Aug 17, 2010 - Manchester, United Kingdom - PROFESSIONALISM, endeavour and humility are the three words MARIO BALOTELLI has engraved on the gold pendant that hangs from his neck. 'It was a present from my mother,' he explained yesterday after being unveiled as Manchester City's latest signing. His mother clearly knows him well, because Balotelli's past would suggest that he needs to be reminded to follow what reads like a code on a daily basis.

Mario Balotelli is already being touted for a return to Italy by his agent – to Inter’s city rivals Ac Milan.

The Serie A giants were heavily linked with the enigmatic forward all summer, until he eventually plumped to rejoin his old coach Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

But now Mino Raiola, who also represents Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has just completed a return to Italy a year after leaving, has opened the door for Balotelli to make his own spectacular comeback.

“Balotelli to Ac Milan? Why not!” exclaimed the agent.

“Nothing is impossible. Who would have thought that Ibrahimovic, who cost £58million, would now arrive for £20million?!

“Everyone has a price and everything is possible.” (Daily Mirror)

Agents, don’t you just love them? Why would Balotelli’s representative make such a comment? Is his desire to pull off another transfer in the near future simply a way of making yet more money of the back of the talented youngster?

Wouldn’t it be great if all agents could be placed on an island and then left to starve to death? Harsh perhaps, but tempting.
