Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to make summer moves to bring in young English trio Joe Hart, Jack Rodwell and Micah Richards to the Emirates. The Frenchman has revealed that he is already in talks to bring in new players and has been strongly linked with a number of potential signings that he hopes will bring an end to a five season silverware drought.
Wenger is keen to bring in English players to help cope with the ‘homegrown’ ruling set to come into operation in the next season. All three targets would pass the guidelines brought in by the Premier League and the trio help to resolve ‘problem’ areas in the Gunners squad.
Joe Hart, currently on loan at Birmingham City, is much admired by Wenger and the Arsenal boss is keen to bring in new goalkeeping options after witnessing far too many blunders by current first choice Manuel Almunia.
Everton teenager Jack Rodwell is also a target for the north London side who feel the young midfielder has great potential and could be an ideal foil for Cesc Fabregas in the centre of the Emirates midfield. Manchester City defender Micah Richards had been linked with a move to Arsenal a couple of years ago and is apparently reappeared on the Wenger radar and given the relative lack of first team opportunities for the English International may spark a renewed attempt to sign the 21 year old.

Arsenal
Won’t get Rodwell but the other two are possible.
OUT
Almunia, Rosicky, Senderos, Merida, Silvestre, Eduardo, Diaby, Vela (loan)
IN
Almunia: Hugo Lloris, Manuel Neuer and Robert Green are all being considered to replace Almunia. Joe Hart is also a possibility.
Rosicky: Eden Hazard or possibly Yoann Gourcuff or Steven Defour in will go in a part trade deal for Rosicky.
Senderos: will be replaced by Man City’s Micah Richards or Fulham’s Bede Hangeland and Azpilicueta is also a possibility.
Merida and Diaby: Felipe Melo and Charles NZogbia will quite possibly come in to assist Song in the defensive midfield allowing Cesc and Hazard room further forward.
Silvestre: Mamadou Sakho is being lined up to replace Silvestre.
Eduardo: Chamakh will come in Bosman, there will be no other forwards signed unless AW gets a good deal for Hugo Rodallega, Mauro Zarate or Loic Remy. Will compete with Chelsea for Lukaku and Eriksen at youth level.

Does the new ruling mean we have to get rid of some foriegn players, if so who should get rid of?
I say sendeross – alented but not as vital as other foriegn players
Gallas – Old and declining
Silvestre – Ditto
Eboue – We are gonna need english bit players in the future
Almunia – If he doesnt decide to qualify for england over spain
Traore – With clichy and gibbs traores not needed.
Djouro – Uninspiring
Tough Calls
Getting rid of song or denilson would be a tough call, as they are emerging talent.
Must Keeps -
Cesc
Van persie
Arshavin
Nasri
Sagna
Clichy
Vermaelon

M.Richards would be a good overall value for money buy for us and as Man c look to strengthen there squad by bringing in more CB’s such as J.Boateng 21, M.Richards could be available.
He can play both CB and RB and IF Sagna goes to inter then he can give us some depth and options. He has good height and pace and is young (21) and English. He needs playing time and Arsenal could develop him in to a top English CB as he is so young.
J.Hart. I agree is good and defo someone to buy in the future, but not now – as he is just too young and un-experienced to be Arsenal’s #1. I do not think that Man C will even look to sell him, as they need to keep the english balance in the team – but even they will not give him the #1 spot….
I do not think he has the experience yet that we need to defend off Barcelona, Chelsea, Man c etc and we need an experienced rock at the back and not some one who we must develop. If this was the case then we should just put Fabianski in goal and see how that works out…lool
So i think really, that S.Frey, Neuer and may be Adler will be more realistic.
GK S.Frey – 10M
RB Van Der Weil – 5M with Eduardo
CB M.Caseres – 6m
CB M.Richards – ?
DM F.Melo – 12 m
AM E.Hazard – 15m ?
ST M.Balottelli 6m swap deal for Sagna or Rodallega
ST M.Chamakh – free and signed
If you notice even if we got these deals – there still over budget.
Thats why I do not think that Hazard will come – as we really need a DM and Wenger has his heart set on Melo.
M.Balotelli – will be our Henry and Rodallega is good but wil not be a prolific striker like Henry.
Chamakh is good but already 25 and he will do well for us – but not a legend like bergkamp and Henry.
OUTS;
Eduardo + 5M cash – to Ajax and Van Der Weil (RWB) to Arsenal
Sagna + 6M cash – to inter and M.Balottelli to Arsenal
Gallas – to JOIN Mexes at Roma. all depends on if we get a CB.
Fran Merida – has already signed with A.Madrid
C.Vela – does not fit in to the Arsenal plan, as he was left out of the barc game
Sendros – Everton, deal done
Silvester – going regardless
Clichy or Traore- could leave, if we sell clichy now – we will get good money
Denilson or Rosicky – one must go to bring in hazard and i think denils will go.
We have many options and I hope Wenger does not just sign two players and that’s it., as usual.

Well if Wenger is saying he is in the transfer market then he should go for M.Balotelli. Inter have shown interest in to Sagna IF Macion goes to Real Madrid and he probably will as Jose will probably be the Manager next season of Real Madrid.
Bad boy – M.Balotelii at Arsenal…yes but no doubt Man C , Chelski will be all over him offering 50m and 400 a week….idiots.
But we have Sagna and they will need a RB if Macion goes

dreaming…Wenger know and he will let the supporter dreaming. Few years back we heard Hill wood said ARsenal have $$ to spend…Hill wood…can he stop talking ?? the area we talk are the position we need to add long time ago. You all know better than Wenger, if really no $$ to spend, is fine, at least we know we have to use young / talent but not keep talking and give us HOPE but nothing at the end. Every season Arsenal forum full of supporter suggest this and that
But nothing. of coz, I hope this year really have $$ to spend and bring the players we need.

I think every ones is more hopeful this time because the stadium is complete and paying for itself and the biggest achievement for us in the last 5 years is that we have transformed in to a proper all round club. Can you imagine if we where still trying to sign some of the best players in the world to are be loved old high bury, especially now when you have the likes of Chelski, Man c, Liverfool and Man u. These young footballers want glamour and we can now compete on this front.
I do not think we will get rid of as many people, as mentioned aboved in this transfer market – as it has been clearly stated that we must all stick together. I think its time to get rid of dead wood and use this as currency to trade players that will add real value to the team. Dead wood, you probably think most are but I believe the players who he is playing are part of the plan.
Arshavin, is an idiot thinking that Barcelona would even buy him and saying what he has – but we paid a lot for him and we need to get more out of him before we cut him loose and to be fair he has been a better signing than say Berbatov.
Diaby, is hot and cold but getting another foreign young player in or english I do not think is going to be a big improvement. Diaby is a slower learner than Song, but still knows Arsenal style of play and ELP. We still got to 3rd place this season ‘hopefully ‘lol and whether you like to admit it, Diaby was a big part of that, as well as Denilson and Song etc.
Denilson for me, is some one I would consider seeing going – as nasri, arshavin, Ces – kinda of do what he offers and when every ones fit – I do not think he will get a chance – dead wood
Denilson or Rosicky for me, one needs to go and its either age, value or swap which will determine who. But I think we should keep Roscky as he has the experience or heck just get rid of both of them now and get HAZARD. But he is so short.
Alumina – I do not know who would want to even buy him, I mean honestly has any one been linked to him – I think we should keep him for one season as are #2 as he was when Lehmman was are goalie.
So for example. Frey or who ever #1 Alumina #2 Fabinaski #3
I do not think Wenger will get rid of Fabianski, as he holds him as exceptional talent. V. Manomme or what ever should go or flip a coin Fab or Man.
So when you think about I still think that, even tou we have transfer money we are still going to struggle to get MANY decent players in, as every any one averages 10m -20m.
We really do not need unheard of players as most of our team has been built up on thisalready – which is still world classish – but we need real leaders, with physical presence and these will cost more.
So realistically we will swap a few positions only and bring in only a few players and who knows may just add another few in jan 2011 transfer window.
What pisses me off is how Tottenham paid 12m for Berbatov and Man u bought Berb off Tottenham for 37m. Now Man U will make a lose on Berb and still splash out 25m on 1 player – How?

we must keep song, cesc, nasri, rvp, clichy, varmaelen. get rid of silvestre please he’s done nowt for us. keep gallas for now because of partnership with verma. give djorou a chance nxt season but defo get a new centre back.
DON’T get balotelli because he’s an arrogant idiot who’ll ruin the harmony of the squad. chamakh and another striker maybe rodallega. we need some more class to help rvp, cesc and arshavin maybe gourcuff, van der vaart or diego. also some strength melo, gago, senna, heck even bringing silva back. just some suggestion for the professor.

I think that M.Balotelli is the only one top rated striker that we could have a chance of signing. I mean this guy is only 19 and in the inter millian first team with Eto and if things worked out in Italy for him, he could possibly of made the national team.
If you watch footage of him on you tube – he is like a drogba, adbeayor type of player and he’s only 19. Unfortanetly, there is a little racism in Italy and he is young and re-acted to it. In the right environment with some younger players like Arsenal around him and not old gezzers he might enjoy himself and calm down.
The reason, why we should get him is because by the time he is 23 he will awsome and will be in the Italian National Squad and be worth millions. We have a good chance because, with all this stuff going on with him – it is bound to reduce his price a little bit and if we could swap a player as part of the deal then he will be affordable.
Dzeko, hunterlarr etc will all get snapped up by Mardrid, Barc, Man c, Chelski Man u etc and we will be stuck with only Rodallega- which is probably the reality
But Balotelli is a step up and I believe he will be affordable and he wants to move from Italy so we could be a possibility for him – However, I think that Man C’s Robert Manchini has better connections and could lure him in to city.
I would give us some serous attacking options tou;
R.Van Persie
N.Bendenter
M.Chamakh
M.Balotelli
I thing I never understood – is why did we get rid of Kolo Toure and not Gallas?
Dont get me wrong Gallas is world class – but his age is too high for the future
Think if we had Kolo Toure now – things would not look so bad.

If Melo is not needed then when Song gets injured, who will partner up with Fab? Diaby, is not strong enough and doesn’t fit in to this role well and this is clear as Wenger plays him on the wings or off centre.
Fact is that, we need a strong defence and it is not only CB’s and GK’S. Song should be only cover for a ‘Vieria’ type of DM – which is why we need a strong consistent DM.
I agree that Melo hasn’t had a good season – but he has pace, skill, defence and is a first teamer on the Brazilian National squad and all this for 12m – is a good buy.

Let me say this. All you idiots think we should get rid of the experienced players, such as Rosicky and Eduardo. I know they reguarly get injured but Rosicky and Eduardo have had horrible injuries, and what we cant do now is lose experience. Look what Campbell has done to the squad? He’s lifted them because he’s a team leader. And what absolute idiot said get rid of Song and Diaby. Song HAS been the most consistent player all season, whereas Diaby is a very big promising talent. Joe Hart is probably going to be the most important transfer of all as we need a decent goalkeeper, and he has proved he has for Birmingham.
As for Richards and Rodwell, good signings I think.
Get rid of: Silvestre; Denilson; Fabianski; Almunia; Vela

You’ll get one goalkeeper, one CB and maybe another DM. Chamakh is coming on a free – that’s how Wenger likes it.
Everyone who thinks AW is spending more than 20 million this summer? Keep dreaming, and stop wasting your life with all sorts of fantasy ins/outs. One or two players will leave, and the guys we get in will be mid-level names at best.
It’s how he operates. Love it or leave it.

Out of the three I don’t agree with the signing of Richards. I think we need size and proven quality at the back, I rate his teamate Onouha (spelling??) ahead of him. If Gallas goes Cahill should be Arsenals first choice cb to sign, than maybe Subotic/Zapata. Van der Wiel should definatly be signed at rb (better than Richards imo). Hart I am 100% sure should come to Arsenal. Rodwell has potential but I don’t know if he would be better than the likes of B Matuidi, F Melo, A Annan, M Sissoko, S N’Zoni and even Diaby.

Diaby must go – if anyone can take the pace out of a game, time and time again, it is Diaby. Not worth keeping for the couple of moments over a season when he produces a gem.
Eduardo must go – how much patience can you have with a player who simply cannot get the ball into the net? He makes Bendtner look brilliant by comparison.
Silvestre should ball-watch elsewhere – way, way past it and has absolutely no pace.
It’s been said but no harm in saying it again – Almunia and Fabianski are not the keepers to have between the sticks if you really want to win things.
Get money for Sagna, Rosicky or Clichy while they can fetch a ransom. Gibbs is ready for left back (and Traore can cover quite ably). Eboue can play full back or half back so worth keeping and Campell has show that he can plug a gap now and then, so worth holding on to in the event of a defensive crisis.
In must come a proven goalie – whether it’s Akinfeev, Hart, Green or Neuer.
In must come a central defender – Vertonghen of Ajax, Kjaer of Palermo or Cahill of Bolton.
Get Felipe Melo of Juventus or West Ham’s Paul Parker and a forward that can actually score goals – a Torres or a Ruiz (Twente in Holland) but not a diminuitive like Arshavin, Walcott or Nasri – we’ve got enough!

in midfield i would sell rosicky but do a part cash and player swap for musut ozil
i would keep DIABY and problery buy melo for back up when song goes to ACN
up front i would proberly put vela onloan in the premier league so he gets more expeierence then i would sell eduardo as hes never been the same since the broken leg saga
