Nou Camp side target Eastlands captain.
Barcelona will tell Manchester City Football Club they can have Zlatan Ibrahimovic…but only if they let Carlos Tevez move in the opposite direction.
Roberto Mancini would love to link up with Ibrahimovic this season, after the pair of them struck up a fine relationship during their time at Internazionale together.
It is believed the City boss is willing to let Emmanuel Adebayor, Robinho or Pablo Zabaleta move to the Camp Nou in exchange for the Swede, but The People claim Barca will ask for Tevez.
However, it is hugely unlikely Mancini will even consider letting the Argentine international leave Eastlands, after he had such a phenomenal debut season at Eastlands.
Furthermore, Tevez, formerly of Manchester United, was named as City skipper for their opening game of the season, with is another example of how highly he is rated. (Fansfc.com)
I think Pepe Guardiola may well have a tough time convincing Roberto Mancini to let go of his star possession, not least now that he was made captain in the opening game of the season. There does seem to be some weight to the story that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to leave the Nou Camp but up until now any swap deal has involved Robinho as part of the package, a deal that is far more likely to tempt Man City.
Carlos Tevez had an excellent first season at Eastlands following his departure from Old Trafford and the Argentine seems to have patched up any perceived differences he had with the City boss and there seems no way in hell that Mancini would allow the 26 year old leave the club.
