Juventus have completed the capture of Alberto Aquilani on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool.
The Italy international only moved to Anfield from Roma in a big-money deal last summer.
He was snapped up by former Reds boss Rafa Benitez as a replacement for the Real Madrid-bound Xabi Alonso.
However, the technically-gifted playmaker struggled to make an impact on Merseyside.
Injuries blighted his time in England and prevented him from holding down a regular role. (Sky Sports)
Roy Hodgson has acted quickly to farm out Italian international Alberto Aquilani and appeared ready to do so the moment he secured the signing of Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen, which would lead some to believe these two deals were interlinked.
26 year old Aquilani will be looking to get his career back on track and is fit and ready to resume his Serie A career after rarely getting a look in at Anfield.
