Bundesliga giants want White Hart Lane keeper.
Bayern Munich are going to test Harry Redknapp’s confidence in Brazilian keeper Heurelho Gomes by making an offer for the former PSV Eindhoven. Louis Van Gaal sees the 29 year old as a potential replacement for veteran Hans-Jörg Butt but could find it very hard to persuade the Tottenham boss to even consider selling a player who has been in excellent form this season.
The £7.8m signing began his White Hart Lane career in disastrous fashion dropping clangers with alarming regularity but has done fantastically well to prove himself to both Redknapp and the fans and his recent performances against Arsenal and Chelsea have been out of this world.
It seems highly unlikely that even if the Bundesliga side offered a very large sum that the north London side would accept it especially with Tottenham pushing towards a Champions League spot that Gomes himself has been an integral part of.
