In the grand scheme of things I am sure that White Hart Lane chief Harry Redknapp has been called a damn sight worse but Sky Sports’ Kevin Palmer didn’t know that. For some reason the Spurs boss didn’t like being referred to as a ‘wheeler dealer’, which I can understand as it conjures images of a fly boy/second hand car salesman type rather than a leading football manager. That being said, it could be that having seen his side lose to Wigan may have been the catalyst for his expletive ridden response and in fact even if Mr. Palmer had referred to him as a ‘florist’ he was probably as likely to lash out, such is the irritation that comes with losing to the Latics.
