Russian football championship: CSKA Moscow 1-0 Amkar Perm

The Serbian international has caught the eye of Europe’s elite this season with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, AC Milan, Liverpool and Bayern Munich all tracking the highly-rated 25-year-old.
Krasic’s current deal in Russia expires at the end of the season and the attacking midfielder has eyes on a move to Spain after describing Real as the ‘biggest club in the world’.
“For now I’m still a CSKA player and I haven’t signed for anybody yet,” he told Sportski Zurnal. “But I have a lot of interesting options so I will make my mind up before World Cup.
“I would like to travel to South Africa with nothing on my mind.
“Where would I move? Well based on my playing style (and) lifestyle wishes I wouldn’t have any problems adapting to life in Spain.
“Real Madrid – it is by far the biggest club in the world and anybody would love to play in the white shirt.
“But also playing for AC Milan and Manchester United would be dreams come true.” (Team Talk)

It does seem highly likely that CSKA Moscow’s playmaker Milos Krasic is edging towards a departure from his Russian employers and a long queue is forming at his door and Sir Alex Ferguson is said to be one of the most likely to clinch the 25 year old’s signature.

Whilst the Serbian may well be pushing for a move the Bernabeu it doesn’t seem there would be a great deal of space in the La Liga giants midfield to fit the intelligent midfielder whereas Old Trafford may be a location that would be more open for his talents. With the ability to battle manfully for the ball as well as being able to push onwards up the pitch to support the attackers he has the attributes to fit in nicely at Manchester United who could well be looking to add more creativity to their midfield, especially having lost Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.

With Paul Scholes getting no younger and youngster Anderson failing to life up to early promise, perhaps a move for Milos Krasic would go a long way to helping the Premier League champions put the pressure on arch rivals Chelsea.

The question of money may be an important issue. With the Glazers lumbering the Old Trafford side with a mountain of debt it could be that Manchester United do not have the finances to mount a move for the £22m rated midfielder but at the same time the club’s owners may feel they have to show Sir Alex financial support for summer transfers otherwise they could become even more hated than they are now!
