Manchester United tore apart Arsenal at the Emirates to maintain the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea. Two goals in the space of three minutes just before the break blew away the Gunners and a killer third early in the second half ended the game as a contest.
The Old Trafford outfit were purring and a clever goal from Nani, that may well go down as a Manuel Almunia own goal, gave Sir Alex’s side the lead and then just two minutes later Wayne Rooney scored a cracker after some good approach work from the England international and Nani.
The second half started much the same way the first ended and Ji-Sung Park took advantage of some very bad marking from Arsenal to put Manchester United into an unassailable three goal lead. Thomas Vermaelen scored a consolation for the north London side thanks to a huge deflection.

Yeah Wenger… we dont need strikers… Nyways T prof lans o win t Prem (Or rather ny trophy only by 2020)….
so lookin at t scheme of things… until then we dont hav to buy nybody… we just need to say this kid looks good… tat kids got potential blah blah blah…
We’re indirectly scouting talent all over t world n servin them on a platter to other european giants who want to win a thing or 2…not play eye candy football n go trophyless season after season unlike us…
BYE BYE Fabregas… Im sure ur So called Motherland Club wud find t perfect excuse to get u this time around… n t worst thing is tat t prof’ll let him go for far lesser than wat he’s worth…
Pathetic Prof…

Calvo…
Very much enjoyed the game and Arsenal can consider themselves unfortunate not to have scored more but on th eother hand so can UTD.
But what a performance from Nani especially in 1st half!
And I felt Rafael grew into game the longer it went on.
The speed and composure for Rooneys and Parks goals…QUALITY!!!!!

Here’s what we have lads….a leaky defense, a 2nd rate goalkeeper, an inconsistent midfield and impotent strikers all playing football like it was ballet but crumbling when challenged by a harder-working, highly motivated squad. the transfer window is about to close and it is too late to bring in anyone up front that is going to make a difference. 2 key games, 1 point….with 2 more games that are both harder and likely to end up the same. If we get 1-3 more points out of the next 2 games we might be lucky. This is definitely NOT EPL Champions statistics. However Arsenal have been here before and can turn it around as they did in November. They must start winning key games at home against the big 3 and must find a way of obtaining better defensive results. Imagine Vermaelen scoring 7 goals this year and he is a central defender!!! Where are Walcott, Bendtner, Rosicky, Eduardo, et.al.?
ManU and Chelsea will drop points but will they drop enough for Arsenal to catch them? Arsenal still lack the spine they need to win silverware and unless they find that backbone with what they are condemned to send out every week until May, they can kiss any chance of trophies goodbye for another year!

man utd line up wasn’t the strongest. but super Nani played like CR9. theres no need 4 him at united and we don’t miss him 1 bit. the way he just swooped past the 2 defenders and then chipped towards the goal was exactly what ronaldo would have done. completely destroyed arsene and arsenal with his amazing through ball 2 rooney. and then js park blasted down the field to scoop it into the net. this is our (united’s) golden age, where rooney scores goals galore, park kicks butt, and nani is the ronaldo, with giggs and evra and van der sar shining as usual, along with valencia and neville, vidic, fletcher carrick, berbatov and the rest of united’s A team.

Arsene Wenger is still the best coach for young talent anywhere. He is also stubborn, not dealing with gaping holes on his team, that could be filled quckly by spending some money. He can also be tactically naive.
He chose a wrong game against Man U., instead of being more patient, waiting for opportunities to counterattack, he sent all his midfielders up creating a acres of space for Rooney to exploit. Why didn’t he put someone to shadow Rooney?
Does Arshavin believe in his own greatness and does he work hard between games? Can anyone teach Sagna how to find his own players with a killer pass? Anyway, a great game it was and SAF outsmarted Arsene W. once more. Arsenal lost, the game of football won.

We are not good enough. Simples. Thats 9pts lost against top rivals. 3pts against City. 12 points lost against strong teams. A point vs Villa, 14pts lost on good competition. I am resigning myself to another trophyless season, we maybe better than Spurs, Villa and City, but not as good as Chelsea and United. Fact

Man U is luck?! haha u tool! have u been watchin any footy?!
Arsenal havent won anythink since 05 i think, explain to me what part of that is great, Arsene is naive, he is too busy claiming the future will be great, maybe it will, but right now, you cant say much. Really dont like “the prof” for one thing, he has the priminister of france for conferences in emirate, wats that about, all he does is bitch and moan, then when a decision goes his way, such as a penalty not being awarded to the opposition, he turns round sayin “ehhh i did not see it”…conveniant. Also all his complainin bout no yellow cards in the home leg, sayin these intentional fouls are worse than diving, wat is he talkin about! granted maybe Fletcher should have recieved a yellow, but his players diving is worse!
Being a Man U fan, i will admit that i am biased, SAF im sure has his faults to other fans, but i love him! Gunna be hard to replace!
Nani, had a great game, no doubt, but give it a bit before we all start sayin he is the new ronaldo!
Being an Englishman, you gotta admire Rooney, fantastic player!
Great game
Looking forward to champions league, specially return leg with Becks coming home!

Today at Ewood Park Nani was woeful. Barbetov useles should go back to Totenham but not sure if would be happy with place on the bench because he is useless. Costed Man U to the happiness of True Blues & Gunners.
