The word legend is used far too much in football. For instance the use of ‘legend’ in a sentence involving Emile Heskey would a very big error. However Raul is undoubtedly a legend of the game. His time at the Bernabeu is now officially over and after literally a million goals (including all those in training during his 18 years at the club) he is on his way, perhaps to Schalke or perhaps to Tottenham or Newcastle United, but definitely not West Ham.
