Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keen to seal a deal to sign Hull City keeper Boaz Myhill this summer. The White Hart Lane boss sees the 27 year old as an ideal back up option to in form Brazilian Heurelho Gomes. With veteran Carlo Cudicini still not fully recovered from his horrific motorcycle accident the north London club has been linked with a number of goalies to keep Gomes on his toes.
Boaz Myhill has been in marvelous form for the Tigers and the American born Welsh international seems set to leave the KC Stadium if as they fail to beat the drop to the Championship. The former Aston Villa trainee has been pretty much an ever present since his move to the club in 2003, since when he has notched up over 250 appearances.
Tottenham hope to snap up the highly rated keeper for a fee in the region of £5m this summer a deal that Hull may not be happy to accept but would represent a huge profit on the original £50k they spent on Myhill.
