Bundesliga hotshot heading to Goodison Park?
Skysports.com understands Everton are lining up a move for Wolfsburg striker Grafite.
Everton boss David Moyes is determined to bolster his frontline after seeing his strikers fail to fire so far this season.
The Toffees have scored just one goal in their opening three Premier League games this season and missed a number of clear openings in Sunday’s defeat to Aston Villa.
Grafite’s place in the Wolfsburg side is under threat following the recent arrival of Diego from Juventus and he could be interested in a move away.
Everton’s attempts to land Grafite could be thwarted as they may struggle to win a work permit for the Brazilian. (Sky Sports)
Edinaldo Batista Libânio, or Grafite if you prefer, is something of a late bloomer. The 31 year old was something of a journeyman footballer until his move to Wolfsburg, having plied his trade in France, Brazil and South Korea before his Bundesliga move.
He then helped the club to their first ever domestic title in 2009 by scoring 28 goals in the process. However he now appears to want to leave and Steve McClaren may not stop him just as long as he doesn’t lose his other prolific marksman Edin Dzeko.
David Moyes is looking for more attacking options and a loan move for the Brazilian international may be just down his street.
