Wenger looks to bring Brazilian to the Emirates.
Arsenal boss is ready to push on with attempts to snap up Juventus defensive midfielder Felipe Melo. Arsene Wenger is looking to bring in new additions this summer and has been promised a big financial boost to back up any potential signings he looks to bring in.
The Gunners have previously shown interest in Brazilian international Melo and were hoping to sign the 26 year old last summer before he made his move from Fiorentina to Turin. The £12m rated battler has had a number of problems at Juventus since his move ranging from falling out with fellow players and having run ins with sections of the club’s support.
Wenger is looking to land the experienced combative midfielder in order to bring in a player who can protect skipper Cesc Fabregas. Whilst Denilson and Alex Song have done sterling work in the defensive midfield role but the Frenchman sees Felipe Melo as a better option.
