White Hart Lane boss targets Valencia magician.
Tottenham boss is ready to make an ambitious move for Valencia winger David Silva. Harry Redknapp believes he could persuade the Spanish international to make the move to White Hart Lane now that he has a Champions League carrot to dangle in front of prospective targets.
Silva’s ability to play on both flanks as well as behind the strikers is said to interest the Spurs manager who is looking to further improve his squad ahead of what he hopes will be a successful campaign on a number of fronts both domestic and European.
Daniel Levy has promised to back Redknapp fully in the transfer market and the north London club are more than happy, and able, to meet the La Liga club’s £28m valuation of the 24 year old attacker. Valencia have secured Champions League football of their own next term but still have massive debts that need to be covered and this has led to a great deal of speculation about the potential sale of one of their prized assets.
