Good grief………….could the Gunners be seriously playing to win something this year????????????????? How they do this week in and week out with serious injury absences, very young players and still being written off by every “expert”,pundit, two-bit journalist and even SAF (the only real expert among the bunch).
Wenger has real doubts about brining anyone in during the transfer window and I can see why, however if Diaby is out and he loses Song to the African Cup, he may need to shore up the midfield a little. What is amazing is that, even with their “best”strikers out, Arsenal, time and time again come up with goals. 51 in fact ,over 19 league games, an average of 2.7 goals/EPL match!
This wasn’t a really demanding game and he chose to rest some key players ahead of the Bolton match but Arsenal seem to have the depth and their “reserve” players have the class to take on most EPL teams. Barring further injuries (a true nightmare so far this season) and with a successful return to form by those coming back from injury layoffs, this could be a very,very rewarding season indeed.
