White Hart Lane forward wants to leave the club.
Roman Pavlyuchenko looks set to return to Russia in the summer, even though he’s been in stunning form for Tottenham.
The striker has scored nine times in his last nine matches, resurrecting his career at White Hart Lane.
Lokomotiv Moscow remain interested in the 28-year-old after offering £10.5million in January, while Pavlyuchenko’s former club, Spartak, are also thought to be monitoring the situation.
Lokomotiv president Nikolai Naumov said: “We will definitely return to the idea of buying Pavlyuchenko in the summer. Let’s see then what the situation is with Tottenham, Lokomotiv and the player.” (Evening Standard)
Roman Pavlyuchenko is on a hot streak at the moment so you would be forgiven for thinking that the former Spartak Moscow would want to stay at White Hart Lane but the 28 year old is reportedly keen to return to Moscow and 28 year old has been targeted by both Lokomotiv and Spartak with a view to snapping up the £13m rated forward.
This term Roman has scored ten goals in seven starts this term and has forced his way back into Harry Redknapp’s reckoning but still wants to leave the club apparently.
