Goodison Park boss hopes to persuade Upton Park man to make Merseyside move.
Everton are reportedly keen on joining the ever growing list of clubs interested in signing West Ham’s in form forward Carlton Cole. David Moyes is hoping to be given a decent cash injection to help boost his Goodison Park squad and the Toffees boss is ready to sell Yakubu and will join a host of fellow Premier League sides who would like to snap up the Upton Park man.
West Ham co-owner stated earlier this week that every member of the club’s squad, except Scott Parker, was available for the right price. Carlton Cole has had two very good seasons at the east London side but may seek a move away from the struggling side and may see a move to Everton as a step up worth taking.
Moyes has watched on as his free scoring midfield have provided the lions share of the club’s goals and whilst Louis Saha started the season with a burst of goals the former Man United man has slumped of late, failing to score in his last ten games for the club.
