Inter and Arsenal could be about to enter negotiations for a deal that would see Mario Balotelli swap places with Francesc Fabregas.
According to Tuttosport, Balotelli’s relationship with coach Jose Mourinho has become strained this season, and the Italian striker could be put on the transfer market. (Various)
So once again we are being linked with the impending loss of Cesc Fabregas, something us Arsenal fans are regularly greeted with across the tabloids and websites that like to discuss such far fetched suggestions, on this occasion though Barcelona are not involved, which is at least a blessing.
On this occasion the rumour mill is suggesting that Jose Mourinho is hoping to persuade Arsene Wenger to part with our most prized asset and in return Inter Milan would give us a large sum of money, reportedly as much as £33m as well up and coming striker Mario Balotelli, who seems forever at odds with his boss, and as well as the Italian Under 21 attacker we are to be offered, yes you guessed it, our former hero Patrick Vieira!
Now these stories have been banded about among some of the less sensationalist sections of the Italian press and are therefore supposedly based in some sort of reality but whilst it may well be the case that the Italian giants would very much like such a deal to be completed it just hasn’t got a hope in hell of becoming a reality.
If, and this is a big double decker sized IF, Cesc left Arsenal sometime in the far distant future then I do think it will be to return to Barcelona, I don’t think it will happen this side of his 30th birthday, but it could happen, I don’t for one second see our captain leaving us to give Serie A a try, it just doesn’t seem to be something he would even consider.
On the other hand Mario Balotelli is just the type of player that I can imagine that Wenger is keeping a very close eye on so perhaps we could make an offer for the youngster as I think he has a great deal of potential and its the kind of potential that Jose Mourinho doesn’t appear able, or inclined, to mould successfully.

Just let him go. Anyway he is not the best in the world, omi. Its a fucking good bargain. Why not ? We have plenty of player who can play better in that position (Arshavin, Rosicky & Nasri). Remember no one is bigger than the club.

a lousy team? you moron. aren’t Inter Milan one of the great European clubs of all time? they’ve won 17 scudettos and twice as many champions leagues as arsenal and chelsea put together.
(he won’t be joining them, however, because as soon as he leaves arsenal, he’s going back home to spain)
anonymous - November 23rd, 2009 at 9:27 am

Arsenal have won the EPL 13 times, and a total of 37 domestic league wins compared to Inter having only 26.
Plus Inter haven’t done well in any European cup in the last 10 years.

The fact is that Inter are a very, very boring team to watch, as are all Mourinho’s teams. Fans are falling away in epic numbers and the shadow of corruption still taints the Italian game. Quite simply, no-one wants to watch Italian football any more and the only reason that players go there is for the money as there are so many under-the-table backhanders to be had.

Are you a idiot arsenal have not won the PREMIER LEAGUE 13 times and they haven’t won 37 domestic titles. They have won 3 EPL titles and 13 league titles put together so get ur facts straight u idiot.
Inter are and always have been a bigger club than arsenal but cesc fabregas won’t go there he only wants a move to barcelona so he can play for a side who actually have a chance of winning trophies. Hell arsenal will lose him and van persie within the next 18 months with wenger not far behind then North London will be dominated by Spurs again.

When has North London ever been dominated by Spurs.
Spurs like Man City with Man United will forever be in our shadow.

Inter are not better than Arsenal FOR SURE, MAYBE just maybe they may have been more successful in a lesser league, BUT there are not many clubs in the world better than the top 4 in England and Inter isnt one of them, LA LIGA is probably the ONLY league with tems that pose a threat to English clubs, and EVEN their league is not as consistant as the Prem!
Fabregas wont leave, hes too young HOWEVER if we dont win silverware this season then Wenger has to back up the squad with another CF at least or Fab might question Wengers policy.
WHEN do you hear Arsenal players saying ‘we need to spend’ like chelski or Utd???
PPL are talking of a two-horse race WHEN we have the same points as Utd for the games played!, IF we win at chelski THEN ppl will eat their words…
If RVP was fit then id be backing us to win, we need to play Vela and or Walcott to have a chance i reckon, Eduardo plys well with Vela on the left creating chances, and this TIME Shava STARTS or at least comes on in the first half!!!
we are the underdogs, with some pace on the wings and Eduardo up front ON FORM then we can easily win…

i think these story,s are made up by the media to sell papers.jose mourinho is on the verge of losing his job in the summer the italions press is fed up with him so is the fans.yes he has won them the league but not the champions league thats wat inter desire.they were more exciting under reberto manchini.he to won the league excitingly but lost his job for the faliure of winning the european cup.jose has wasted inters money in the transfer market as it is so why will they give that much money to sign fabregas?he signed reberto mancini for 15 million of roma also ricardo queresma for 22 million a player who he has been chasing for three years.and niether of them play for inter.i think wenger and fabregas have agreed that he will remain at the club for time being when he does eventually go he will go to barcelona the club where he came from or poached by wenger at the age of 15.i personally think he will go with arsene blessing this summer.not bad bit of buisiness for arsenal, they already got a tailor made replacement in merida in my opinion hes alot better and wenger knows this aswell.

Boring, these have been circulating for years and y wood wenger swap our best player, with someone who is basicly Italys Adebayor, we didn’t want Adebayor y wood we want Balotelli. Dzeko could be the answer if we can persuade him 2 join. Perhaps Cartlon Cole if he can be consistent enough
anonymous - December 9th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
take the deal…arsenal is crap team..you have never won CL…you can’t even won epl…you are too bad…JOIN INTER AND MAKE SOME HISTORY CESC!!
anonymous - December 19th, 2009 at 3:59 am
No, Cesc. Either stay with Arsenal or go to Barca. Inter is good, but Barca is the way to go, unless Wenger brings in new players like Van der Vaart, Bojan, maybe even Gourcuff (unlikely, I know, but wouldn’t that be sick?). Oh, and grab either Rene Adler or Manuel Neuer while you. Almunia and Fabianski suck.
