Dammit Rooney. Why didn’t you score one! Would have preferred a 1-1 draw. At least in the short term. Long term this is probably the best result.
Insult retracted. Good job Rooney.

Anon 11.20 ok till you get 3 injuries then you have to drag people out the crowd. Or when another tournament starts then you all get tired was keeping fourth warm for ages last year too wasn’t you?
Aquaman - December 13th, 2009 at 12:10 am
Ouch, Retryboy. I almost don’t have the heart to tell him that they’re actually third. Still, fair play to them. No Macheda to rob them this time.
Retryboy - December 13th, 2009 at 12:59 am
Can’t believe the way things have gone 2day aquaman… Start of the day looked like anything less than a win tomorrow and we would be 6/7 points adrift of fourth(with the games in hand) after 2day a win tomorrow and we are right back in the mix. Think its important aquilani, gerrard, torres and benayoun start for the lift to the crowd too because if 2day has got the fans buzzing the players must know the chance they have!!
Aquaman - December 13th, 2009 at 1:06 am
Yup. Its been quite a day.
Though this may sound pessimistic, it does also mean that tomorrows game is not a “must win” game anymore. Still, I can see the chance for glory here, and you can bet your bottom dollar that the lads can see it too. This is a chance to show all those doubters that we’re not dead and we still in the top 4!
Can’t wait for the game. Arsenal always bring the best out of us and vice versa. And with so much at stake its going to be a cracker!
Retryboy - December 13th, 2009 at 1:22 am
Was saying earlier good thing about arsenal apart from the openness is that they play high tempo that means we have no choice but to and thats when we are at our best. Think it is a must win still we can’t keep wasting opportunities to catch up, they aren’t going to keep coming. Plus its all the mental thing we have only beaten united of any note in 23 games. We’ve had boost-aquilani debut boost-results today boost-torres return might be clutching at straws but if momentum is gonna start thats got to do it. Rafa has to do the business with the team selection though love the pressure from aquilani “i am 100% certain my ankle is ok, i want to play.” “i need to play, play, play” “there is no chance of any problem with my ankle i hope to play, i am fit to play.” think he wants to play lol

ManUre supporters bashed Eduardo but when their boy dives is fair play. Rooney always has the English press to protect him.I wonder if the press will give him the same treatment as Eduardo this time around. I don’t think so…
anonymous - December 13th, 2009 at 2:59 am
Ngog got it pretty bad too from the media. Theres no way Rooney will get the same treatment just because he’s English and plays for man u.
Good to see them get beat but Villa were lucky that united squandered chances.

Rooney dives, Gerrard dives, Ronaldo dives. But when Eduardo does it he’s the biggest cheat in the world. The Gooners r on ur arse, watch out United you and Chelsea gave us a platform, If we keep up winning ways then beat u in January, Chelsea in Febuary ( They just need watch sum highlights) and get a new striker we could do it this year. Don’t care if he’s cup tied 4 Champs League i wood prefer Premiership

aAaaaston villa ole ole ole ole ole ole ole. man u will win the prem over my dead body. if ya hate man u stand up if ya hate man u stand up if ya hate man ustand up. How does man u always manage to make a come back when they are like 2-0 down. How come only this game we had a good ref instead all the other times the ref does the opposite of what hes supposed to do. They never plauy the advantage on offside.
