Manchester United are planning to make a summer move for Napoli’s Slovakian international Marek Hamsik. Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to fork out a large sum for the £22m rated playmaker as he looks to add more creativity to his Old Trafford side.
The Serie A side are apparently open to offer for the 22 year old former Brescia man as they look to allay financial problems but will only accept big offers for one of their prized assets. The attacking midfielder has been in amazing form this season and has become something of a cult hero at the Stadio San Paolo.
Ferguson is looking to inject more flair to his side this summer and has been promised funds to add to his squad and the wily Scot has earmarked the youngster as one of his top targets. Hamsik can play in a number of positions but is most suited to playing in an advanced midfield role and has a knack of scoring vital goals as well as weighing in with more than his fair share of assists.
