Unsigned group The Velvet Hearts have been confirmed as Bon Jovi’s support act for June 10th 2010 at the O2 Arena, and it is an incredible achievement for the band – having only formed in 2007.
The Velvet Hearts won a competition organised by Hampshire radio station Wave 105, and will now open for the New Jersey band with a 30 minute set.
Bon Jovi have just begun their residency at the O2 Arena in London, having been the first band to play at the venue three years ago. They celebrated their series of concerts with another record: they are now the first musicians to play on top of the arena!
Bon Jovi tickets are still available for all the band’s remaining dates – including the 10th June with the Velvet Hearts, for which the lowest price tickets are £45. Elsewhere, tickets are available from £33, with the O2 Arena show on the 13th June and Paris Bercy show on the 16th currently retailing at that price.
Golden Circle tickets are the highest priced category with ticket holders being within spitting distance of the band though whether you want you want to pay through the noise to be covered in phlegm is your business entirely.
