France Vs Ireland – That Roy Keane Interview: I Couldn’t Agree More (Video)
by Mad Dog and Glory on November 23rd, 2009 137 words | 4 commentsYou don’t mess with Roy Keane, not as a manager and never as a player. You certainly don’t leave your mobile phone on when you are at a press conference with the Ipswich Town boss, that’s practically suicidal. Anyway back to the gist of what the former Ireland international is saying, couldn’t agree more. Yes Ireland were cheated out of a shot at reaching the World Cup but they were never going to get a replay. Keane also makes a good point about a penalty they won against Georgia which defies belief.

The penalty Ireland were awarded against Georgia can be seen below, and if you can tell me why this was a penalty then you are a better man than I.

replayed the penalty incident 20 times, and not a single time that I felt it was a penalty..It’s really stupid but even the linesman sided with the Ireland players..Where is the fairplay that they demanded when against France?atleast henry had asked for their forgiveness, did Robbie Keane(i guess, didn’t see clearly)ask from Georgia their forgiveness?Eventhough I hate Roy Keane as I’m a Gunners fan,but I respect his honesty eventhough it’s his own country..

Someone, please explain how the peno against Georgia has anything to do with the handball against France? It’s just ol’ Keano the Twat taking a jab at the FAI and even at some of the boys on the squad. Why would anyone take anything this sad bitter boy says without a huge grain of salt? Of course there’s no replay, but at least the Irish sacked up enough to cry foul when there were FOUR on the play that sends the French through!

Before giving justice lessons to others make sure your behaviour is alright. This match was a key one in the qualification if you want to replay ireland france then why not replaying ireland georgia only then you can speak about what’s right or not.
