Eastlands boss considers move for Anfield bit part player.
Roberto Mancini is ready to offer Liverpool attacker Yossi Benayoun a huge pay packet to make the move from Anfield to Eastlands. The Manchester City boss is eying up the Israeli international as the added creativity he is looking for from his midfield and believes the offer of regular first team football may be too tempting to turn down.
Rafa Benitez has spent the last three seasons using the former West Ham man sparingly and the 29 year old has found himself only getting a lengthy spell in the Liverpool starting eleven when others have been injured or off form. This term has seen Yossi start just 18 Premier League games as opposed to the 21 he managed last season.
Benayoun has stated repeatedly he has no intention of leaving the club but may feel that the time is right to seek a move to a club who could offer him the level of football he feels he deserves. The attacking midfielder is a very useful tool to have in your squad. His tireless running, quick thinking and above all else the ability to make something out of nothing are noted by just about everyone else, apart it seems from Benitez.
