Old Trafford boss ready to swoop for troubled San Siro teenager.
Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly keen on Inter Milan’s teenage attacker Mario Balotelli and will consider bidding for the £16m rated Italian Under 21 international this summer. The 19 year old Palermo born well build striker has had a number of run ins at the San Siro and appears to have little chance of securing a run in the first team under Jose Mourinho, who may well be open to bids for the youngster.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is known to be an admirer of the strong forward and has been monitoring the Inter Milan man’s progress ahead of a potential bid this summer but he may well find himself up against strong advances from the Old Trafford outfit.
Ferguson is looking to inject more young talent to his side and is also hoping to bring in more attacking talent to help share the burden that Wayne Rooney has had to carry this season. Any bid for Super Mario may well depend on just how much the Glazers are willing to give the Man United boss to invest in his squad.
Financial problems at the club may well deem it necessary for the club to sell before they can buy and with that in mind the likes of Dimitar Berbatov and Ben Foster could be offloaded to help fund moves in the transfer market.
