Roberto Mancini is hoping to land a big money triple Barcelona raid this summer. The Eastlands boss has already set his sights on Yaya Toure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic but may also consider making a move for Barca youngster Bojan. The Manchester City manager will be given a vast amount of cash to invest in his squad so as to improve on last seasons fifth placed finish and is willing to offer up to £75m to lure the Catalan club into selling.
Ivory Coast international Toure has already reportedly been in talks with City and Mancini hopes also to bring his former Inter Milan forward Ibrahimovic to the club knowing that the Swede will not be happy about seeing David Villa signed from Valencia last month, a signing that further puts pressure on his first team spot at the Nou Camp.
It has been reported that Pepe Guardiola is happy to allow the 28 year old striker to leave as long as he gets at least £25m for a player who cost a hell of a lot more than that last summer. The third member of this trio may prove more tricky to nab.
Bojan Krkic is revered at Barcelona and even though the youngster has fallen down the pecking order due to the emergence of Pedro the club will not lightly allow the talented starlet to leave. The key in that particular deal is whether Bojan feels he has no choice but to leave in order to secure first team football and to help his case for a spot in Vicente del Bosque’s Spanish national team set up.
