Roberto Mancini watched on as his Eastlands side took down Liverpool with relative ease thanks to goals from Gareth Barry and a Carlos Tevez brace, albeit he appeared to have very little to do with City’s second goal. Joe Hart pulled off a fantastic double save that seemed to deflate the travelling Anfield side who were unable to get back into the match against a well drilled unit.
