Aston Villa and Tottenham rubbed their hands in glee as Manchester City and Liverpool played out a frustrating draw at Eastlands. In a game of low quality and few scoring chances the Anfield side dominated possession but lacked the cutting edge even when Fernando Torres came off the bench late on.
