foreign media i have both muslim and christian friends and they are all nice to me i am a muslim el-7amdollelah………
just follow the crack up in the Arab worlds QATAR insisting that Iran be a part of the ARAB nations LEAGUE Egypt refuses and most arab Leaders attend the Meeting held at Sharm El-sheikh ….. Iran is not happy!!

Retryboy - November 25th, 2009 at 2:47 am
Never heard such a pack of wankers! This is a football forum not political and not for hate mongering or racism! On that subject both of your countries are shit at football so who cares which one of you is taking the place of one of the decent footballing nations that will be missing out. Judging by the comments though none of you care about the game just an excuse to hurl insults at each other…pathetic!

The great footballing nation missing the WC is your country ..,I am sure there is a blog fot the greatness ,so leave us pathetic people alone and go scream your frustation somewhere else ..don’t care? then why bother..
anonymous - November 26th, 2009 at 11:39 am
Let’s use Eid-al-Adha to remember our common values and put all alleged or true wrongdoings behind us (as much as possible) – even if it means to swallow some pride
anonymous - November 26th, 2009 at 12:27 pm
NYOKA
I agree with RETRYBOY n also blame FIFA and CAF. What do they have to loose by banning these countries from playing at home for at least two yrs or more and teach their respective fans a good way of life. both nations got a cancer that need an immediate remedy.(eg egypt vs zimbabwe in 94 or so when egytpion fans pelted zim players n the coach).
Fifa Caf wakeup may we need new leadership.
anonymous - November 26th, 2009 at 10:25 pm
You and retryboy are not going to teach anyone anything ,you will do good to teach yourselves …If you think your countries are a football powerhouses they should already be qualified ..Since that is not the case ..go pipe your dreams somewhere else ..Retry again !!
anonymous - November 27th, 2009 at 5:02 pm
Retryboy- i am english and we are well and truly qualified thank you very much. Don’t care except we still have to read the racist, political bickering at the bottom of the screen. Then we are going to have to put up with 1 of your teams at the world cup because its apparently fair having so many teams from africa, so many from asia why not just seed everyone based on performance and if you were good enough you would get through the groups and the group stages of the world cup would be worth watching again. Continue with your political debate you may solve world hunger!
anonymous - November 28th, 2009 at 9:31 pm
That’s the whole idea ..there is group stages ..Maybe you just realized that .Nothing is a given get to earn it .As for world hunger ,no country can point the finger to the other .They all need to do more, including England.
anonymous - December 1st, 2009 at 12:55 am
As much as anyone can say that there are some small remarks to be made about your exact arguments (such as number of algerians injured or number of minutes played in overtime), I generally agree with you completely on this topic. When the Egyptian players arrived in Algeria, they were treated as kings compared to how the Algerians were treated in Egypt. It sickens me to see the kind of attitude some (I repeat, some) egyptian fans take in order to win what should be a friendly soccer game. By the way, if anyone wants to question the facts stated above, the french station canal plus documented and followed the Algerian soccer team as it played each game. What I mention above is merely an abstract of the countless videos you see online and the documentaries given by the national french tv station, Canal +. The way that the Egyptian government failed to take decisive action to prevent such a mess was sickening. Even to this moment, the egyptian media is making claims about the Algerian public that are not true. However, I do respect the Algerian government because they don’t have settle things using words. The algerian media is not openly making unjustified claims about the egyptian media or government. It is up to Fifa to decide the course of action that should be taken. Again, I hope fifa serves justice to the two teams.
anonymous - December 1st, 2009 at 6:38 am
look morons egypt didnt do anything when they arrived in egypt there was police control over 50,000 suits controling the stadium and nothing happened no people were killed or injured and in sudan it was those 40,000 algerian fans who attacked egypt and we have proofs of videos and pics and almost all of our cinema actors were their u guys live in europe and usa or asia u dont know anything u just listen to the media and believe it wake up!!
anonymous - December 1st, 2009 at 6:41 am
u just get everything wrong we had our women children parents killed and raped in sudan have mercy its all upside down fkin asholes
anonymous - December 1st, 2009 at 1:38 pm
There is an algerian who is calling egyptians SCUM, shame on you, is this what you learned at school or you don’t know the meaning of school, any ways, we will wait for the fifa decision althought it is has decisions that are away from being fare

anonymous - December 4th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
It is really heart breaking to see Arabs and Muslims fighting for a football match! While people in Palestine are dying from hunger, lack of medicine or under an Israeli car wheel. When the judgment day comes and you will be asked what you have done to Muslims in Palestine what would you say! We were busy fighting for football match! What have you done to the Aqsa? Are you defending it as you know defending (I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO CALL IT?) . Guys, look around you, use your brains, your brothers and sisters in Palestine needs your support even by Duaa’a. Allah yehdekon.
Arab/Muslim Guy.
anonymous - December 19th, 2009 at 7:36 pm
all what i know about egyptians is they all mouth but when it comes to the real thing they like bitches their tail between their legs , all what you do is talk throught your asses ,
if you were really men you wouldnt let your brothers and sisters in gaza starve you fuck face
anonymous - December 20th, 2009 at 6:40 pm
Heyyy! it is a mere football match ,Algeria won and Egypt lost
it’s clear that some egyptiens hit algerians and algerians did the same, this happens all the times everywhere,so why are we exaggerating so far?
I still wonder why EgYPTIANS ARE STILL LOOKIN for their”dignity” if Al ahly and Al zamalik are still killin each other?
anonymous - December 21st, 2009 at 10:33 am
And now egypt is building the most shameful thing on earth: a wall to close gaza completely. Egyptians must be ashamed to say we are arabs and muslims. You are killing a whole population in gaza, egyptians must do something to stop the coming slow genocide.
anonymous - December 21st, 2009 at 10:52 am
Even the natzis did not build a wall around a whole population! Why are you listening to the isarelis and obeying them like slaves? Egyptians free yoursefl and raise up to the cheap govt of moubarak and sons.
Italy.
anonymous - January 6th, 2010 at 7:44 pm
hey guys i have discovered that there was a fifa delegate was in a bus with the algerians players.go the FIFA blog to find out what he witnessed.
algerians should make a petition to put pressure on FIFA so that the egyptians will never cheat and lie again.
you need to put FIFA under preasure because if those incidents happened against england, france, italy….egypt will never play football.
stand up algerians, your government is not going to do it for you.
anonymous - January 11th, 2010 at 5:35 pm
Latest comment above. Any fictional explanations ya banat oum a dounya?
anonymous - January 11th, 2010 at 5:38 pm
It’s funny we hear no more from the egyptians? Maybe they are slowly realising what their government and media is reall like? Shame on you for your treatment of palestenians…WE BEAR WITNESS TO ALL YOU DO…what a great country and nation you are!!!!!
anonymous - January 13th, 2010 at 5:05 am
Dear Algerians: I don’t care much about Egyptians to start with, I had the chance to witness some of your behaviour & reactions in Cairo,Alger & Khartoum, simply your are the best……………best in mob affair & lies.
I am not talking about soccer at all, specially after your defeat to Malawi which is a non classified african team.
To make this short, In November I terminated almost half of the Algerian work force in my company after paying all their dues. They only have been terminated and paid but not humilated as I was told you did to your foreign workers.
After reading more of your recent comments, obviously I had to worry keeping more maniac(k!) in my company, so the remaining are being terminated and sent back home.
Last word, I read more talks about Egyptians and their relation with Israel & Jews. I would recoomend that Algerians stop talking which we know it is cheap to do and I would recommend to them coming to the holy lands to show jews your advanced athletic performance in running long distance and long jump towards your desert.
anonymous - January 28th, 2010 at 11:07 pm
That’s it! Egypt gelded Algeria for good!
anonymous - January 31st, 2010 at 6:58 pm
egyptians are just mother of fuckers
anonymous - February 1st, 2010 at 11:03 am
Algeria will never admit their loss, however we all watched the match with wide open eyes and saw how well the Egyptians played and the Algerians were actually fighting kicking the players and not the ball. they are loosers and will always be loosers and will gain nothing in the world cup. hadn’t been for their vulgar and barbarian attitude no one of their players would’ve been kicked out but they got what they deserved and if you don’t know what happened in Sudan ask but don’t bullshit people with your nonesense!
anonymous - February 1st, 2010 at 9:24 pm
CONGRATS to Egypt who sucked it up and collected the African championship for the 7th time and 3 times in a row, putting them at rank 9 worldwide.
ALL and really ALL that is left to Algeria is that they are going to South Africa. Just that. No dignity, no honor, no respect – a Pyrrhic victory, indeed.
anonymous - February 4th, 2010 at 6:31 pm
To the one who insulted Algerian girls. It is not us who have half naked belly dancers in every cafe and every bar and every corner of the street.
You have to look closer to your home for that. Again it is not us who provided the American armee with prostitues during the 1st Iraq war. Your country if full of hot whores, there is more of them than there is broad been seeds in you country and a lot of people from all over the world know that. Here now your crap pointing back at you. About football, yes FIFA has been inactive and there in no way the players could have staged it as a journalist from canal+ filmed it (French TV for your ignorant mind). So stop posting your idiotic, bainwashed, biased views from a dictatureship that is rotten with hypocisie.
