David Moyes wants to bring Eastlands attacker to Goodison Park.
David Moyes is looking to offer under fire Manchester City attacker Craig Bellamy a Premier League lifeline. The Everton boss is interested in bringing the Welsh international to the club and is looking to take the 31 year old on loan, an offer that could be amenable to Roberto Mancini, who is averse to selling the player to Tottenham as he feels they are a rival for their top four aspirations.
Bellamy was reportedly briefly banned from City’s training ground due to his disruptive behaviour, a move that has since been rescinded, and the former Liverpool man may be interested in a move to Goodison Park instead of a potential move to Celtic, which appears to be another possible alternative.
Mancini is unlikely to select Bellamy in his 25 man Premier League squad and as such the speedy striker, who has worked well out wide, needs to look for an alternative destination to ply his trade. Moyes may not have the funds to make a permanent move for the Cardiff born pint sized performer but could be willing to take the player, and his large wage bill, on a temporary basis.
