Bacary Sagna’s agent claims Inter Milan could move for his client should Maicon leave to join Real Madrid.
Brazil international Maicon has long-since been linked with a move away from the San Siro, with Madrid and a host of Premier League clubs monitoring his situation in Italy.
Should Maicon seek pastures new at the end of the season then Inter could train their sights on Arsenal right-back Sagna, at least according to his agent.
France international Sagna has proved a real success in England since moving to Arsenal in 2007 from Auxerre.
Speculation in the past has intimated Inter boss Jose Mourinho is a fan of the 26-year-old and could make a raid on Arsenal should he ever require a right-back.
Sagna’s agent, Christophe Mongai, claims Inter are very much aware of his player’s capabilities.
“Sagna has attracted big interest from Inter Milan,” he told Le Quotidien du Foot. (Sky Sports)
This is not the first time that Bacary Sagna’s agent has tried to drum up interest in the Emirates right back and it is getting a little tiresome. The £16m full back has previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid, something the French International’s representative was instrumental in trying to get off the ground and this latest attempt is yet more proof, if needed, that players agents are perhaps the lowest form of life on Planet Earth.
You have to take into account that the former Auxerre man has only recently signed a long term contract to stay at Arsenal until 2014 so you have to wonder just what has motivated Mongai to come out and try to court and create interest in his client. This is typical agent behaviour and shows just how they are on the whole just out to screw their players out of a transfer fee percentage and only live for the day that they’re clients can make yet another lucrative move.
The Arsenal defender has proved to be a great acquisition and he has made the right back slot his own but seems constantly linked with a potential money spinning move and the player himself hasn’t helped much in that regard by consistently failing to nip any such talk in the bud by simply either a) saying he isn’t going anywhere or b) sacking his agent.
Arsene Wenger will not be best pleased by the actions of Bacary’s rep and will no doubt have a word with the 26 year old.

I have no problem if Sagna goes to Inter for £16m!!! We look to be bringing in Cesar from Osasuna in the summer and Remy from Nice so we will as always re-build with great talent. Half the cash plus Davide Santon would be great for us!!!

Strikes me that Sagna has been playing on his first season reputation recently and if 16 million were available i say take it.

Take Clichy too, make it 30million package, two fullbacks who can’t cross the ball. Gibbs is excellent, I wouldn’t mind if he became our starting left-back. Traore has flaws, but at least delivers a nice cross in the final third. Botelho is coming in.
On right back, I think Eboue is better than Sagna going forward, and Coquelin showed he can deputize there for a season to get some experience.
If someone wants to overpay for Sagna or Clichy, let them go.

If Sanga does go (which I highly doubt), give us Santon. Someone who Inter doesn’t fully use to his potential, he should follow the example of Gourcuff and get out of MIlan and go to a club which will play him. Santon has a bright future and we’re the ones who should take him if we lose Sanga. If not Santon, Gonzalo Castro is a possibility too

Why would anyone -especially a black person leave the stability at Arsenal and Arsene Wenger to play in Milan where even my granny knows Mourinho is leaving next season and face rascism and corruption week in week out?

No chance ! Why would Bacary want to join an italian team from a no no league.
Milan isnt sexy any more, might have been a few years ago but not now.
He’s playing in the best league in the world with one of the biggest clubs on the planet. Why would any player want to leave that ?
