Gael Clichy has called on Arsenal to keep fighting until the very end of the season and dig in as a response to the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
Speaking to Arsenal.com, the French left-back said:
“It is even more complicated now to win the league but we have to keep fighting until the end.
“We have seen since the start of the season, everyone can drop points against anyone. Of course, it would have been better to win [on Sunday] and against Man United but that is the way it is. We have to keep going. We need to be more decisive in the right moments and the best thing to do is to carry on fighting.
“The rule in sport is when you want to be the best, after every defeat you have to ask the right questions to yourself and the team. You have to go again and dig in. That is what we are going to start doing again in training because it is only with hard work and a bit of luck that things can happen. Maybe then we can go somewhere.”
While many believe Arsenal’s title bid is now over, the fact that they have the easiest run-in compared to the other title challengers, who still have to play each other, leaves hope lingering around Arsenal Camp.
With 13 matches left, and 39 points up for grabs, it is a big ask for Arsenal and mostly out of their hands. Arsenal have previous form for going on long unbeaten runs, but winning 13 in a row, starting with Liverpool at the Emirates on Wednesday night, might just be a step too far.
What do you think? Can Arsenal still win the title?

i believe we can win anything. and at this stage, even realistically the end is far from sight. and for all those myopics out there, put on ur glasses. anything more than 85 points puts arsenal in contention for title race. and that is so very possible at the moment. i hate to emphasize these points, but i need to convince myself aswell. not that care of ur short sight.

The tough fixtures in succession are always going to paint a bleak picture.
There is still every thing to play for.
I expect us to make up ground again with these out of the way and all the top teams still to play one another.
Liverpool will get a hammering on Wednesday night.
Believe that!

Clichy calls for Arsenal to “Dig in” what the hell is he talking about? a manicure.
Arsenal play the second prettiest football in the world but unless you have chaps by the name of Ray Parlour in your lineup the digging in does not apply. Arsenal have not been the Arsenal of old and are too small and cute to dig anything other than bloody sandcastles.
Clichy will hope that Drogba and Nani don’t book the same summer holiday as he does or he will be digging into his pocket to pay his damn shrink for help with the nightmares.
Cheers, Sausage.
ps. I don’t hate Arsenal, I just wish they would shoot the fucking ball rather than walk it in the gaol with style.

If we won the Carling Cup next year I wouldn’t complain. Until Wenger wins us something I will have complaints, if he buys and fails what a waste of money, if he doesn’t and fails he should of bought someone. If he buys someone and we win something because of a player what great buisness, if he doesn’t and we win something, hey he save dus a lot of money.

Here’s a translation more or less: the truth is that we lost 2 key games against Chelsea and United for the EPL title, we beat Liverpool when they weren’t in form but lost to City as well. the truth is that Wenger is a big talker but a poor loser and I don’t know what is going on in his head.
nasri poor ,walcott a revelation? sagna sharp, gallas loses his allure, song frustrated, fabregas alone against the world, vermaelen courageous, clichy improving, bentner afraid, arshavin isolated, rosisky far from his best, eboue wants to, almunia not an EPL keeper, slow and poor reflexes, why doesn’t he play Mannone from the bench after the frustratingly poor showing of Fabianski at Stoke? Ramsey is never used, denilson is out of it , diaby the same, eduardo isn’t an attacker and is indifferent during this spell. We need classy and experienced players to save cesc, arsha, van persie, vermaeln, mannone, ramsey and some others who should quit the club..enough experimenting with children labour in the EPL, while they play nice Football,we only win against the worst teams in the EPL ,Wenger should pay attention.

GET A GRIP CLICHY… our Challange for t prem is over… t only thing to look fwd 2 this season is to finish in t top-4… n t only thing we’d be prayin to god in t summer is tat t transfer window gets shut quickly enuf so tat Cesc doesn’t leave…
