Emirates boss wants Goodison Park midfielder.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini as Arsene Wenger looks to bring new additions to Emirates this summer. The Gunners boss is looking to bring in combative midfielders and is apparently a big admirer.
The Goodison Park giant is in many ways two midfielders in one. He has the stamina and strength to act as a barrier against opposition attacks but is also very effective going forward and has great touch and the ability to score his fair share of crucial goals.
The 22 year old former Standard Liege man had a great first season in the Premier League but missed a fair chunk of last term thanks to an injury suffered in the Merseyside derby. David Moyes has seen a number of his top notch talent linked with moves away from the Toffees following an eighth placed finish.
Wenger has been linked with a move for Fellaini in the past and is looking to bring in new players this summer as he tries to end a five year silverware drought. Having already snapped up Marouane Chamakh on a free deal the Arsenal manager is reportedly still hoping to bring in another keeper and a central midfielder hence the reported interest in the talented Belgian international.
