Think what he said made perfect sense, that he has seen other players put in weak performances constantly and get picked every game(kuyt/lucas) that rafa offers him nothing constructive only that he has to train hard, be patient and… You can guarantee “focus” after seeing the lack of insight in every rafa press conference and statement you can be assured this is true. The players that rafa criticises are our best…gerrard, torres need to improve yet praise gets heaped constantly for years on lucas and kuyt and they get picked over players that have done more in the 15 minutes they are allowed than the 15 games that these 2 have had. If this frustrates and confuses us as fans the players that for whatever reason aren’t rafa’s pet favourites(usually because they are creative/attacking) and are waiting patiently as their career goes down the pan have every right to reach the end of their tether you can guarantee under rafa the squad is full of these tormented souls just they have that bit of faith left that rafa will see the wood for the trees and know that saying anything will wipe away that glimmer of a chance. Rafa stays we will lose a player for £6m who will go on to be worth £30m played in the right position

i`m not disputing the points he makes and I`d agree with alot he said however I think hes shown his true colour in his timing. we are going through one of the worse time in our club history. Anyone will tell you that when the chips are down what gets you out is the team or squad sticking together before this crucial game.
If he said it after the game when we won or he did`nt play then i`d agee but not now. Its stupid timing and selfish of him. He puts himself before the club and to make matters worse 2 weeks ago he was screaming about staying and fighting for his position. Who was that for?

Gotta agree with you there chosen one just seems like he has been biting his tongue for years and just blew but agreed on the terrible timing if the comments were correct seems strange after he actually got a start even if it was on the left.
