Anfield boss set for somewhat unlikely offer from Serie A side.
Liverpool are set for a triple swoop bid that would see Rafa Benitez leave for Juventus who would then reportedly attempt to finance moves to bring Anfield trio Dirk Kuyt, Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano to Turin.
Italian reports suggest that Juventus will attempt to persuade Rafa Benitez by offering him a big transfer fund to help rejuvenate the struggling Turin side and will then hope that the Anfield boss would be able to smuggle three of his top performers to leave Merseyside for the Serie A side.
Currently under the guidance of caretaker boss Alberto Zaccheroni the Old Lady of Italian football are ready to hand Benitez a whopping £70m to invest in new talent and could also offload some of their enormous squad as they look to get back up with the title chasing pack next term.
Rafa Benitez has however stated publicly that he intends to see out his Liverpool contract and seems even less likely to leave the club now that current owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett are looking to leave the club and are actively seeking out parties to take ownership of the club.
